Lisa, I'm so sorry to see your news.
I'm hoping for the best possible scan news (and the soonest possible scan...)
Hang in there,
LisaAlissa
-
Lisa-I just don't even know what to say.
-
Hi all, sorry to be AWOL, but you know the drill...
Lisa..so sorry to hear the news..and sorry they
treated you so shabbily....you know how much we all
are behind you and are hoping the best..
We are heading out soon...at least I am up to my ears
in getting ready...
-
Dear Lisa---I'm so sorry for the bad news...I won't even pretend to know how this is making you feel---this is just beyond comprehension--I honestly don't know about the medical dx either way---but will hope for the best of those two and pray that you are in good medical hands....Sylvia
-
The support of you guys is invaluable. You know me, You;ve seen me at my good times and at my bad. I hope to have GOOD times soon.
And the saga continues...
Stage IV expresses my outrage!
Lisa
-
Oh, Lisa - I am so sorry to hear this news. Please, please, please call on us for help when needed - work day, or not
I'm literally 10 minutes from you - straight shot down the freeway!!
Are we meeting this month? The 30th or 31st works for me. Maybe somewhere down by LisaSDCA?
Lisa #3
-
Oh, and I have Stage II recon on Monday up at UCLA - Yeah me!!!
-
Lisa, I keep reading and being amazed that you've been treated so badly.
CA is bad enough...you shouldn't have to deal with the sort of "interpersonal skilllessness" that your docs have displayed.
Sending good wishes your way.
And hope that you find a good 2nd opinion doc!--and are able to have at least a little bit of fun w/ your sister.
Lisa#3, best wishes w/ your reconstruction!
(Yeah, you!)

Oh Lisa, damn it all, I was so sorry to hear the news. NOT FAIR!!!
I could write a book about rude, down right mean and onery doctors. I bring out the worst in them, I give off a Pheromone that says, "You are most likely a pompous jerk".
They feel the waves.
Hugs Lisa, and all my love, Shirlann
-
Lisa#3, we leave on Monday, just wanted to let you know I will be
thinking about you ...sending you some roses in advance..
-
Lisa #3-Your almost done. WooHoo.
-
Liz - I expect lots of great pictures.
Lisa3 - hoe are you doing?
LisaSDSC - any news?
-
Hi all,
Just a short note to let you know that I got through surgery okay and am now home. All went well despite the nausia, etc. More details under May surgeries and May reconstructions.
Brahna
-
Brahna..it is good you are safely home from your surgery...take the time
to rest and heal ..
-
Brahna-Congrats on getting through the surgery. Now just take some time for you.
-
Hello all---glad you got thru the surgery OK Brahna and just be good to yourself and lay down---but get UP if you WANT and NEED!!! YES---what about lunch on 3/31?Lisa--how are you./
And Lisa glad for your end to surgery soon---and Brenda--how is the RE market--and Liz---where are you and Susan ---where are YOU?
sylvia
-
Sylvia..I am here for another couple of days..then heading out...
-
Sylvia-The RE market is frustrating right now. Working a lot for little pay.
SoCal-I noticed the gas prices have been climbing again. Hopefully all the other states are charging less.
I am headed to my thyroid ultrasound in few minutes. Wish me luck.
-
Brenda - I'm doing just that --- just lazin' around. Took a short walk today with my daughter. My goal is to go to the Relay for Life on Saturday morning and walk in the survivor's lap.
-
Brahna - glad you have that part out of the way and are feeling as good as you can.
Brenda - how did the thyroid test go???
-
Susan-It took all of 10 minutes. It will probably cost that times 100. Anyway, I made it through fine. Got pretty upset when dh called right afterward but the ultrasound was uneventful. You know they don't say a word while doing the test. I am sure I will hear something from my pcp tomorrow.
-
Thyroid Brenda---did i miss something----did you have an abnormal TSH?
-
My TSH was fine with meds. I went to a chiropractor for a free consult a couple weeks ago. He took a few xrays. In the one of my neck my thyroid lite up like a golf ball. My pcp ordered the ultrasound based on this info. I still haven't heard about the results yet.
-
Thyroid ultrasound was clear. Much a worry about nothing.
-
Good news, Brenda!
-
Glad to hear that Brenda..
-
Liz,
I love the roses. How do you (or what program do you use to) put the pix into a collage? Inquiring minds want to know.
Have a wonderful time on your road trip.
PS Has anyone heard from Lisa (SDCA)?
-
Lisa's last post is in the stage IV group.
Brenda - great news.
-
Jeanne, I use Picasa3 which is a free download from Picasa..
we leave o dark thirty on Monday morning...
-
Wohoo Brenda---it is the waiting that is so hard isn't it?
Let's do a count for 5/31 for lunch if we can manage that day....#1.
