Aaaah, the well that never runs dry!
OK beachies, I am off to get a 'formal' dress for the cruise. If I find one, I will show it to you. I love retail therapy.

-
today was a picture perfect fall day in PA. still great colors around and got to 65 sunny degrees. aahhhh
and the trailer is all secured for the winter, pipes flushed, fridge emptied, stuffed animal guards watching over the place for the next few months!
-
oh - I almost forgot - I got an absolutely lovely thank you note from Marisa Weiss for the spa gift certificate. She was truly touched and asked me to relay her thanks to all, so thank you from Dr. Weiss

Pitchers of drinks at the beach!!
Dream so glad that you have a new ride for your sand adventures in our midst. It looks like you can take a passenger or two along for your explorations.
Had a GREAT day here on all levels. My presentation this morning was among friends and was like an ol' home reunion on many levels. They were so happy and proud for me -- over this latest project. Sigh.............................
Keep all the glorious pictures poppin'

This was taken Vetrans Day.
-
wow Chabba, that might be one of the best sunset pics I've seen ... glorious
-
adding to the beauty ... this is from Cape May Point, NJ, about 20 minutes from where we have our trailer. they do a ceremony every day from Memorial Day though late October where they honor veterans and raise the flag of a deceased vet every single night as they play taps. how awesome is that? here's a link to the full story if you'd like to read more, or you can just bask in these pics

Chabba, what a photo!!
-
chabba-stole it for my desktop background for awhile-it's beautiful!
-
Our beach is kind of a flat strip of sand except down at the jetty, but it makes for beautiful sunsets and fantastic storm scapes. And about 3 miles away on the other side of the city is a bay with just as exciting sunrises which usually feature magnificent views of Mt Rainer.
-
marlegal, thanks for the link, it brought tears to me. its' a wonderful thing think, one mancan make such a difference. kinda makes you think differently 'bout " jersey shore" that's for sure!3jays

wow the resort in Mexico that had the gas explosion was the one we took our family to in 08.Brand new resort with swim uprooms.Very scarey.
-
A few years ago some members of the USAF came to my favorite uncle's funeral. They stayed way in the back by some trees and at the end we heard taps being played on a bugle. It still brings tears to my eyes remembering that sound.
-
You wonderful beachies have me in tears this morning.
Mar thanks for sharing the link to the wonderful work that is taking place on the beach with the flag and the honor to our heros. I am so moved.
Yesterday in church they asked all of the veterans to stand. Then they asked those sitting nearby to 'lay a hand' on anyone within reach and a very special prayer was said for the efforts, sacrifice and devotion to our freedoms. I sat with my hand upon my husband's back while others surrounded him. I cried thru the entire prayer. To see and hear these stories today is so moving.
Thanks to all for sharing their slice-of-the-beach.
Chabba that picture is breath-taking. Simply breath-taking.
Have you figured out how to post your own pictures?? Keep doing whatever you are doing, as it is such a great addition to our little cyber-shared beach.
