P.S. Janny, I second Sahalie's motion for those starfish in the bluest of waters as our winning image of the month award.
whooooooooooohooooooooooooooo to youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!
first runner-up were those huge chop-sticks-sculpture of Celia's a few pages ago.

P.S.S. for bringing us all together, here in the calorie-free, sunshine-soaked, constant-encouragement-zone, where everyone is adored for who they are and who they still might become:
Have a lot of love to share? Splash on in!! The water's fine.

faith, such beautiful hearts for everyone. My heart is a bit heavy today so i have some wings for us and for a distant angel.....
sahalie, i had an accident my first month in the Pacific Northwest and wrecked my knee and had several surgeries that made it worse. I could barely walk even with a cane. It took 8 years to convince the docs to do a knee replacement. So i am sorry that i might disappoint you, but i have not done any treks here. Five months into my knee replacement recovery i was diagnosed with breast cancer. Another huge interruption.
To answer your other question about home crafts, i actually don't do much in the way of crafts because i try to concentrate on doing my artwork. I was a Printmaker specializing in Lithography, but i don't work with those chemicals and acids anymore. Now i do drawings with mixed media and I use photography too in the drawings. I have spent the last few years doing art in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop on the computer, but i miss drawing directly on paper. I also did some beaded drawings a few years ago that were crafty.
Art about Life...Life about Art.......Art hearts for everyone!

I think the winning picture is the blue water with the star fish also, what wonderful natural beauty.
I love my homemade hearts and I will share with everyone. That heart shaped water shooting up is pretty remarkable.
Sure hope you guys saved one of those bursting blueberry muffins for me, they look so good that I can actually smell them.
Faith so glad you have all your power back.
Thanks for all the love and support. love you guys.

Am so sorry your heart is a bit heavy today but we will eventually be ok. I am with you today though.
Hearts for all my beachy breast friends.

Celia, I think my grandfather worked in Lithography. I have the original pencil sketches for a lot of his etchings. My grandmother was the one with all the knowledge about him and she's been gone for many years. With my mom gone also, I have no one left to ask about him.
I love art!!!! The shell wings are beautiful. Just perfect for a distant angel.

Hi All:
DH and I had our wedding reception party on Sunday. It was wonderful. DH gave this fabulous speach about how grateful he is to have met me. This is from a man who is a clam about his feelings. I was speachless.
My son wore a jacket and tie and crocs. My grandchildren were there too. My granddaughter (age 3.5) asked me if I had any puzzles in the house. I said that I did but I thought they were very hard. She said, "Don't worry. I'll help you."
We're going on our cruise on Saturday. You're all be with me in my heart.
-
Oh Shrink, so happy for you. and so cute about your granddaughter. I really hope you will share pictures with us when you get a chance.
