I am so far behind in my reading there's no way to catch up, so I'll just say how good it is to see you all here and "listen" to everyone. Meece, I missed the announcement too - wooo hooo and then some! I too am jealous, but hope/trust that may be in my future. I like the idea of adopting a grandchild if not though!!! Finished all my wrapping tonight, which is about par for me ... I've been known to not finish till the wee hours of Christmas Eve/morning, so I'm happy
Hope you all get time over the next week to truly enjoy the best of what Christmas has to offer. Know that I hold you all dear in my heart all year long. Peace out sistahs.

DS & DIL were working on adoption this summer before he went to Afghanastan but the young woman lost the baby while he was gone. This made the baby-boo news so special. They had resolved themselves to adoption and DIL had been to a PS to see about a breast reduction. Now she's going to need those melons!
I will make the announcement again in the garden. Thanks, barbe.
-
I just checked, Barbe. I announced it on page 34 of the garden, we are now on page 60.

i heard a good one today. was with my DIL amiracle in itself, and my beloved, GS said he wanted to go to playin at grama's or so i thought.. it seems his cousins have 2 judys' for granmas'. so, they call my DILs' mr. gradma Judy; so, they asked what to call the other one. her sister saidplain grandma.. so, they all call her Plain Grandma...i think its a riot!! then, they call Judy, grandma Judy.. so they start with no, my judy, no, my judy.. so, now, he won't call her Grandma Judy.. it's My Judy.. i think its' lovely.. of course, im Nana, and that ones safe. he won't call ANYONE but me NANA! i wouldn't have it any other way.!!!i think Grameece is adoborable, too!!! 3jays

The rock band Simply Red started that way 3jays. They were about to go onstage as Red when the announcer kept asking what they were called. Their reply? Simply Red!
Meece, I believe you! Holy cow. Reannounce it and watch what happens though...or maybe just give an update. I think we got wrapped up in Grace coming home and then Matt......

Only on our beach!!!!
We have such amazing appreciation for all art forms!
A good sculpture at the beach, is noteworthy........
Who ever or however many participate.
I didn't have time to get any new cards this year.
Fortunately I have some left overs from last year to recycle:
There's just so much more love in my heart for our beach.
You beachie babes have gotten me thru a very tough year.
You each twinkle in my heart for your encouragement, your contributions, your courage.
May this season's joy sparkle on into the new year ahead.................
