Fart. Just blew away a l-o-n-g post to the three of you.

Wanted to offer my support to you Puppylovey, to let you know that you've been in my stream-of-thought-prayer thru the whole day. Pop in when you've got some energy, to let us know that you've made it thru. I trust that all went according to plan today.

Norm: please do not feel as tho you have to be "chipper" in here with us. You are entitled to every feeling, vision, thought that comes into your head. This has all been a heartbeat of time. You have every right to be thinking whatever you want. Scream. Sob. Cry. Swear. Repeat.

You get a HUGE amount of credit for remembering to put one foot in front of the other, for remembering to breathe. Be kind to yourself.

For certain, no one here is expecting you to be a happy camper.....

KimberSIS: my dau is 24 almost 25, TOO! -- the one expecting the twins!! Yes. Time certainly has flown..... how on earth is it possible that she can be a mother? She's just learned how to walk herself -- or so it seems.

Blink your eyes and they grow up. Poooooof.

    Good Monring Angel Watchers,
I don’t have a lot of time this morning, so a quick note before I’m off to the chemotini lounge.

I’m thinking after last nights bout with power surges, my image of wrapping up in a blanket to hibernate rather than my being enveloped by fog image is sounding a little too toasty warm for me.  Between Decadron and nuclear meltdowns, I slept fitfully to say the least until after 4:30 am when I was able to sleep for a full two and a half hours without waking, which is why I’m running a little late.  My older sister is meeting me in 20 minutes or so for breakfast before we head out to the lounge.

I’ll check back in later this afternoon after lunch and a visit to the ds. The older sis hasn’t seen his new digs.

I’ve got my Supergirl cape, FUBC tshirt, Check Your Boobies hat, and chemotini glass in hand.  Up and Up and away…I hope Superman doesn’t mind me borrowing that line for today.

    SIS Kimberly

PS Norm- I agree with Faith, you don't have to be chipper here, and therapy will bring up stuff that isn't pleasant that we're ready to deal with, so this funk is good news in that your psyche is ready to deal with things that will help you clean out that emotional closet.

Hallelujah!! Puppylovey..... thanks so much for posting. Offering you encouragement thru your wrestling with the alternatives is the easiest thing I've ever done, sweet friend. I am so grateful to you, for your vibrant willingness to offer faith to others. Letting it reflect back to you is simple.

    Prayers all week.

KimberSIS: you took all of your props and costumes to let your medical staff know that you intend to conquer this, and conquer in style. They must love being able to offer their expertise and support to you, Kimbers.

I'll pray that the fog lifts just as soon as possible.

Norm: We are always here for you..... whatever your mood, whatever your attitude, whatever you're thinking. The more you are honest with us, the more we can extend our caring (with being specific) to your current thoughts.

I had a TERRIFIC turnout at a little bittie town library for a concert tonight. The librarian said it was impossible to count, but she thought there were over 120 in attendance. We had such a riot of fun. From teeny tots to tiny teens..... I LOVE family night. It was so much fun. We ended with a grand finale and I brought all the kids up on stage that wanted to participate. It was so funny. So many parents were grabbing their phones to take pictures!! I haven't seen that in such abundance before. LOL.

Well all three of you: Deb, Kimberly & Norm are in my prayers all week long!!

this mood I've been in lately is pretty hard to shack.I thought I couldn't feel any lonelier, but it get's worse as the day's go by.I keep trying to fill the time and keep busy with any little thing and that worked for awhile, running to prince george, fighting with my computer dealer arguing with the phone company, dealing with the funeral and headstones, fighting with Sara.I'm tired.I feel like an alien,I'm not trying to whine, just saying how it is.norm

Norm: strength to you in the lonliness that is now settling in, now that some of the immediacy of the tragedy have passed. Of course you're lonely. Staying busy sounds like the best strategy for coping.

Puppy & Kimber: love, hugs, strength and courage

I have a HUGE day on the road tomorrow and must go get myself organized. Will be praying for each of you in these trying times as I drive back and forth across the state.

    Hey Angelwatchers,

I'm preparing for the impending fog and wanted to check in before being envoloped.

