Norm, how are you doing? I just had a sinus infection for the last 3 days and the whole right side of my face hurt: my eye, under my eye, my ear, my throat, my head.....today, i had to have an xray of my sinuses. Fortunately, the whole infection is almost all gone now. I hope you are well. Let us know what is up with you. Still not smoking?

Hi all,
Sharon, sorry to hear you were down with a sinus infection...I feel your pain. It has been 9 days now, and I'm on the other side. Still stuffy and have a lovely cough and no voice, but on the other side feels so much better.
Faith, hope Florida is treating you well...all toasty warm. We've had unseanonable warm weather here. It's been in the 60's and even the low 70's in places in CA. Crazy. We need some rain so badly...or drought is going to be pretty far reaching. A bike ride sounds nice....maybe when I'm feeling better.
Norm, so how are you doing with the new decision? Still feeling as positive that staying was what you need to do? If so, what is the next step for you? Still smoke free?
Take care all...just a quick check in...my hot tea is calling my name.
SIS Kimberly

sharon, thanks, my sinus infection left as quickly as it came on. I have never had one before but when i looked it up i ahd ALL of the symptoms. Just had the xray and haven't heard anything. Funny that Kimberly thought it was your sinuses that were going nuts!!
Kimberly, i am glad to hear you are getting better. Fortunately for sharon, it was MY sinuses that were malfunctioning, not hers!
footie, take care and be as well as you can be!
faith, you are a globetrotter for sure!!
norm, i am still praying and wishing hard for you to have happiness and peace in your life!

Celia, glad things cleared out.
-
Celia glad to hear that you're on the mend..... and Kimberly, too!! Our bodies are such amazing contraptions..... how things go awry and then how they come back into balance, again.
Sharon and Footie: I know how much Norm appreciates the company here -- and so do I!!
Norm: thanks for checking in with us. It's always reassuring to see the parade of angels. You got us used to "chatty" posts, but I know that's not always how you're feeling. So thanks for letting us know that you're hanging in there.
Suz it's time for a quick pop from you, now.
Kelley, I don't know if you ever get back around here to read, but I'm continuing to keep you in my prayers and thinking of you often.
Dearest Puppy. We all hold you up in our prayers for your returning strength and progress. Much love.

Norm and friends. Here's the sunset out our back door last night. I posted it on the beach, but Norm, thought you'd appreciate the colors, too:

Good Morning Angel Watchers,
Sharon, oops, glad your sinus' aren't acting up.
Celia- Glad yours didn't last too long. Sinus infections are no fun at all. The aching behind the eyes and even teeth aching. Glad my full sinus didn't decide to go that direction. I'm on the tail end...at least I hope so. It's been ll days, and I'm still coughing some and still blowing my nose some.
Norm - Glad to see your angel parade. How's life treating you? I know that Canadian's don't celebrate Martin Luther King Day, but how are Canadian's feeling about the U.S.A.'s new president?
I just watched a movie last night called The Confederate States of America. It was a movie done like a 'documentary' with commercials included as if the Conderates had won the Civil War. A very interesting perspective. Canada became a safe haven for slaves and abolishonists.
Faith, love the sunset and can only imagine how much fun you're having in Florida. Splash in the ocean for me...pick up some seashells and listen to sound of the ocean if you can find one big enough. If not, look in wonder at the 'home' of whatever creature once inhabited that shell. Isn't is fascinating? Breath deeply, the clean ocean air. Skip, twirl, and laugh knowing that we are all holding your hand.
Suz, Footie, Puppy, and Kelley, thinking of you all. Suz, you should be pretty busy with all the weather although I heard the PNW had a break this past weekend. Footie, hoping each day brings you reminders of just how much you are loved and appreciated. Puppy, wishing you continued healing and love as always. Kelley, like Faith, don't know if you get on here much, but know we continue to hold you and your family close to our hearts.
Happy Martin Luther King Day! I can just imagine Dr. King smiling and down right giddy about tomorrow’s big shindig. His dream has taken a huge leap forward with the election of an African American president…who happens to be a Christian with a Muslim middle name and represents the diversity of America within his own family tree: Kenyan, Irish, and other nationalities as so many of us do. This man is a symbol of what America’s Forefathers hoped for our future; ALL men (human) are created equal, and that our government’s job is to be for ALL the people, not just a minority of America’s population.
Enjoy your day, SIS -
Just a question~why aren't we refering to Obama as bi-racial? His mom was white.
-
(((((Norm))))), are you ok?
-

Hello;angelwacther's;hope you all had a nice weekend.....me,I just laid around all weekend, didn't leave the house.gee it's funny how much stuff one gather's over the year's.There's allot of thing's we forget about till you start snooping around..........I'm gonna have a yard sale this spring(price tag on everything will be the same FREE) I can't sell,it wouldn't be right.I'm sure there's people that could use most of the stuff.
Hope your having a great time,FAITH you deserve it,the sunset was stunning!!!!!!
So tomorrow is the big day for the U.S.A. I can't speak for Canada, but as for me I'm happy to see a new President(Pres. Bush Sr.&Jr. always made me nervous).Obama has his work cut out for him.It will be nice when the word racial doesn't even get a second thought. And I believe the U.S.A. is letting the world know ,all are equal by election of the people. Not that a bi-racial president will fix all our problem's,but it's a good start wouldn't you think?I wish All American's good will, with the economy being the way it is,we all have to reach out and help each other alittle more.
I don't follow politic's,but I believe regardless of color, race or gender we all want the same thing, the best person doing their best...........t.f.l. ......norm
-
Well said Norm.
Glad to see you post.
Hugs galore...........(((((Norm)))))
P.S. With all these hugs I feel like we are having an affair.

-
Sharon, good thing you're blushing.... silly goosie-girl.
Norm..... it's always great just to see words in a post, no matter what they say. But your thoughts on the world's working together are profound.
We're appreciating the relative "warmth" down here -- but the sunshine is a gift from heaven.
