hey Ravdeb!
what time is it now in Israel? We tend to post at the same time, when all the US girls are still sleeping...
thanks for the compliment, i saw your pics in the other thread - lovely. I remember when i spent that one year in Israel (1991), there was a snowfall in Jerusalem, apparently a very rare thing to happen. I still have a photo somewhere of me standing knee deep in snow with beautiful flowers on the wall behind me! -
Have to go a long way to beat the pants on the head pic!
-
ok girls,
I have put together an album with my hair growth pics..
check it out and let me know what you think.

Great album! You've got such nice hair that it will truly inspire others and ease the new chemo ladies' minds.
GREAT! And definitely beats my pants!
As I write this, Paula..it's 3:51 pm my time. I think we are many hours apart. -
By the way, you should go to the pics site. Paula has some amazing pictures there. So does Debbie!
And now that I've learned to use my camera and post pictures..the sky is the limit (and not the panties!) -
For those who missed this one...:-) -
Gosh - i think i can actually see it growing!!
-
Here's the road leading out of "my" beach. Leads in, too! And it's a magnificent drive coming in, but not for the message boards. You'll just have to come so I can prove it to you!
-
As you enter you see "my" aquaduct. I really do feel like it's mine....
-
Love that guy, Victoria!
-
Hi Ladies!
Maryanne - you will want to be at home once you start taking the meds for the colonoscopy. TRUST ME on this one. I finally just moved everything into the bathroom and sat in there for a few hours.....
OK Ladies, more on the Pomegranate front! Check Albertson's or Safeway for POM Fresh Pomegranate Arils. They come in a small bowl and they are just the Arils (seeds) from the Pomegranates. YAY - no cleaning of the actual fruit!!! And they are REALLY GOOD!!! The price is about the same as buying two pomegranates and no work involved. This was the treasure that Dave found at the grocery yesterday. He is hot on the pomegranate trail - we try a different brand/flavor of the juice every night with dinner.
I am SO GLAD it is Friday! The guys from India that we have been training for the last 7 weeks are going home tomorrow. They have learned our jobs very quickly, now I guess we will see if they can actually do it from 1/2 way around the world. It is a very bittersweet situation as they are replacing some of our co-workers that we love and will miss. But these guys (the India guys) are very sweet, funny and darn cute. It is hard to feel any animosity toward them.
Busy weekend for Tracy & Dave coming up! We are pretty much inseparable now! I have stayed at his house the last couple of nights. He gets up at 4am and fixes me a hot breakfast before I leave for work! **sigh** I am getting SO SPOILED!
Well, as usual, I am at work and have to run. I just love that we are all living our lives and sharing them with each other! Much, much better than last year! -
Kelly -
Loved the dancers - thank you!
EVERYONE -
B9 - I'm doin' fine! Thanks again...for everything!
Victoria -
Sammie...unbearable at times...hope you can find some comfort in the precious memories.
Laura -
Tracey - you deserve to be spoilt.
As for Sam - i think he is getting spoilt. I was at the vets panicking about him not eating and today he has eaten 2 cans of tuna and 1/4 lb neat bits from the deli. Lost him today and he was asleep on our bed! Hmmmmm
Debbie -
Paula -
Awesome hair album! The video was great too!
Laura -
How sweet, Debbie..on your bed. I would have loved to see my cats or dog on my bed. My dh would have divorced me.
Tracy...Inseparable?? Sounds wonderful! I've forgotten what new love is like. You are experiencing and I'm excited just hearing about it! Breakfast ready at 4 am! This guy I like! My dh is still trying to figure out what kind of coffee I drink...
However, he does know what kind of wine I drink!
I love my beach, Victoria! -
He isnt supposed to be on my bed ! When he is well he has a blanket which covers our bed which he is allowed to sit on , otherwise he cant see anything out of the window. Now i have to strip the bed as he actually has his head on Rogers pillow!
-
Seems as if I have been gone forever-Had Surgery on Oct 24th then went to stay with my daughter to recover--no computer-I am doing great and will go back to work half days next week. Will take me awhile to catch up on all the posts but will do so over the weekend, just wanted to say hi to all-- by the way I was 47 at diagnosis

As long as we are in the party mode..let's have a grand old celebration this weekend and keep maryanne from getting too lonely!!
Okay girls...
I'm starting
MARYANNE'S GRAND OLD CELEBRATION WEEKEND
Maryanne -
I'm sending
an incredibly plush,
perfectly plump,
6' tall,
warm and mushy
teddy bear
for you to sleep with!
Laura -
Gouda and genever! It is a party!
-
Sherry -
We have been wondering about you! Glad to hear everything went well. Keep getting better!
Laura -
Yay! Sherry's back! And just in time for the PARTY!!!
Glad to hear you are doing well!!
Debbie...how CUTE that you put something on your bed so Sam can look out the window. My dh would STILL be asking for a divorce with that! He's ready to kick me out when my poor Casey pees in the laundry room where she has a nice bed. (If it were MY choice) she'd be sleeping right beside me!). Poor thing is about 16 years old and can't control herself all night long anymore. She and I walk alike, too..hobbly! -
Here's some stuff to color with, maryanne! Have fun! -
Maryanne -
My little guy has two names too! Buddy Love
A smooch from my pooch...Buddy Love sends you sweet little Maltese kisses (don't worry, we have his teeth cleaned regularly): -
Laura..he is sooooooooooo cute!
I think we need some music! -
And Chocolate!!! I am bringing the Brownies!!!!
Chick Flicks too - How about Legally Blonde? That one is always funny! -
-
hey Guys I needed this party. It is cold and windy and wet tonight. I spent 2 hours cleaning the house after work and could continue all weekend...As I spent every weekend at the cottage since May, the house has been a little neglected. I think I will go pour myself agin and tomic and get some leftover Halloween treats.
Paula, your new hair page is great, did you make a post? Yikes that song you posted was depressing, she was not a happy woman. Hope she is in a better place now.
I have followed Leannes story too. She had to fight to get Herceptin in Australia, then had all that marital grief. I am delighted she is getting good news but ....I would be so pisssed about the error. She went through all that chemo, had numerous hospital stays, stressed her family and for nothing! I know she is happy but you have to wonder how she is not really angry too.
TracySeattle, My first laxative is supposed to be at 0800, most of my work gets doen before noon. So I am going to cheat...and take my pill at 1200. I will follow all else they suggest. The day of the procedure I have booked off. I sometimes feel I am superwoman and can tolerate more than the next person but why torture myself? I will be weak from no food and a liquid diet from the day before. Right about now I am wondering why I ever told my doc about my symptoms.
Tracy, that man is a keeper. My ex went back to sleep when I was in labour the first time...my DH and I always have breakfast together(when we are in the same countryLOL). And he brings my coffee to the bed on the weekends-5 years into the marriage.
Laura my DH is Swiss from Basel, which borders France. Europe is such a beautiful place! I am hoping to visit DH in Feb or March. Something to look forward to.
Sherry so good to have you back. You will have to tell us all about your surgery.
Laura, my DH is 6'5" and warm and hard LOL.But, I appreciate you spicing up my Friday night! Cola, my Lab will be sure to give me some huge, wet, slobbery kisses tonight too.
Thanks for the music, book, and food. Boy I feel a diet coming on after this weekend.
Fists up! -
I'll bring the music! Isnt he just beautiful!
-
Debbie , is he for my bed or just for the music?
Fists up! -
Victoria -
Buddy wants to meet Chloe. He thinks she's a doll.
maryanne -
