The "Oldies and Goodies" know me from when this thread first started but have only had time to read in an effort to keep up for quite awhile now. Just wanted to say "hi" to all of our new CGs---you too Peter! Have always wanted to visit Australia (but we just returned from a month in Alaska and have to pay for that first!).

Charlene---enjoy your posts too. My kids are grown now but they were both very active in sports. I figured if we kept them busy they would be too tired to get into trouble! It's time well spent, believe me. (Hard to remember sometimes when you're standing there freezing/wet/broiling.)

Nicki---the next time you are invited to a pig roast you can do what Deb and her family do----they name their chickens but they have a limited selection to choose from----"lunch", "dinner", etc.

Hope all have a good day. Blistering hot and thunderstorms here. Think I'll drag out the sewing machine and play. My SO was always told as a child he had to weed the beans before he could go play with Ernie. My problem is I get so mired down by my beans that I forget to play with Ernie.

Oooops---welcome to you too Marsha! Have enjoyed reading posts from you too---and the pictures are great. I'm picture challenged myself and always have to send them to Vickie for her to post. It's always good to have a mental picture of the people you are talking to.

OK---NOW I'm going to go play with Ernie.

Nicki, cracking up at the pig picture. I couldn't eat it either when I went to a luau.

    Liz, have fun remodeling today.

Shirley, I have the black thumb with growing and if I can do it, you can. Except something is eating my mint (which I'm growing for mojitos) and I don't know what it is.....have to figure it out soon. Oh, you get your wish....weather is turning good now. Nice outside.

Charlene, my hubby and I were so involved in football that they wanted me to be the booster club president. The funny thing is (and I'm not stereotyping but it is true around here) that a certain South Pacific ethnicity are the most awesome football players and son's school was a football school, went to the championships every year. The kids on the team were not always the smartest but the varsity coach made sure they got whatever it took to play. The coach had told my son that if he practiced every day during the summer and twice a day during double days, he would have to sit out the first six weeks and then could play. After six weeks he told Ryan he couldn't play so Ryan dropped off the team. After that happened to Ryan, I dropped out of the booster club.

Lisa, I've had one of those picture frames for a few years and never even took it out of the box. I wonder if it has a flash drive in it - my sister works for the company that makes all those drives and memory cards...

Jankay, that's great that your daughter is in the HS marching band. A friend's son was when he was in school and he now is writing and recording his own music with his band.

    Back later.

I remember the earthquake of 89. We were in Southern Ca and my dd, Sarah, was very little. We saw the news and she said, "San Fransisco fall down." That has always stuck with me. We had a strong earthquake in 87 when I was pregnant with her and I was on a freeway onramp, so didn't feel it, but the people on the radio did and it got quiet because the dj was under the table! I didn't know what happened for awhile. I also knew I was having a C-section and was so nervous that we would have one while they were cutting me open. Such memories.

Thanks, Peter, only 8 days. I guess I'm feeling like I need to entertain them and that they will get bored. I offered to let them drive my car if they wanted to get out, but they said they were fine. We went to church and I have to do some laundry, then we'll go to Wally World to get some groceries. Not a banner day, but I guess ok. My dh so owes me, though, he's worked every day since they've been here!

I hope you all have a wonderful day. No pigs that look like pigs for me! I couldn't eat chicken for the longest time because it just looked too much like an animal. I love meat, just don't let it look real.

Well, I guess Im just gonna be a little piggy all day long. Even going to order some Chicago style pizza later and indulge!

My DH is sleeping off his hangover, and here I am just feeling great and enjoying a nice glass of red wine this fine afternoon.

I mentioned earlier, that the party was fun. It was a bit overwhelming because I was approached by so many people, I finially lost count. Everyone asked how I was doing - got tired of saying feeling great. One person came up to me a told me I was his hero! Lots of the usual questions "is everything ok now." "you look great now" - now mind you I havent seen many of them since before my surgery so that made me wonder what I looked like to them before all of this. The comments were endless, as towards the end I got tired of talking about it. Still havent found my groove -I tended to try and isolate myself even at the party. Spent alot of time in the pool swimming by myself. When inside, found myself sitting at a table where no one else was sitting. Many people there I liked, but didnt have the umph to go talk to them. But hey, at least I went.

SoCal: Im glad the chemo didnt hurt my liver. I sure do enjoy my wine and have really enjoyed it this whole time while I have been off of work. That picture of your grand son is adorable and one of the precious moments of life.

