Pam,
My heart goes out to you. I lost my only brother in a similar tragedy. There is a group called Compassionate Friends who were a tremendous help to my parents. Everyone in this group has lost a child, sometimes more than one. There is no salve to ease this wound, only time will make some days easier than others. Not a day goes by that my brother doesn't come to mind and it's been over 20 yrs. Thinking of you. jt0703 -

Dear Friends, Others always look at me with curiosity when I mention my friends at breastcancer.org. How sad for them they do not have this fellowship. Of all the cards and flowers and calls I have received, it is here I have found the most comfort. Just like when first diagnosed with breast cancer... there are not hundreds of rude questions or inappropriate responses. Just love and support. I pray each day for all of you... all of us. You are my "other family" and it means so much for you to care. My own words cannot express to you my gratitude and love. Please know I am here for all of you as well. Selfishly, however, I pray for your continued support for awhile.... and your daily prayers for Miles and myself. I know that God has something really big in mind. I will not lie and say I am happy for it, but I am willing and I know he will honor my faithfulness. Tomorrow (or today since it is 3 am), I have an interview with a free lance writer who works in marketing at the local hospital here. As we all know, breast cancer awareness month is coming up in October and they are planning now for events. I have always looked forward to the opportunity to be an "ambassador" if you will for our cause and I hope this turns out well. I also go back on my Herceptin tomorrow. God is keeping me busy. Sorry for being so lengthy... but I love you all. Pam

Pam,
I know this will be comforting to talk about BC, you will not be happy for a while. I pray that you can find peace in this situation because you deserve that.
Another Hug sent your way! -
Pam,
Your courage touches me so much.
You are not being selfish, The Lord tells us to take all to him. You bless us by asking for prayers. I understand the loss of a child, not in the way
you have lost , I know the hurt is deep.
Good luck on your interview today and I am thinking of you.
You and Miles are in my prayers always Pam and I pray
the the pain will ease a little each passing day.
Hugs,
Carrie -
Donna, sorry to hear about your loss too. My brother was engaged to a woman whose sister was murdered. I had met the girl and she was a beautiful 30-year old. Years later the guy's mother turned him in. It turned out to be her roommate's boyfriend.

Dear Friends, Thank you so much for your prayers and support. Trying to take one day at a time. So glad to have Miles back home, but we still are struggling with communication.. I ask God to please help me deal with those well meaning idiots who can be so insensitive. And for strength with getting house cleaned out to move and sell. Bright spot.... only 3 more herceptin treatments to go! Love you all, Pam
-
Sorry for your loss. take care of yourself.

Praying for you and Miles Pam, that each day God will bring you comfort and strength
