I wonder why my packages take so long to travel? When I sent one to MaryBeth, it took a long time too? mmmmmmmmmmmmm....things that make you go mmmmmmmmmmmmm!
-
Also, I was given alot of "baby blanket yarn". Wondering if we need to make a afghan specifically for a young person? I don't know anyone but should I start using the yarn for squares?
-
Beautiful, Beautiful, Wonderful Hugaghans!!!!!!!!!!!! 3 in one week, Madison??????
Does anybody need squares??

I'm slacking I know. I have one almost finished - just need to border the whole thing. I promise to work on it tomorrow night. My boss is going out of town so I'm freaking out at the prospect of doing some things I haven't done before. I need to crochet instead of nibble.
Madison - absolutely wonderful. Thanks for working so hard on these.
Hugs

LORI you can use the baby yarn for squares. If it is real thin then use two strands. I have done this for baby afghans and it gives a nice spongy feel, cushion like.
Hope all are having a happy and good yarn!

Hi everybody, happy Independence Day! This is a yarn alert again -- Joann.com has free shipping (no minimum) through Sunday. Caron 1 lb yarn is also on sale again. That feeling is coming over me.....
My local Michael's only carries a few colors in this yarn so I am wanting some more variety in my stash.
I just finished a hat in Red Heart variegated "Painted Desert". It looked really nice in the skein but I was disappointed at the variegation in the hat. I'm finishing out that skein with some afghan squares and they look better for some reason (garter stitch vs stockinette I guess.) -- MB, I will probably get one more box ready to send you before Pinkstock so you can all share.
Love all the afghan pictures, they are all so pretty and every one is unique.
-
thanks for the tip...I will use the baby yarn!
-
Yes Lori, use that yarn..I am so slack but have a personal rule..10 rows or 15 minutes a day for our quilts. Hey once you get started..it is too awesome to stop.If I miss a day
ooops
then I have to give my owed minutes. Once I get started..it is too much fun to stop..
Once these wonderful ladies post pictures of the quilts they piece together from our efforts..
My heart sings.. My fingers are inspired again.. The hearts we touch, the comforting wraps we give is AWESOME..
As long as there is Need ..we have Needles..
How perfect.. Jacqui

Hello Ladies,
Mom received a beautiful hugaghan in the mail today. Mom wanted to thank all of you who had a hand in creating such a beautiful hugaghan. She has it on her bed right now. She wants you all to know that the card was very touching and made her cry (it made me cry as well).
I can't say enough wonderful things about all of ladies I have met on this board. You all have such wonderful hearts. I love all of you!
The hugaghan picture that liz posted above on July 9th is actually the one mom received!
Hugs,
Crystal