Jeannie: Wow this is so weird because I have been thinking about you this past week. Sure do remember you were from the original group. Thats when you were having your eye problem and you were so worried. And look at you one year later. Just puts a big smile on my face.

    image

Cheri: This whole pig thing. Man, makes me think I could easily become a vegetarian. Guess I have to buy my meet at the grocery store.

Well, I read everyones posts - but it appears the sandman just visited me and I need to go take a nap. See ya all later.

    Hello to everyone I missed.

Well thanks Nicki. I just figure there is so much going on here now that no one is going to notice if I'm among the missing.

About the eye thing---saw the eye surgeon 2 weeks ago. The mismatched prominence thing is about the same so he said to go get the cataracts fixed (I'm starting to walk into the furniture! :-) ) and then we'll talk about doing a little eyelid surgery to even things up! So it scared the living beejeebers out of me but I may get a lid lift out of it! See? If you look REALLY hard there's an up side to everything. The mass is still there but seems to be just puttering around---double vision if I look too far to the right or up so have just learned to turn my head.

Glad to hear you went to the party and enjoyed yourself. Know what you mean about the endless health reports though. I appreciate peoples' concern but the ones who pat me tenderly on the arm and look at me like I'm at death's door and ask "how ARE you?" in that sepulchral tone make me want to scream! Let's see----I can tell them that physically I'm doing well but the emotional load has made me mentally unstable---and then make my eye go all cockeyed and laugh maniacally----bwahaahaa.

But I ramble and digress... back to the sewing machine.

Good afternoon all. It's been a frustrating afternoon. I thought I had it figured out last night. I have a 2 min video clip of Ethan catching a catfish by himself and my dh taping it and talking excitedly in the background. Last night it to friends and family. Iris got it and also got all my pics in my album. But others only got a pic of him at the beginning of the video. Tried YouTube, too many MB. So, I thought it time I take a break! I can now see Ethan on my avatar since my friend Iris walked me through cleaning up my cookies and files.

My dh came home unexpectedly last night. He went to the garden and some of our sweet corn was ready. The ONLY thing as good as fresh home grown tomatoes in the summer is home grown corn on the cob. My little boys just love it and so do I. That butter running down to your elbow. Why is it all the really good stuff is messy...and usually requires salt & butter? Anyway, it's just the beginning of it that's why dh bought us a new little chest freezer. Good eats.

Speaking of good eatin'...I am from Mo. and very familiar with the 'pig in the ground.' Pig roasts, all the beer you can drink and pig you can eat. By the time I ever made it to the food table I'd had enough to drink that i didn't care. Usually they cooked it without the head. Made it much nicer. YEE-HAW! My Mother used to make the best Minced Meat pies. I was grown before I realized they were made from pig brains. I no longer eat minced meat pies.

Denise, congrats on getting a new printer. Yes, you missed this wonderful cartoon era of Spongebob...we even have the movie.

Deb, you were right. The cookies and files needed cleaned out of my computer and Ethans pic showed right up. Thanks.

Shirley, come on over for a visit and I'll feed you all the fresh tomatoes you can eat.

Peter, notice you went backwards thru the alphabet last time. Hmm.

Nicki, well I covered the pig roast already that I was going to tell you about. When little Kevin yells 'SHUT UP' to his beloved grandmother and stands & points his tiny finger at me, i do smile...um...more of a sneer actually. If I could ever just get hold of a piece of his clothing to catch him by his little bottom would get swatted and that would stop. I did finally make him stop hitting poor old grandma. I'm keeping my eye on him in case he turns into one of those kids that torment animals...cos we know how they end up. lol Ahh, he has his sweet moments. Ahem.

Marsha, bout darned time you poked your head outta that wagon. Who ya got stashed in there? Huummm

    Margaret, hey.

Charlene, sounds like you're raising a great kid. I used to love going to all Ambers games. She only played 1 yr of B-Ball the rest she was just a cheer leader but it was still fun.

Vickie, you've been much too busy lately. No time for fun on here and we can't have that. Rest up.

Iris, dear, dear friend. What would I do without you? I would've never gotten to see my new avatar. Thanks for walking me through the steps. Also, thanks for letting me test email Ethans clip to you. Not everyone would let me do that in the middle of the night. haha

Janny, did you have too much fun last night??

Mena, hope you're feeling better and you did well on your yard sale.

    Gina, thinking of you.

Sheri, sorry we trashed your house. We knew you'd understand. Right? you do understand?

