Surprise ladies!!!!
We have a letter from Marisa!!!
It arrived today and here it is....
*********************************************************
Dear Girls,
Thank you so much for the wonderful patchwork quilt which your amazing community member so lovingly crafted for me. What a very special gift! I am deeply touched.
As you know, the quilt had a long journey to our office- then the cold of winter-then I was traveling for the organization-Thus the delay in my writing to you. BUT please know that it was love at first sight when we finally met. I will use the quilt to keep warm as I work on developing new info for all of you and the 8 million others who depend on us!
Thank you circle of friends!
Fondly,
Marisa

Woo hoo...I am so happy she got it! You girls are the best!
Love and hugs
Vickie -
I'm so thrilled that she got it!
-
I had wondered about that one. Glad it made it too her and she liked it
Deb C -
Why does she call it a patchwork quilt??? Are you sure she didn't get us confused with that 'other' group?? That's just odd to me. I just don't want someone else to get credit for all the hard work this group put into this project.
-
I had people refer to my afgan as a patchwork too! i tell them yes it is a patchwork of love and hugs from the Wagon Circle! I feel loved and want to cry everytime I talk about it!
Love to all of you! -
Ok all out of yarn...if you have some let me know or just send it on...all I have left is grey....(hey I had 3 boys, not much pretty there....)
MB -
Purple -- I can send you some yarn if you like!
-
Jaz, that would be great...I don't get much chance to shop in our little burb...you want me to pay shipping?....do you have my addy?
MB -
Shipping is covered already -- yes, I will need your address. Are there any colors you are partial to? I have the whole rainbow. I'm a yarn-aholic now.
-

Madison - I included a little something to help out with postage or whatever you need it for. You should be getting squares this week.
Hugs -
Lizws1, Thank you, thank you, received the squares and the extra. I am mailing 2 afghans on Monday so the postage help is appreciated.
Cherryl, received your squares and have already incorporated some into the current "in progress" afghan.
Sheri, received your squares also....some of the squares are in the pictures I will post in a few minutes.
Thank you all so much, Hugs Madison -

Hugs,
Sue -
Wow Madison...beautiful!!! As always!
Cherryl and Liz...I got your squares and (from Liz) the postage money that will cover the next two afghans I send out.
I hate to keep repeating myself over and over but I can't come up with any words that describe how I feel any better than these...
You are all simply the greatest, sweetest most loving bunch of "sisters" anyone could ask for and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this possible. We couldn't do it without you.
Love
Vickie -
I wish I could find the words that go with how I am feeling
right now! I really am speechless! all I can put in writing is {{{HAPPY TEARS}}}
xoxoxo Puppy -
Wow, is it possible that each afghan just keeps getting prettier and prettier?!?! I get a "butterfly" everytime I see a new "afghan of hugs" getting ready to be sent!
Love ya,
Denise -
The afghans are gorgeous!!! Madison and Vickie - since I am not good at making the squares, can I help with postage? Let me know and I will get a check off to you in the mail. Hugs, Karen in denver
-
I am working on more squares to send It's been slow for me but I tell everyone that sees me working on them when they ask what I'm making. I tell them "the most beautiful afagans full of Hugs, love and encouragement from the best support group out there"
Vickie & Madison, I gave my Aunt and Mom you addresses so they could send squares directly to you rather than sending them to me and me sending them to you. Hope this was OK. -
CY, yep...it is okay for your Aunt and Mom to send them directly to us.
I am putting the 2 afghans pictured above in the mail tomorrow....
And
Have a 3rd almost complete
You are all the best,
Hugs, Madison -
Hi ladies, I have my Knifty Knitter and got the yarn Vickie sent me but I don't know where to start! What size do I need to make the squares? It may take me awhile until I get the hang of it but I will be working on it. Any suggestions, feel free to pass them on to me.
Beautiful afghans. I'm looking forward to being a part of this.
Margaret