Puppy- I'm so glad you checked in to let us know that you're OK after the procedure. Rest up sweetie...we're right there with you holding you close.

Faith - Yeah, the costume gets the staff and other patients giggling.  Your library event sounds like it was a blast. Congrats on the big turn out.

Norm- It's true. Once all of the things that need to be taken care of after such a tragedy is completed, there is a big emptiness to fill.  What do I do know?  What you do now is let yourself feel the loneliness knowing it won't last at this level of pain forever, but it does need to be awknowledged and honored.  Doing stuff to keep busy to take a break from the pain is a good thing.  I hope you shared this with your counselor so she could help be present with you at this difficult junction.  Know we're are here whenever you need an ear.

Please know that if I don't check in for a few days that I'm still sending you all of my love through the fog, OK?

    All my love,

    SIS Kimberly

Fog Aleart. Fog Alert. KimberSIS is possibly about to be enveloped by fog. Kimbers, with your remaining functional brain cells -- I challenge you to think of as many possible acronyms for FOG as you can think of: Friendship Offers Grace is my first suggestion.

I'm glad that your costume puts you in charge of the situation. I'm sure that your approach of lightness and mirth helps all manage on their best behavior. You are a model for others, dearie.

Puppylovey: just sending you bundles and oodles of love today. I had a 3 hour drive up here and just spoke all of my hopes and concerns for you that I could think of and articulate. So feel free to use your energy today for more productive things.

Norm: I think Kimberly has given you an excellant gift. At this point just ask yourself questions -- you don't have to find answers at this point..... just ask the quesitons: What do I do now? What can I offer with the remainder of my life? What opportunities now present themselves because of this tragedy? Where can my unique gifts be utilized? Are there places looking for my set of skills?

Just keep asking questions....... ask with a pure heart & one day the answer will emerge -- just when you need it.

So what a hoot, angelwatchers..... I'm driving up here this morning, zooming along at 62.8 miles per hour and what do I encounter??? A horse-drawn Amish buggy. Talk about a whole different perspective on life!! Can you even imagine?

Blessings thru the fog, the lonliness and the uncertainty of it all......

Angel watchers: I have such encouraging news from snow-melting OH to cheer each of you. I accompanied my dau to her doc appt and ultrasound. All is well in babytown. She continues to incubate with great blood pressure and all signs are encouraging.

According to their estimations the babies are nearing the 4 pound mark -- with brother Trevor tipping the scales at 3 pounds 15 ounces, McKenna just 6 ounces behind him.

They made her next appt for 2 weeks out!! Let's keep praying that all stays on this path. Trevor is currently breech and so there's not a lot of room for him to get flipped correctly -- so they will be watching sharply for those sort of placement details.

We went tonight to a HUGE garage sale for multiples and got a stroller for two and a way cool wagon, plus quite a lot of other goodies. I had never seen such an event as this!! Everyone was so amazingly encouraging.

People can be so very, very wonderful. Tonight was such an example of goodness oozing out of folks.

Puppylovey: I love this blessing that you've shared with us. When you are able to tell us of your week, please share as much as you are willing. In the mean time I pray in broad brush strokes for you.

KimberSIS: sending you a HUGE fan to blow the fog out to sea. Then cooking up a picnic for you to take in the convertible to celebrate the progress you've made.

Norm: I'm sending you an enormous cyber-hug, a kick in the pants, several armies of pixie-fairies to watch over you and cheer you in whatever way you want. Perhaps a garden gnome to stand guard over your healing heart.

Find fantastic things to do with the coming weekend.

Norm........ happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy happy happy happy birthday, happy birthday to you!!!! AND MANY MORE!!!! On Channel 4, with Scooby Doo and the Flinstones, too! Imagine me strumming along on my classical guitar. (It always impresses the preschool crowd.) Hope you were able to think of something to do on your special day to bring a smile. When in doubt watch an old comedy.

Puppylovey: am I understanding you're to have brain surgery? When sweetie? How soon? Must start the prayer circles. Sorry to hear of your discomfort (PAIN) from the biopsies. The worst part is undoubtedly the waiting. Waiting is just plain hell-on-earth. Keep the faith that "information is power." Tell us a few more details, please. In the meantime, know that I'm praying for brilliance from your medical team.

