To those facing days filled with anxiety from waiting on test, facing surgery, chemo, radiation or just readjusting to life. To dealing with stresses of everyday life - jobs, family, finances.
This thought comes to mind: God will Make a way, when there seems to be no way. He works in ways we cannot see, he can make a way for me.
I pray for each of you to have strength for whatever tomorrow brings secure that you aren't alone - that God loves you. He knows your name.
Hugs, Brenda -

If it is to be. . . it is up to me.
The me I see . . . . is the me I'll be.
It is going to be . . . because of me.
The best is yet . . . . to be.

In Touch Daily Devotional
by Dr. Charles Stanley

August 15, 2007 God is in Control 1 Corinthians 13:12
Its 100 percent true that God is good and that Hes in control. But these facts dont prevent bad things from happening. Its within the Lords power to give everyone a perfect life, but that wouldnt be in our best interest. Trials and suffering often drive people to God. For those of us who are believers, God uses harsh circumstances to mature our faith and conform us to the image of His Son. Being made perfect and pleasing to our Father is indeed in our best interest.
In His knowledge and wisdom, God may allow disaster and evil to touch our lives so we can grow from the experience. Whether its in compassion, trust, or knowledge, growth is good. If we could peek behind the scenes of our life, wed see the Lord in control and working toward His ultimate purpose for us.
Romans 8:28 affirms this when it says, We know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. On occasion, we see immediate positive results from trials. But other times, we must wait months, years, or even until we reach heaven to fully understand what God was doing in those difficult circumstances.
Suffering and evil are inevitable parts of a fallen world. But we can be sure that God is in control of the universe, including the tiny corner we occupy. When He permits bad things to happen, we can be sure He will continue to provide comfort and guidance. He will shape us into the people He wants us to be. -

I just saw this topic and popped by to send my prayers....but what really astounded me is that the original post goes back as far as 2006.....WOW. Thoughtful Brenda started this wonderful chain of prayers and well wishes. I humbly add mine to all the "sisters" that are along this BC Journey. May you find strength in your God, love and joy in all things and hope and inspiration from all of your fellow BC Sisters.
Hugs and warm wishes
