It's a beautiful fall day here.
I've had a quiet beginning to the day, especially welcome after the weekend's really,
really, really festive, twinkly, chaotic days, filled with switched schedules due to last
minute arriving out of towner's.
I will take whatever this day brings but I sure enjoyed the crazy craziness of the wedding
weekend.
Sunshine for valentiner's who surprise me with twinkles and great spirit.
Good morning from Sand Dune Street and Mr. Sunshine peering thru the bug puffs of white
clouds dotting our areas of clear blue sky.
I'm loving this Fall weather.
Oh and the wedding was exquisitely delicious. No rain. Big wonderful beautiful time.
-
Shining shells. I wish everyone a happy day today no matter what your day holds in store.
Dental. Medical. Family joys. Family wonders. Test results. Anxious waiting.
I wish each and every a smooth path to the answers and treatments we each need.
At this time with my family trip fast approaching I need to focus on getting said family
also focused on what needs to be done to walk out the locked door and drive to the airport
to our much needed respit from the daily grind.
If I'm not here quite as much that is the reason. I will check in on our return. With a surprise.
Love Sahalie

My home-away-from-home is completely quiet, except for the clacking of these keys. All four here have the fall-crud..... so came over for a bit to offer some support. EVERYone else is asleep. What a golden moment.
I come to our beach looking for the friendships, support, encouragement and motivation that has always been here -- round the clock. What a gift this site is.
We're making progress on all of the various projects that I have under-way. It will be so exciting to get just one of them across the finish line.
Patience.
Julz. I finally got to go see Willie sing for me. Seemed so funny that they couldn't get Cheryl a mic that could pick up her voice. Struck me as so funny..... even the BIG pro's have tech issues.
I'm picturing SAINT and DREAM having a week-long, glorified slumber party. I can't wait till they get back & share their insights.
ooooooooops, there goes baby B, wanting attention.
love to all.
-
I am picturing Saint and Dream with shining beads all around their necks and coming home RICH from winning
that is such a sweet picture of the momma kissing the baby. Getting ready for work so have a peaceful evening at the beach and hopefull will see you all on the beach tomorrow. Julz of the beach is going to post my favorite song for me later about my favorite things. She is our DJ now. Which also reminds me Jaz, I love you, please come home.
Hugs from A - Z
-
time for another hunk-of-the-week-a-thon?
-
Dropping in from work for a quick hello!
I love the mama and baby giraffes! How cute!
Happy Anniversary, LUV!!!
I have no time to post right now. We have been very busy today. I'm off tomorrow, so I will talk to you all then.
Peace!
-
hi beachies!
Happy Anniversary luv. My hubby and i just celebrated our 18th this summer. good luck with the MRI.
mary-lou, i hope your dentist appt went well!
sahalie, getting ready for that vacation sounds like a good plan---the days are flying by now.
faith, your life sounds so busy always. I don't know how you manage to do so much. You are an inspiration. btw, who is Willie (Nelson?) ? and who is Cheryl? Maybe i missed something earlier in a post.
Hello to spar, julz, janny, footieangel, saint, shrink, wings, margo, dreamer, and any beachie i forgot to mention.
-
Just got home from a nice lunch out with girlfriends.
Grilled burrito suizas with guacamolio sauce.
One trillion calories. Someone hit me with a stale flauta please.
I wanted to wish LUVS and most merry Anniversary celebration with bubbly champagne and
chocolate dippes strawberries with dh.
Celia. Teeth. Ugh. I had to think of something funny to focus on while in the specialists chair
getting my one and only root canal mid chemo. It worked. Even the drill sounded funny.
Not your typical scary drill sound. Rather like a duck quacking. I kid you not.
Are you having full out knee replacement? If so. You need some help with you at home for
a few days.
They will send you home with sturdy crutches and pain meds. When is that scheduled?
Hi Janny. Wunderful about today being a "free" day.
Shrinkbeautiful bride. How is your arm and hand? did you ever find out what caused the swell?
Mary Lou Who. Ditto on the well wishes for your dental today.
Spar. Sweet bird. Thank you for meaning full wishes and greetings. They mean a lot.
Julz. What up Ms. Evening angel. I hope both our girls of compassionate caregiving are
taking good care of yourselves too.
Faith. Welcome home and continued success on your colorful adventures.
Footsdeb. Making lemonade cookies this week and will save you some.
Margo. Thinking of you and hope all is well.
Lisa. How is our sniffles girl in the south land. I hope you are feeling much better this sunny
day.
Hello and greetings to all beach friends.
Spar. Looky this craft so easy to make for little grand goblins on Halloween.
-
I've been so productive today, that it's time for some volleyball on the beach!!
-
I'll miss decorating for Halloween this year as we will be out of the country so maybe is it OK to
decorate the Beach? Just a little.
Run fun Halloween things and twinkly lights up thru the palm trees.
October Country
...that country where it is always turning late in the year.
That country where the hills are fog and the rivers are mist; where noons go quickly,
dusks and twilights linger, and midnights stay.
That country composed in the main of cellars, sub-cellars, coal-bins, closets, attics,
and pantries faced away from the sun.
That country whose people are autumn people, thinking only autumn thoughts.
Whose people passing at night on the empty walks sound like rain...
-Ray Bradbury -
Hope that all of our 'dental' patients are making continued progress:

Don't forget to floss:

Halloween-fright, teeth. Ye gads!!
