I stayed out here so long I can hardly see to get back to the boardwalk.... Warm hugs to you all for making life a little less stressful everyday.
-
Okay, Okay,
I have really been away for awhile. I will be catching up on the beach scene this weekend. I am about 50 pages behind. Have a great sunrise and I will touch base with all soon.
The beach has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks, but work and spending time w/ my dh and family have taken up much of my time. I have been craving long walks on the beach and the beautiful sunsets. Well, I am taking back my special time w/ my beach ladies. Everyone has been so uplifting and supportive at my time of need. Thank you.
I am walking beside everyone and thinking of you all everyday. Sending all (((((HUGS))))).

Hey a big hello. I've grabbed my flipflops and decided to come out of the closet.
Big hello to my friend Cheryl from NC. Cant wait to start posting some pictures.
After those drinks you served HICCUP!
Those hump day pictures? Bwahahahahahahahaha
-
Sahalie, those eclairs look too, too good. I love them! I just finished lunch and my mouth is watering all over my computer. Yes, my computer at work is up and running again!!!!!!!
Faith, great pics of the babeez. Our twins were over last weekend. Goodness, they will be 5 in January! I can't believe how fast the time has gone.
Hi Celia. What's up with you today? How is your scalp? Hopefully, better.
Julz, we certainly do ride when the weather is cold. Anything over 40 degrees is doable. I have expedition weight long johns and leather, lol! We have actually gone out when it was snowing.
Spar, did you start your new job?
A big hello to Heymoose, Dream, Footie, Wings, Harley, Amy, Lisa, LUV, Saint, Shrink, and Mary Lou. Sorry if I missed anyone. You are all in my heart.
For you, Sahalie
-
Good day folks, just a drive by....... I now have both babies. DIL's mother couldn't do it any longer today.
Bet I rest tonight!
I thought this little guy was so cute...
-
Thanks to everyone who had prayers for my son's loss. This is the second friend in the last 4 months. Both on bikes and both in their bike club. This guy had no children, the other one did.
My son was the VP of their club, so this has really hit him hard. They have fund raisers all the time for others in the community. The last ride was something like, Ride for Christ to raise money . They had a yard sale not long ago, I was able to thin out some overstock here at home.
Do they have a foot soak on the beach? I need one.
-
Your son is in my thoughts, Mary-Lou. What a horrible tragedy.
-
Mary Lou. My heartfelt prayers and thoughts go to your son at this difficult time.
Sahalie
-
Mary Lou. Just look out at the deep blue beautiful ocean and that is your place to soak your feet.
Guarantied relief.
Faith. Those are the best pictures of Sarah and the babeeze and WB. It's been along time since
getting to see them. They are so adorable and so wonderfully healthy looking.
Footsdeb. I'm so happy you enjoyed your goodies. I agree whole heartedly with all you said.
Julz. What a beautiful post.
Spar. I wish you another good day at the new job. It does take a while to get with the comfort
zone of a new job and how lucky they are to have you there.
Hi LUVS. More yummies coming your way. Stay tuned.
Janny. Thank you for the beautiful picture. That's Moorea and we stayed there for a week last
year. Wonderful island and the Polynesian people are so full of kindness and care.
The water is just as it looks in the picture. Sea turtles come up and look at you as you are
kayaking or in a small outrigger which they call a canoe over there. Pure heaven.
Celia. I'm sending you a big old warm and fuzzy hug. Can you feel it I hope!
Another wedding this weekend. Happy times.
Sahalie
(Edited ~ Spell check. Drats.)

Thanks....You know they say things happen in three's. I am scared stiff I will get one of those calls. And Cory rides pretty fast at times.
I almost feel like a elephant is sitting on my chest.
-
Mary Lou-so sorry for your sons loss.
Amy
-
Mary Lou. Maybe your son will slow down a bit after such a tragic loss of his friend.
I hope so for both your sakes. XOXO.

