LISA---How are you doing girlfriend?
S
-
Works for me!
Sylvia - I am COLD!!!
Dang Winter!
Lisa
-
I am not a football fan---but I just walked thru the living room and my husband has on the Buffalo/New England game being played south of Buffalo in Orchard Park--right near where I used to live---it is in the 20s and wind gusts in the stadium are up to 70 mph-----now THAT is COLD
-
it's so cold here, I actually had to turn the heat on a couple of times. I sit out on the balcony because it's warmer than my condo is. Don't you just love southern CA buildings ...
24th ok for me too.
-
Go Chargers!!!
I just went to the store and found this little fellow on the way...
-
The 24th works for me, or the 31st. I am busy on the earlier dates
Happy New Year to all - and may it be filled with much happiness, peace and renewed strength and good health.
LisaSDCA - hope you are doing much better and weaning off the dreaded decadron. You are in my thoughts daily.
Liz - love (l-o-v-e) the duck! Quack quack.
-
GO CHARGERS...!!!!!!!!!!!!
So glad the 24th is working ....
-
This is what Temecula looked like today..I was thinking about what
Kato Mato is up to.???..she has to pass over this to get to San Diego..
Long time no see..
-
I'll be in Florida on Saturday. I'm going to have to find a sports bar & make a fool of myself rooting for the Chargers. Luckily, since it's an area of Florida that is primarily east coasters gone south, I shouldn't be insulting too many people there. I'll wear my LT shirt & have a beer for you too Liz.
-
Have a safe trip Susan. I have to keep reminding myself that the game is Saturday, not Sunday.
-
-
Happy New Year to you all.
-
Hi gals, Liz, be sure and let me know what you decide. Things have been crazy around here, we bought the Prius, sold the Chrysler, went on a cruise, got home, I am meeting myself around every corner, half nutty. So let me know.
Love you, all my sisters, Shirlann
-
Happy New Year to Everyone. The 24th is fine with me; I will just watch the thread and see what you all decide.
I hope 09 brings us all decent health. Everything else is a bonus.
Hugs, Melia

Hi all and Happy New Year's Day
it has been quiet around here..
BMD..what was that place again you mentioned that we went to before...the pizza place up there ...near you...we pretty much had the place to ourselves last time..but you north county people know the area better than I...
-
It is called Today's. It is just west of the 5 off the Sante Fe exit in Encinitas. Same exit as Scripps Encinitas Hospital.
-
Isn't it scary that our landmarks are hospitals ...
-
That was my home for 8 days. Not to mention my PS and BS are in the building next door.
-
Hello---I'd be happy to make arrangements again with the folks at TODAY PIZZA---I can have them setup a table again and when we are ready we can all order separate---makes it easy---

Hi, Brenda or Liz-----How do you find a person on this site---I was trying to go back thru the pages to find "BDRider"---was that it?.... and could not find one post from her--I wondered about how she was---her name was Kim, right?
-
Look forward to seeing you all. May bring a friend (recently diagnosed).
For now it's just me - so #4 total, plus Brenda's boys.
Sylvia, if you click on the "Member List" on the upper right hand corner of this page (or any page on this site), you can enter her name and then search. I tried BDRider but nothing came up. Maybe it was slightly different than that??

Sylvia..I emailed you her address at your hotmail one...
her member name is brdrider

You know from the Florida newspapers, you'd think there wasn't a team called "Chargers." San Diego, the most obscure big city in the US.
-
I have always said San Diego might as well be an island of it's own.
-
Shhh...don't tell anyone we are here...
-
Hi gang, I will be there on January 24th, Saturday, what time? TODAY PIZZA???
I think that is what I read.
Oh yeah, you can hear the disappoinment in the announcer's voices when the winner is west of the Mississippi River! hahahaha
I don't hold out much hope for us, but who knows?
Hugs, Shirl

Hi Ladies,
It has been such a long time since I've been on BCO. I'm now in San Diego!!!! Will be here until Feb 5 and hope to get together with some of you. We are staying on Mission Beach in a rental unit for this month. Spending a lot of time with our granddaughters. Saya is one today!
Sure is nice to get away from Michigan and the cold and snow. Chilly here on the coast but I certainly cannot complain.
Lots of hugs to all of you,
Linda