SuperSIS: Isn't puppy the best? She's very accurately given you a new  twist for your costume. This morning we had a VERY dense fog, as I drove early to a MOM (mothers of multiples) garage sale, first thing.... the melting snow was like a science fair project on weather. So of course I started the day thinking of you. Sending you a gaggle of daisies. I think daisies are so down-to-earth and yet so very lovely. The seasons they are a'changing. (remember that song?)

    Good evening Angel Watchers,

I promise I'll catch up on reading what I've missed while enveloped, but wanted to let you know I so felt you love and support. Thank you!!!!

    March 17th-
St. Patrick’s Day seems like a very good day to emerge from a thick fog hangin’ o’er the moor I had lost myself in these past days. Moors can be very tricky to navigate ye know. For those unaware of my Scottish Heritage, I have great affection for the Celtic, and this seemed a good analogy for me to use on this day. A moor is an extensive waste covered with patches of heath, or low shrubs, and have a poor, light soil (something akin to my pale pallor), but can sometimes be marshy, and abounding in peat which is an accumulation of partially decayed vegetation matter. Yep…that describes it as I truly did feel like a partially decayed piece of vegetative matter for sure…that is until just a few hours ago.  It is so weird how it happens. Literally, it is like someone simply lifted the veil between myself and time, and suddenly there I was once again amongst the living.  Now, if I liked the stuff, I might have me a nip of a good Scottish Whiskey, but doubt my stomach would agree with that much celebration, nor would my lack of energy support me in dancin’ a jig.

The news, which I could categorize as ‘good’ seeing as I’m looking for the bright side here, and thinking if I’m going to be down anyway, I might as well be DOWN, is that I developed an infection of the left (it isn’t really a breast, now is it?) mound (OK, so why did the jingle for Mounds just play inside of my head?). It was pretty painful and quite attractive, so Greg called the plastic surgeon who called in a prescription for antibiotics Sat. morning.  When I saw the Doc this morning, he explained how easily that could happen with my immune system being so compromised and told me he was glad we hadn’t waited to contact him. Whew!!!!

So on a beautiful sunny evening…yes it is still sunny at 6:20 pm…I’m happy to report that this member of Clan Montgomery is amongst the living once again. Slainte Mhah (Good Health)!!!

KimberSIS: welcome back.... all I can think of from your description is when I first read "Hound of the Baskervilles." Your specifics make your experience very real for the rest of us. Today it was cold & rainy & I kept thinking of you -- hoping the veil had parted. I'm so glad to get on & find that you're once again with us!! Welcome back. Continue to be brave.... always in your corner! I'll do the jig for you this year -- next year we'll dance together.

Puppylovey: I'm being plauged with techno issues as well. Have no idea why I would suddenly be having issues with this laptop??? If I'm awol for a while, know that I'm sending up prayers for you in the old fashioned manner: directly to the heavens. I know that 'waiting-by-the-phone' feeling. My thoughts are with you as you await the results. Trust that we will be here for you, whatever the news.

Norm: We've all got to have some fight in us..... these little unborn peeps, struggling to get born are leading us. Your angels are watching over all of us: Kimbers thru her chemo, Puppy thru her waiting and decision making, me in my babywatch..... and you as you begin to weave a brand new life out of the memories of your old one.

Everyone have a great week. Sending great vibes to each of you for the day at hand -- as we journey forward together.

    Good Afternoon Angel Watchers,
OK, so this one is kicking me in the butt!!!!!  I’m usually feeling a lot better by now, but I literally have so little energy I can’t stand it!

On a smiley note, I just watched a small Fitch take a blossom right off the tree outside my window and fly off with it as if preparing for a rendevous with his love.

Thinking of you all, and those sweet babies!!!!

Happy dancin'.... happy dancin' oh happy, happy, happy dancin'......

Today marks my first anniversary of my diagnosis!!! What a thrilling milestone to reach! Can't even begin to put it into words. Just thinking of your finch off for a rendez-vous brings tears to my eyes.

