Hi Madison,
Give everyone a hug for me. So glad Brenda and R. arrived safely ... been thinking about them all day.

Bren

Has anyone heard from Odalys and family?.........Wonder where they are along their journey.........Shokk
-
Shokk - thanks for checking up on us. We drove over 700 miles and made it as far as North Carolina. We are tired but are enjoying the road trip thus far. I can't wait to meet everyone tomorrow. DH is taking a short cut to reduce the number of miles and hours on the road....gulp! I hope we can find MB's house.
MB - we may need smoke signals after all. LOL
Sending a big hug to everyone. See you all tomorrow.
-

Hugs,
Neesie
-
We're leaving in 15 minutes. Should be on the road before 9:00 a.m. New York time. The kids are excited to meet all the other kids. We should roll in by 1:00 or so. See you there!
-
Hope everyone arrives safely and I know you will all have a fantastic time.
-
We are dragging dragging out the door by 10 am. Hope to be there this evening unless we poop out and spend the night a hotel. We're are so excite and we just can't hide it......................
See you soon.
-
Well, we won't be able to make it after all.
I have a leak in my roof which I had to have looked at today and will (hopefully) be fixed tomorrow, if it doesn't rain again! The damage to the drywall isn't too bad and should not need repair but who knows. Unfortunately, my house always imposes on my leisure time and bank account.
I'll be there in spirit - can't wait to see pics!!!
-
I think we may have just passed Dee and Valerie coming from Vickie's. There was a NOLA sticker on the back of the car. We are almost there.
-
Wow, you ladies have fun!!!!
Post lots and pictures are a must.....if you cant get your pics posted from the "Hill" feel free to send them to me at jpann39@hotmail.com and I would be happy to post them for you...if you do this please put Pinkstock in the subject line so my anti-software doesnt delete you...
Have enough fun for all of us that are wishing we could be there!!!!!
Hugs

Vickie, Valerie and guest arrived around lunch, BMD and family arrived a bit later and then Neesie and her DH. Has been wonderful to meet everyone. I traveled hours and it has been well worth the trip.
More to arrive tomorrow so lots of pictures.
Janis sorry that you can't make it.
Nite everyone, pictures tomorrow.
-
So good to hear everyone has arrived safely. Janis, don't you have crap like that? Hope you get things fixed quickly.
MB will read you guys something most likely sometime this evening from me. A little something from my heart since I couldn't be there.
Enjoy!!!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful time by the fire last night and really good thunder and lightening storm before breakfast. The weather is perfect. Odalys, dh and ds showed up after I went to bed. I hear those that were up had to go in the road and flash lights to get her attention. It worked. Some of the men are headed to the car show in a few and we are waiting for the crochet crowd to arrive this morning. I am going to up load some photos in a few.

Hi Everybody,
Barb just got to Pinkstock!! Brenda (Naniam) just called me ... I talked to Barb, Odalys, Val, Neesie, Vickie, BMD, Madison, MB, Kristin ... everyone. Still waiting for Blue to arrive.Everyone sounds so wonderful. They all have different accents!! Madison is very southern and kind, Odalys was fun, with a little Cuban lilt to her voice, talking to Val was like talking to a friend you've known forever, Neesie was just like her posts, Vickie was sweet as ever, Barb was a hoot ... said she'd have a beer for me, and BMD chatted like an old friend.
They were just getting ready for a group photo, the kids had just finished their scavenger hunt and the weather has been beautiful. The cell phone reception up there isn't that great though. So, I guess we'll have to wait on pictures until some of the gals get back to their hotels or they get home.Liz ... hope you're feeling okay and resting comfortably.
love,
Bren

Just had to tell you guys........ with a clear sky a beautiful rainbow appeared at Pinkstock. I knew CY would be there. It not only was there once, but twice (think Ferne showed up as well). What a wonderful experience it was for all the girls. Many tears were shed (including mine). Concert is wonderful everyone said and they are having a wonderful time.
Hugs
-
Hey girls -
I just got off the phone with the pinkstock crew. Had a good laugh and a good cry about the rainbows....Love all of you

Maybe it's the sparkles coming off Cy & Ferne's wings as they flew in to say hey to y'all! I know CY told me in February that she "was going to make it to pinkstock, no matter what!" Looks as if she kept her promise...
Wish I could have come to meet you all... you were so good to my sis, you should have seen how she lit up when she talked about you all and all of the shinanigins.
I hope you are all enjoying yourself and I am so glad you are getting this time to get to know one another better.
-
Big Hugs Charlie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Talk with you soon......

We are on our way back to my sister's. What an amazing week-end. Not only did we see the rainbow but just then Kristin's band starting singing my favorite song of all time, "Amazing Grace". Lots of hugs and tears then.
MB and her family were wonderful. The food, accommodations, fun and friendship where just a few of the wonderful things they did for us. I just can't describe the joy I feel having meet them and everyone else.
I know I promised lots of pictures and I will get them loaded soon. There were cameras flashing all over the place so I am sure the pics from others will be along soon. I still need to get my pics into photobucket.
The music was so perfect for the event. If you haven't purchased Kristin's CD yet you should. The band drove all the way from New Jersey just to play for us. I loved it as did everyone else.
What a way to end my vacation. It has really been one of the best times of my life.
-
Those of us who were unable to attend (me included!) are so glad that the weekend was a success! It sounded wonderful, and I am so glad that so many were able to attend. Can't wait to see the pictures, and I hope you all didn't wear down MB toooo much, so she "might" be persuaded into doing this again next year! I would love to be there sometime!!!

Another Pinkstocker has made it home! We arrived safely and had a wonderful time....MB and family are great Host's!
I'll write more later....just checking in to let you know we are home!...............................
The RAINBOW................No words to describe that................unbelievable! And we do have pics of it.................Vickie had the 'big' camera, so hopefully her's will be real clear. Blue sky with white clouds, no rain, and here is this rainbow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then like BMD said............Kristen and her group did not even know about the rainbow and they started playing, "Amazing Grace"...............
Neesie
-
Okay friends.............this isn't the best picture, but here is 'our rainbow'..............
Neesie
