3jays, if you are posting from the net, open another window, find your photo, right click while pointing at the photo, then click 'copy'. Come back to the BCO window and in the post box, right click again. A small box will open with 'paste' just click on this. Another window will open that asks for access just click on allow and you pic will appear.. Hope this helps.

LOL, Debby.... I go to facebook more than I should. Love keeping up with you and your travels. I hope to cross paths one day.

Mary-Lou, love it!

Wow. Mary Lou & Julz, tooooooo!!!
Love the fly-bys, from our ol' timers.
Meecie, I got to see the ocean out the airplane window -- that's as close as I got to the real deal.
Just got off the phone with a sweetie from UTAH, looks like after talking about it for about 6 years, they are going to have me come to them. Get this. In less than a month!!! They have $$ they have to use by the end of the year. LOL.
So next up is a trip to Kentucky, then home, then NYC & Long Island (professional dream come true: taking new 9-11 tribute picture book into the big apple) then home and then UTAH!!
I seriously want to 'finish' (as in hem) the found quilts for the NYC trip, at least a few of them. Oh, and we are genuinely attempting to move out of our Ohio house, for real..... before the end of the year...... as we have some renters, though our realtor just called and she's actually showing it for the first time in like 6 months on Saturday.
How do you spell mayhem? I think I'll just keep the suitcases packed and launder my undies and be happy in the piles & piles of piles. What other choice is there?? LOL
Seeing beach joy makes my heart light.
Did I tell you that a preschool in Texas is taking there 234 kiddos to the local military base on Veteran's Day and singing & signing my song/book? Too awesome for words. Lisa, your picture is a somber reminder.
Our SIL was supposed to be home from his deployment on the 11th, but it looks like this trip of his has been extended slightly. DD is a bit loonie w the news. I'm here at her house right now, so she could get some fresh air.

Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Keep trying 3 jays. One day it will work and you'll be dancing all week. When I come to FL in Jan maybe I can give you a tutorial in person. LOL. Me a computer tutorial...... pretty funny for those who know me well.

faith, good to see you back in form and posting away, and planning more travels. your energy gets it energy from that - I don't know how, it would knock me flat, but I know that it restores you. awesome news about all the good visits and cities and reasons and plans. I keep waiting for you to have business in Phila - I know that day will come
hope you're all having a good week so far. my two more horriblest days are behind me now, so it's onward to Friday - yayy!!
-
Here's a glimpse of the view between my Hilton's front door and the convention center, just a sidewalk's width away.
I was pretending to hear the surf and feel the sand.
Mar. What on earth was horriblest?? There outta be a law against any of us having the horribles.

Another resident of our small beach town.
-
Hi Beachies!!!! It's SO good to see all of you. New beachies and old (well, not old but you know what I mean)....LOL.
SoCalLisa------just want to wish you and DH Happy Veterans Day. My DD took this picture when we visited the Statue of Liberty last year....
Thank you Lisa and all other Vets who have sacrificed and/or served in the armed services.
We appreciate you!!!
-
i second that, coonie..
-
-
Since Faithie wasn't able to make it to the beach in beautiful California..........I thought I'd post some of our pics from last year's trip to Laguna Beach...............let's pretend .........
For all our sistahs....
Maybe we could all squeeze together on one of these wooden benches.....sit and stare out at the beautiful ocean......listen to the music of the waves.....
Coooool............she WAS there
awwhhh and so was Sharon!!!
and Arnie toooooooooooo!!!!!
And the next one is there ANYTIME we go to the beach....we can feel her in the breeze, or the clapping of the palms.......
-
Faith - I just hate Mondays and Tuesdays in general!!! Luckily there's nothing horrible going on with me - and please God let it stay that way
For Lisa, her hub, and any other members who that may have served and we just don't know it, thank you.
-
Hey Mar!!! I've read just a portion of your recent experience. I need more time to completely read it through. It sounds like you had a WONDERMOUS time!!!!!!! I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO very glad you got to attend!!!!!
Here's our Lady.........standing tall............
-
thanks coonie - I did have a wondermous time, and didn't realize that my blog about it would be as well received as it was - I've really been touched by everyone's comments. we just keep giving and giving to each other, don't we? I never tire of seeing Lady Liberty. she really does represent something wonderful, doesn't she
you and I were posting at the exact same time a few minutes ago ... loved your sand pics, especially dear Saint
thanks for them sweetie.

Beachie kids.
Spent a chunk in the ER today w DD who fell down her steps, as she was carrying the twinzees in a rush to get WonderBoy off to preschool. The good news is, she didn't break any bones, just really wrenched things outta shape. She did get a mild concussion, so I'm spending the night here with her.
She's the one who has a husband deployed as I type. He was supposed to come home tomorrow, but I guess due to Veteran's Day 'celebration' there's no one at the base to bring his plane in?????? One of those screw-ball scheduling things that goes awry between the active duty and the retired.
My hubby was in the Navy and served aboard the JFK air craft carrier...... mostly in the mediteranian -- why can't I spell any more? It is good for folks to realize the stresses placed on the families of those away. I'm truly worn out after this day of ER, and my wonderful grands...... I'd much rather fly cross country and sing for 10 hours than repeat this song & dance show.
Fortunately she's not nearly as bad off as it could have been................................. It's just so hard to do 'my' work when she's got so much to juggle.
Enough whining for tonight. If anyone's got cheese and crackers it would make a good spread.
xx00xx00xx00xx
Coonie thanks for always being in the wings -- when we need ya most............
-
Its been a long time since I kicked off my shoes and put on flip flops.
Will be celebrating Remembrance Day with my GS.
-
Dream good to see you back. How have you been?
-
Riding the wave to tell you all hi and happy Veterans day. Brings back memories of all the years my son was in the air force and so proud of being there and I was so proud of him (and still am) Keep on walking the beaches and searching for some sea glass and sea shells.
