praying every day for all of you and your families....

I keep one candle burning bright
Throughout the day and into night
Upon my mantle, facing east
To stay until all pain has ceased
A light of hope, midst times of woe
One’s inner strength found in the glow
When, otherwise, faith could be gone
Leaving no sense to carry on.

This candle, made of wax and string
A certain, yet straightforward thing
Provides a sense of peace within
Removed from all that might have been
Within the candle’s brilliant light
A flame forever burning bright
I see the roads ahead are pure
Paved with much joy and quite secure.


It is my wish that all will see
The guiding light which came to be
A blessing found within this flare
That stands for those in need of care
For broken souls who long for love –
A simple beacon from above
To last all day and into night
Within each candle, burning bright.

Trying to find a place where I can pray for all of our sisters. God please help us have a New Year full of peace, no pain, cures and happiness. If nothing else, let us have the comfort of Your presence walking alongside us. Happy New Year, all of my sisters. Virginia

Lord, we stand before having entered a New Year. I ask your blessings on all those that are suffering. Give peace and comfort to the newly diagnosed, strength for those facing surgeries, treatments and test. Walk with us on the difficult days, the days of our tears, our fears and the emotional turmoil that we face. Bless those searching for a cure and be with the families of those that we have lost as the face another year without having the presence of their loved one.

Thank you for all your blessings, we give you honor, glory and praise.