My my. I lost count of the episodes I've sorta watched on TV today of Bonanza and Gunsmoke. There was sure some good-lookin cowpokes back in the day...had the whitest teeth, too.

Well, wishing all of you from Amy to Z a nice afternoon. I'll be back.

Jeannie - It's very nice meeting you! There is a lot to be said about keeping the kids so busy to keep them out of trouble! LOL Something tells me these women here never forget Anybody!

SoCal - Very fun indeed! Love the picture of your gs playing goalie, how adorable! Audrey just loves whenever they get their uniforms .. such a big deal to her!

Jankay - Very cool that Jessica is in marching band! I bet you're so proud of her.

Margaret - I understand now. That's a darn shame that happened to Ryan. Not fair of the coach to have done that.

Sheri - make sure your DH gives you whatever you desire after leaving you alone and working through all this! Not fair!

Cheri - ewwwww, is that Really what's in minced meat pies?? My grandma always made those and shoofly pies. Love the shoofly, could never get myself to like the minced meat. Oh yeah, nothing like sweet butter corn on the cob in the summertime!! Ava is approaching her terrible twos .. she wants to climb up on the chair and turn the thermostat the whole way up. Told her no and got her down today and she kept trying to do it again and again. Had a major crying fit and kept banging her head on things in anger! I remember Audrey's terrible twos started early and lasted through three years old. Oh nooooo here we go! lol She's still the sweetest thing though! I'm older and much more patient now then when Audrey was that age..hopefully it will make this period easier!

Nicki - I have a family reunion to go to Aug 4th and I'm a bit aprehensive about it. I Know I'm going to get the questions and the looks and not sure how I'll handle it. You sound like you did great and are happy you went.
I indulged in a nap myself this afternoon while my SO cleaned out the cupboards and folded my laundry. Maybe I'll have to do that more often! lol mmmm Pizza and wine ..sounds great!

    Good Morning to you Peter!

Must go find something for dinner, hope to be back on later!

Happy afternoon ladies. And I see Peter is up. Hi Peter happy monday to you. Been a lazy day on the home front. Watched Blood Diamonds this morning. Powerful movie. Kinda makes me want to throw away all my diamonds. Not that I'm dripping in them but you know what I mean. Hubby of course would frown on that so I'll keep they will stay in the jewelry box where they have been forever. Not much of a jewel wearing. Tho I do love tacky costume jewelry. So hubby decided to hang the monster chandelier out on the porch anyway. It looks so goofy out there. We are such dorks and turning into the clampetts more and more each day. Took a couple of pics. I'll post them as soon as I get them off the camera.

Jaz, if the insurance companies were paying the bills like they are supposed to the CEO's wouldn't get those multi-millions and then where would the poor guys be. They'd have to drive their own cars and live in suburbia just like the rest of us. That would just not be right.

Charlene, only my family thinks I'm obnoxious. All my friends adore me. hahahahhahahhahh. Yep heart surgery at 6. Was born with a defective ticker but wasn't strong enough as an infant to have it fixed. Works good now so I guess they fixed it right. glad Audry had a great time. That is what it is all about after all.

Hope everything is all spit shined and ready for a new week Madison.

Hi Jeannie, good to see you.

Socal, this frame doesn't have a slot for a flash drive. Only an SD card. Which is fine and dandy cause hubbys old camera used SD cards so we have a few of them around. Gonna load one up for daughter so it's a plug and play present.

Margaret, thanks for the vote of confidence. It's to late for planting vegis now isn't it? Never taken it out of the box? O my! I think they are so cool. Can't wait to see how it works.

Sheri, I lived in San Luis Obispo which is 3+ hours south of SF when that earthquake hit. We felt it there. Can't even imagine what it was like that day in the bay area.

Nicki, vacation calories do not count. Enjoy your pizza. I think you did great just by going to the party. I know how difficult social situations are for you. I've heard that dumb "you look good now" comment so many times it makes me want to be snippy. Once when I had just finished rads a good friend said it to me and I asked her "did I look that bad before", she said well the last couple of years you have been looking a bit weary. When I look at old pics I see she was right. Guess the beast was doing his nasty work on us and we didn't realize it, but it showed if someone really looked. Does that make sense?

jeannie, my daddy had cataract surgery a couple of years ago. His doctor did the lasix surgery at the same time. First time in 60 years he has not had to wear glasses. How trippy is that.