October's a trip.
My family has an unusual relationship with pumpkins and all squash in general.
We love them. We grow them. All sizes. Colors and shapes.
We'll try any dish with squash in it at least once.
My favs are acorn squash baked with butter and brown sugar.
I love all shapes and sizes of pumpkins that I adorn our house with and they last all the way thru Christmas and sit astutely under and around the Christmas trees.
My fav pumpkin recipes are of course pie and also pumpkin cookies.
Recipes to come. I have to run out and do one last errand for the weekend wedding.
Adios. Sahalie
-
Yummmmm. I always bake acorn squash with butter, brown sugar and a little cinnamon and nutmeg. We are squash people too. Well, everyone except our two boys. They are in their 30s and still won't touch it.
-
Those mini pumpkin cheesecakes look so good. The second day was a little better than the first day on the job but my feet are hurting so bad, going to go lay down and prop them up in a bit. they are all red and swollen but I got to thinking i have wore nothing but flip flops since last winter. We are a pumpkin squash family also and grow them also. love the pumpkin seeds also. Isn't life interesting. When I drove up today the first thing i see is my husband running flat out and the duck was waddling even faster. He never caught the duck, He was going to have the duck on the porch when I got home so I could greet him and pet him first thing but he ran off and is having a swim in the pond for right now and he will come back to the porch when he is good and ready.
Mary-Lou, am so sorry and sad about your son's friend. Her senior year in high school my dear daughter's boyfriend was killed in a car wreck right after he left our house and then 2 months later her best friend was killed in a car wreck so I feel like I can relate to what a tradegy you all are going through. Her best friend was named Nicole and her and my daughter looked a lot alike. Nicole's mother took my daughter to cancun on vacation with her, she never got over her daughters death and ended up taking her own life which broke all of our hearts. Life gets so crazy sometimes.
Have enjoyed all the beautiful pictures and post. Hugs and love from A through Z
-
mary-lou, so sorry to hear of the sadness in your son's life. I wish him strength at this time. You have been posting such lovely pics here...thank you for the uplifting you are doing!
heymoose, i am thinking of you too. Please enjoy walking on the beach today. Glad you have spent some good time with family.
sahalie, i love those flip flop beach lights. You are a wonderful beach decorator!! and i love all the treats you have brought to the beach. i think i will make the zucchini bread....after my crowned tooth stops hurting. ummmmm eclairs!!!!! ouch, those will hurt now tho. Thankfully, I am starting the new crown procedure on monday. omg that pumpkin pie you posted looks incredible!!! i hope you post the recipe for the mini-pumpkin cheesecakes...they are amazing!! Did you get all of your bikinis ironed?
dreamwriter, have a good time on your trip.
footie, hugs to you always. i sent you a PM.
faith, thanks for the wonderful hump-day party...i agree with julz that it sure is hard to find "appropriate" hump-day pics lol. Your collage of babeez, wonderboy and daughter came out terrific!! You are such a multi-talented person!!!
luv, my head is better---doesn't hurt now unless i touch it, but the tooth is another story---it's getting worse but will, hopefully, start getting better on monday when i see the dentist again. i love the pic of the little girl in front of the painted thingy box...what is it anyway?? i enjoyed the statement about passion...so true.
julz, thanks for thinking of me....i have stitches that are supposed to dissolve on their own and haven't yet done so. They will call me to come in for a check-up soon i guess. You really ARE a JEWEL! i love your positive posts full of enough happiness to share.
bikerjan, we probably need to get you a rag for all the drooling on the computer you are doing because of all the food being posted....delish pics!!! I had a biker boyfriend a long time ago and we rode all over California. When we rode, I used to wear his down-filled head-to-ankle nylon suit that had a zipper up the front. He had another suit that he wore. The one i wore was white and i felt like a stuffed bunny in it.
spar, i hope you are doing well and are starting to feel more comfortable at the new job. i thought i posted these next 2 pics for you this morning but i can't find my post now. I am re-posting them so if i did post them successfully, sorry for the repeat.
socal lisa, amy, margaret, wings, how are you all doing?
well, back to my walk on the beach.....
-
Hi shining shells. What amazing art Celia. I really love those works.
Spar. Welcome home and I'm so glad today went well and you are home with your feet up.
Mr. Waddler Duck will be by your side momentarily and how absotively sweet that your dh
tried to get him to welcome you home.
Thinking of Margaret. Wingers. Lisa. Amy too. Hi girls. Check in when you can.
Loves to all. I'll post the recipes either late tonight or tomorrow.
I am so beat from stuff today and like Spar I need to put my feet up. Companies coming too.
Love you guys*
