Dear Sisters,
The hours and days fly by in a fog. Next week is Craig's birthday and I smother with sorrow. I know He is with God, and I know God is faithful. I close on the sale of my house on Friday afternoon, and next Wednesday on the purchase of my new home. So many changes. I am trying to be strong, but seems it gets harder instead of easier. I cry every day. Maybe it is a good thing they have set me up with the psychiatrist next week. Praying for all of you ladies daily. My Miles is doing well at school and not anxious to come home at all. Can't blame him. Thank you so much for being here. Pam -
Dearest Pam,
I am so sorry the days have been so hard for you.
You and Miles remain in my prayers. I wish I had words to bring you comfort for your heart , Please know that I do care ~

Fixing to go close on the sale of my home. My stomach is in knots, but I know it has to be done. A friend of my son's just stopped by to visit me as she came back into town from college. We both cried sweet tears. I am going to try and go to the football game tonight. It will be difficult but I know my Craig would expect me to be there. I love you all so much and thank you for your prayers! Pam

Dear Sisters, It is so much more difficult tonight! I must tell you here something I cannot tell those closest to me here for fear of what they will think. In cleaning out my home to prepare for the move... I opened the cabinet door in the kitchen to make sure the cabinet was empty. At the top corner of the cabinet door, in green ink was my son's handwriting. It said simply "Craig was here. 1987 - 2006" I screamed. I cried out to God and begged him to help me. Did my son write this the day he died? Or did he (as my friend who was there suggested) just write it up there because he was going away to school. Tomorrow I sign on the new house and pick up the birthday flowers I ordered for his grave. I do not feel like I can bear it one more day. I know God is with me, and I know I am drowning in self pity... but please lift Miles and I up especially over the next few days. Pam

Dear Pam, the unknown always makes us wonder. Please do not torture yourself like this. Craig is always going to be with you, just think of it as a Gift, He left For You. not knowing what was to come. He has a new home now also, HIS IS HEAVEN. and someday , you can write on His House!!