Cheri, I would so love to come eat fresh tomatos and corn with you. Cept I hate the sticky drippy part of it so I would eat them standing over the sink. Yuck on the minced meat pie. Thats just gross.

Charlene, can you send dinner my way. I'm hungry and don't want to cook.

Denise, yippee for meeting Suz. I so can't wait to meet everyone at PinkStock.

Hmmmm sounds like hubby changed the channel. I hear talking instead of car engines. Must check it out. Back in a bit.

    Hi everyone,

I know I’ll never catch up so I’m starting from this page. If I don’t mention you, it’s not because I don’t think of you.

Socal – what a precious picture. He’ll get the hang of it fast.

Nicki – I do miss my time here. I find that I am the same as you. I end up doing things or sitting by myself a lot. Good for you for going.

Jeannie – I remember you! Not sure I was posting during the time of your eye but am so glad things are better for you. Welcome home.

Cheri – oh you have made me so hungry for home grown things. Keep some and maybe in September I’ll make a trip to Missouri for a visit. It’s not that far away. I love tomatoes and corn. Eat some for me.

Shir – if I remember right (no promises – too frickin tired) but the Aredia can cause some aches. I remember Helen saying that I think.

Morning Peter! Hope you day is a grand one.

Charlene – ahh the terrible two’s. I do believe being older is a plus. Hang in there.

Denise – can’t wait to see the pics! I love hearing about CG’s meeting.

Madison and I will be meeting sometime next week. Can’t wait!

Okay kids – my body hurts in places I didn’t know could hurt. Got all the tape up and the first layer of spackle/mud. Waiting for it to dry and will do another coat tomorrow. I am done for the day.

Just need to tell you all how much I appreciate each and every one of you. I lurked for a long time before I jumped in and joined the circle. I’m so glad I did.

    Hugs and Prayers

Jeannie, of course you are missed. Glad to see you back to posting.

Cheri, ewwww and more ewwwww. Now I know why I never liked mince pies. Do love fresh corn on the cob though.

Lisa, darling grandson. I still haven't checked my digital picture frame. Will have to get it down.

Shirley, Blood Diamonds was a good movie. No, not too late I don't think - go buy the plants already started. There's a new car show starting on The Learning Channel - it's called Hard Shine or something - hubby had me set up the TIVO for the series.

Sheri, hubby was building a fence in the backyard when the earthquake hit. He could see the freeway overpass moving from our yard and was getting ready to run over there because he thought it was going to collapse.

Peter, hope you're having a good day.

Back later. Have to finish dinner - oven fried chicken (this is California, so it's lowfat), roasted sweet potatoes, spinach salad, maybe berries and whipped cream for dessert.

Oh, anyone want a Knifty Knitter? I give up.

If you all have problems eating roast pork if the head is still on I had better not start telling stories of some of the...shall we say...not available in most supermarket...dinners I have had

When I was about 10 we had steak while on vacation. I was so unfamiliar with beef that I thought it was spoiled. We grew up eating game meat of all kinds, so beef tasted weird to me…I almost spit it out.

A few years ago while I was living in Michigan I got in a conversation with a friend about Sand Hill Cranes. He was talking about how beautiful they are and how huge they look. I told him that yeah, they are big but a lot of it is leg…once you get the legs cut off they fit in the same size roasting pan as a turkey…and they are all dark meat and really yummy. His jaw just about dropped off. How was I to know that Sand Hill Cranes are a protected species in Michigan??? There are bazillions of them here and they are hunted just like ducks and geese. He was about to call the ASPCA on me or something…tooooo funny.

I guess food that tastes good is all in what you are use to. Jeannie is right though. We name the chickens we are going to eat things like Dinner, Soup, lunch….you get the idea. My kids know that things we really name, we don’t eat though….so they name all the laying chickens as soon as they hatch. That way I can’t butcher the extra roosters…LOL

Shirley---Hey---we are PEERS. Please don't tell me about your DAD's cataract surgery! I'm terribly young to need it, I keep telling myself! (Actually---your Dad and I are maybe closer in age than you and I but a girl can live in the land of denial, can't she?) (I'm 62...) They tell me they may try to correct the astigmatism with Lasik at the same time but haven't seen the specialist yet---if they do it will be the first time I can go without glasses since I was six! Did the correction last for your Dad? My sis had the cataract/Lasik proceedure done in her forties and it didn't last.

Cheri---pig brains?!?!? Yuck! All these years I thought it was minced raisins and suet. Doubt the suet is even in the commercial stuff. Please tell me it's minced raisins.....

