PINKSTOCK 2008

Hello everyone.  It's getting really close.  I finally put in for my vacation time.  I'm hoping to take off Wednesday so we can drive up.  It would be nice to do some sight seeing wihile up there.  On our way back we want to visit Steven's friend in Maryland.  We're so excited!!!  Boss said she would let me know by Monday.   Geeze....the suspense is killing us.  I can't wait to meet everyone.  Finally, a face to the name.   

I started setting things out to pack today. I talked to my dad and the family gathering is getting as big as Pinkstock. Looks like I am going to get to attend to great parties.

I am so sad that we are not going to able to meet this year, but I know you will be there in spirit!!

An ALASKA package, hmm?  Can't wait to see what is inside!!

I'm still planning on attending with the baby girl, hopefully arriving Friday afternoon (we'll have to leave late morning on Sunday). All I need to do is book the rental car and get someone's phone number in case we get lost.

Sorry you won't be there in person this year, Deb, but you'll definitely be there in spirit! Ya got a web cam maybe???  

Hey MB.........glad you enjoyed your 'vacation'...............DH and I are driving so let me know if there is anything we can bring....(except chairs, cuz we are the proud owner of 2 folding chairs!)  We'll do like last year and buy water and some munchies once we get there.................

I would like to see who is coming for sure also!!  I know DebC was asking cuz she is sending a package from Alaska......................sure wish she was in the package!

For Heavens Sake.....................don't worry about pulling weeds...................your yard won't be the same anyhow once we 'decend' upon it!

Well, all I have to do really is book my rental car and then get on a plane! I just need to make sure there aren't any cats in the house? Pink is fine - we like all colors! Is there a grocery store nearby? I can only pack much in my bag and haul it along with a toddler and a car seat!

 I am leaving in the morning. Flying into Detroit first and then on to Binghamton. I have everything laid out and ready to pack but felt like taking a break.

MB - I'm still not sure if I can make it.  My boss has not approved the time off yet.  She keeps giving me the run-a-round.  If I don't get the time off, I want to fly in but it may only be Steven and I because DH does not want to fly.  He had such a bad experience flying out of Ft. Lauderdale that refuses to fly now.  Did you say you have a camper for us?  That couldn't have been cheap, please pm me how much money I owe you.  Even if I can't make it I want to pay for the expense of renting the camper.  Man I'm getting so excited about this trip and would be so upset if they don't grant me the time off.  Anyway, I'll keep you posted.

 Box of treats - are we talking about food and beverages?  I'm at a loss for idea right now.  I would appreciate if someone could PM some suggestions.  My creativity is a little on the low side right now.

Oh my gosh, just saw this and wish I could go but I am in Texas and there is just no way.  maybe this will be happen again next year and my family can attend.

Hey MB...I see you graduated from "nut" on the hill to "crazy Woman" on the hill....LOL

You have two boxes winging their way to your hose.  One is coming from me here in Ak, and one is coming from a mail order company.  Just wanted to give you a heads-up