My DH came over here (to DD's house) with a lovely bouquet and cooked us a scrumptious meal. (He's a real keeper!)

My younger DD sent me an e-greeting card, which I opened first thing this morning -- to find both her congratulations & love. Truly amazing that she remembered, as I don't even remember mentioning it to her..... certainly not in the past couple of months. Wow, maybe she is growing up.

KimberSIS: sorry to hear that you've got lingering fog keeping you in the low lying moors. "This too shall pass." As sure as the snow that's falling as I type (what's up with this weather??? Our blizzard accumulation had finally melted -- and now spring equinox accumulation. Truly unheard of.)

Focus on your signs of spring............

Puppylovey: you've been holding out on us!!! I stumbled into a different thread this morning. Here you've been all hearts, flowers, and angels -- totally and completely All-American Hallmark..... on that other thread you've displayed 180 degrees on the other end of the spectrum. Funny.

I think Norm might just appreciate seeing that bucket of beers! Sending you strength by osmosis.

Norm: Where are ya buddie? Have you had any recent conversations with your counselor? I don't even know what day of the week it is..... let alone when you usually meet with her, but I think it used to be at the beginning of the week? Thanks for your cheering for these unborn peeps! It really means a lot to me.

My mural painting on the nursery wall is starting to really come together. I'll have to have puppy come over & help me figure out how to share some pictures with you..... she's such a genius -- and now I further grasp her wry sense of humor.

    xx00xx00xx00xx

First year down...... another forty nine to go!!

It's a new day dawning, angels-watched-over friends!! A new season. A whole new attitude.

Puppylovey: couldn't let you be the most sophisticated -- sharing all of those encouraging pics. They taught me how to do this, over on the beach thread!!

This is a sunrise over the Atlantic, when we were down in FL last month.

KimberSIS: sending you the wear-with-all to keep putting one foot in front of the other. You are gonna thrive, not just survive. Keep your eyes on the finch -- there are lessons there.

Norm: sending you a feeling of being "understood"..... even when I have no idea what you're going thru at any given moment..... know that I care that you are having to endure this incredible lonliness and the stark contrast to how you envisioned this spring unfolding. Your angels are going to be sending even more signs of their watching over you.... you're gonna see their handprints in the world all around you.

    Good Morning Angels,
Sorry I was MIA yesterday.  I just needed a day off the computer doing something not cancer related.  I read a book called Best Friends.  My energy is slowing returning, and other than that, the new development is my bottom lip is swollen with a lovely 'chemo' sore, and I can't open my mouth very wide. A spoonful of oatmeal if too full can be problematic.  GEEEZZZZ!!!!!  This last tx kicked my butt and good.  Today, I finally have the energy to do a few errands ( I have been in this house, although I've been out to the backyard to sit in the fresh air, for 9 days) and oh...I know....when I emerge... people will do a double take, ..."Is that who I think it is...is that Angelina Jolie?"  HaHaHa  The dh calls my bottom lip my Angelina Jolie lip.

    Puppy-Love that dancin' cutie!!!!

Faith- Your sunrise is beautiful. I do agree that little Finch has lessons to teach me...still makes me smile to think about it.

Norm- We miss you. Hope all is well with you, and that you are just busy making plans and doing fun stuff away from a computer.

    Love to all,
    SIS Kimberly

Soooooooooo glad to see everyone in tonight, upon checking in!

We're just home from a "pops" symphony concert w/the Irish tenor..... his 6 foot 9 inches of volume and heart filled the auditorium beyond belief.

He sang "Danny Boy" and then concluded the evening with a tribute to the fire & police of 9/11 -- couldn't have been a dry eye in the house.

Norm. Thanks so much for making the energy to post a greeting. So glad to know that you're checking in. Will say so many prayers for you tonight -- into tomorrow.

KimberSIS: you're hope gives us hope, you're strength our strength. We are each enthusiastic by the pictures that your words paint. I am indeed, so fortunate to be hearing this laughter from my wonder-boy, grandson.

Puppylovey: you're a genius at this picture selection process. I am so delighted at the choices you make...... but remember I've seen some of your other images, too.