    Good Evening CG&G’s

I hope everyone is having a beautiful Sunday evening before the workweek begins, I'm doing my best at calmly rolling into the week instead going in kicking and screaming. I am cleaning my patio and getting ready for the summer hang outs in the evening that I like so much.

I've been reading and trying to stay caught up on everybody and what is going on in their lives and I guess Summer is truly here because I am hearing about all these wonderful summer activities going on, love it, love it. Kids playing sports (SoCal – too cute goalie! And wow, Charlene, need a manager yet? Let me know). I love that a lot of my sisters are gardening (tomatoes remind me so much of my grandmother, I really miss her, it was one year ago last Tuesday) playing sports, partying and having such a great time. My dear boy is playing basketball and I am in basketball heaven, I love to watch him play, win or lose, he is such a smart player, he amazes me every time he takes the court, what is more amazing to me is that this is just fun for him, he wants to be a doctor (psychiatrist), so it's not like he's out there trying to show off like I see a lot of other kids doing, trying to get a contract, he just plays and he's good and I don't think he even knows how good he is. Ok, so much for the bragging mom.

I see that I wasn't the only sister to give up the dollars to see Transformers (I used to have a dog named Optimus Prime), I LOOOOOVED IT!! I am a big ole' goofy kid when it comes to stuff like that, Harry Potter next on the 11th and then the book on the 21st, I am in heaven, so much to look forward to.

I also see some of my dear sisters dealing with some tough health and general life issues and need hugs and support, we are here for you.

Tinkerbell: I am thinking of you and I hope things get figured out and resolved with your hands. I am holding them gently.

I have a dear sweet boy by the name of Joseph who is the son of my co-worker Simone who has a very rare cancer, he is 18 and is undergoing his first chemo on Tuesday, keep him in your thoughts please, I really love this kid, he’s a drummer and was just about to go on tour when the tumor on his spine took his arms and legs, they are coming back now and he’s even drumming a bit a now.

I’m with Margaret, anybody want a whole Knifty Knitter kit? Hand crochet is so much easier.

Cheri – I see Nathan, what a cutie!

Hi Peter, thank you for your kind words after my last post.

I thank everyone for the kind words.

Jeannie – Good to see you back and posting.

    Has anyone heard from Lini?

Nicki – I was a piggy all day yesterday, I had a hankering for Mexican style rice and that’s what I ate all day, and chicken.

To you all, whom I’ve come to cherish as family and friends Alwayshope, Amy, Anne, Bearlysane, Beth, Betty, Biker, Brenda, Cahterine H, Charlene, Cheri, Cherly Holt, CherylNC, Christine, Colleen, CY, Deb C, Denise, Doreen, Gina, Ginney, HollyAnn, Iris, Jan, Jas, Jeannie, Karen, Kristin, Laura, Lini, LisaE, Lizws, Madison, MargaretB, Marsha, Mena, Mizsissy, Nicki, Odalys, Pam, Puppy, Robin, Rondab, Shel, Sherndon, Shirley, Shokk, Sige, SoCalLisa, Sue, Suz, Theresa, Tracey, Tricia, Vickie, (Mama Jankay and Big Brother Peter), Tinkerbell (A to Me) and
    Joseph Makowski (my sweetie)

I would like to tell you that I finally figured it out that strength comes from the inside to the outside. I used to think that showing strength meant you were strong, WRONG – being strong mentally and spiritually is real strength, being strong in mind and spirit cannot be substituted for anything, and no one can take it away from you and it grows, sure there are setbacks, but once you start to feel it, it gets easier and easier to get back to the inner strength. I am hoping to only continue to grow in my mental and spiritual strength because, hey, I LIKE IT! And for my small disclaimer (Prozac works for me) LOL!

So in parting for the evening, I wish you all inner strength.

Oh, update on negotiations – we had picket captain meetings at all 7 SoCal local unions Thursday and we put together 1000 picket signs together on Friday, we are ready to go if these employers don’t get their shi* together and give us a good contract like, NOW. And for those who want to know what the main sticking point is, I bet you can guess, HEALTHCARE! Just let me tell you, with what the employers are proposing right now, if I had the package they are offering now as I was and am going through treatment for the bc, I would be bankrupt right now. The fight continues.

Take care my CG Beauties and Handsome Peter.

