Imagine the absolute THRILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL tonight. An hour ago. I've got all 3 of my pips bathe and smellin' good and in their footie jammies. I've got a twin on each knee. I was actually reading them a book that was sent to them by al ol' time beacher gal, Bearly Sane, Iris, on the occasion of their birth.
We were all giggling and laughing and rhyme-in' and havin' a ball................
There was a knock on their bedroom door.
IT WAS THEIR DADDDDDDDDDDDDYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!
What a surprise.
What a happy surprise.
He had traveled from AFB to AFB across Europe, hopping flights here & there. He had his dad pick him up and deliver him home.
I thought the kids were gonna come outta their hair.
I thought DD was truly gonna lose it.
So, I got to come home -- TO MY HOUSE!!!!!! Where my husband is!!!!!!

Lissa - Those were just shells washed up by the storm. The clams native to our beaches are the razor clam, long, narrow and thin shell.