SoCal - your grandson is so cute. I love to see the little athletes. Steven started playing soccer when he was 4 and at times he would sit in the middle of the court to take a brake. LOL. "Que lindo son los niños." (kids are beautiful)

Charlene - I think it's great your daughter likes sports. My dad and sister are big baseball fans and wanted Steven to play so we enrolled him in little league. He did not care for baseball at all. He kept saying it was too boring and does not like all the waiting around for the ball. He played right field. So far soccer is his favorite.

Nikie - glad to see you went to a party and had a good time, even if you did not feel much like socializing. I know what you mean about all the questions. I hate them. One of the things I like about my new job is that most folks are unaware of my dx and I want to keep that way. It's my way of moving forward. Wow, your vacation is almost over. I sure hope you enjoy your last day off.

Peter - it's now Sunday night, you are 14 hours ahead of us...right? Technically, It's almost as if you live in the future but travel back in time to talk to us. How cool is that? Happy Monday morning to you.

Mena and Gina - I sure hope you are both feeling better.

Oops...I better log off before I loose my post. Just noticed the battery on this computer is running low.
We need to buy a new power cord, old one died.

    Good night everyone, pleasant dreams.

Evening all, just chilling before bed.

    Colleen, welcome back.

Jeannie, I had lasik eye surgery but I don't have the cataract issue. I had my eye surgery about 7 years ago. Love it. I don't even wear reading glasses.

CY, I've been to the Pike Place Market. What a gret place.

Z, Joseph is in the middle of the circle. It breaks my heart when cancer hits someone so young. I haven't learned how to knit or crochet either. May try that instead of the Knifty Knitter. What store do you work at? I think I toldyou that because hubby is a union man, I can't cross picket lines.

    Hi Cherryl, have fun unpacking.

Don't know if I'll be back on tonight but will walk around and tuck everyone in. Boot camp starts at 5:30 tomorrow - bought my yoga mat and running shoes today. Weights are in the car. Wish me luck.

Lisa---how long will you be here? Just land, grab the cars and go or would there be time to stop for a coffee or bite to eat?

A word of warning about Cooperstown----the parking is horrendous! Like there isn't any. Satellite lots on the edge of town so keep that in mind. You should set aside some time for the Farmer's Museum---fascinating place that I actually enjoy more than the Hall of Fame. Fenimore House is there too---the family home of James Fenimore Cooper.

I know I should be in bed since I have to be out the door with Audrey ready for soccer camp in the morning. I just can't help coming here to catch up with everybody! Just chilling with my daily glass of merlot.

Denise - I love the veggies too .. just don't have the patience to prep the beans! Nice whenever somebody gets to meet a sister! Looking forward to the pics!

Shirley - I'm glad they fixed your ticker! I only had to heat up leftover tuna noodles and green beans from yesterday. Hit the spot and no work! I hope you found something good for dinner! Sounds like Margarets was yummy!

Liz - I feel as you do. Joining this circle has been one of the most positive experiences I've ever had, even before BC.

Colleen - welcome home! Hope you get lots of rest. Looking forward to hearing about the reunion!

Deb - LMAO about the crane story! Reminded me of something. My brother had a bunny rabbit named Bugs when he was a teen. Eventually he had to find a home for him and gave him to our cousins whom one might refer to as rednecks. They live in the sticks. Love them to death! A few years later we were there for a family reunion and my brother asked how Bugs was. They told him he was delicious, not too tough, that kind of thing! They made rabbit stew out of him!!!!

Cy - So great seeing you post! If I didn't come here daily I'd be lost for sure! So sorry to hear of your pain and dizzyness. Please take care.

Z - From one bragging mom to another, that's so very cool about your son! Not everybody plays sports thinking they're going to be a pro, it's nice to just play for the pure joy of it! I think I have the inner strength you speak of...I'm trying to hold on to that!

Cherrl - so exciting to move to a new place! Congratulations and glad you're enjoying it!

Odalys - I understand your son being bored with baseball. Playing in the outfield especially when you're little doesn't see a whole lot of action! lol How old is Steven now? That's great that he plays soccer, Audrey does as well. Very popular sport these days!

Peter - I always wanted to do a sleep study! I never was a good sleeper. Are you doing this because of sleep problems you're having? Good luck, let us know how it goes!

Jankay - trying to upload an avatar? maybe your image is too large?

Vickie - hope you're getting some much needed rest. I need to go do that myself.

And on that note, sweet dreams to everyone from Amy - Z.

    Love & hugs,
    Charlene
