Lingerie on a first date?

CUTE! I love that long sleeved one, but I totally think I would get all hot and sweaty and twisted in it, even before having sex.
I also like the all the ones after them-they all look like something I'd be able to pull off. Ha ha...no pun intended there.....anyway, that last one is very sexy!
I'm going to check it out now! Thank you, dear Marin! You rule!
-
PS-I also think the second one is hot looking, too, but I have no idea if I'd be able to wear it!
I'm such a t-shirt and flannel pants kinda girl.
-
If it wasn't a special occasion, but you still wanted to spruce up your flannel pants and a t-shirt...
I like a pair of over sized soft pj bottoms, and I roll the waist band and let them sit super low on my waist. Then either wear a tight white wife beater tank top, or a tight white stretchy soft cotton clingy t-shirt. You can get them at Target, and the Gap ( in warm weather) or at Gap Body stores. They are almost see through the fabric is super light.
with the pants rolled lower down on your waist, the shirt hangs longer, giving your abdomen a longer leaner look to it, and showing off the curve of your hip.
So on the nights that aren't a victorias secret kind of night, but you think you might want to stir up a little action-- go for the pants and white top... it's my signature bed wear. LOL.

I love the idea, Beth!
I looked at VS online, and found some really cute stuff. I'm always a little skittish about wearing the matching panties that come with those little frocks. I always feel like my arse is hanging out. -
I have the gray long-sleeved one in black. Just wish I had a good reason to traipse around in it.....
I think I'm going to see Mr. Great Sex after a very looooong time this Saturday night? That is, if I get back home from Atlanta and manage to drive into and then dig out of my driveway. I SO need to get laid!
-
Janis...Are you already working for the airlines? If so, you really could have a guy in every port! I guess for now though, the one hot one will do....
Deb, please tell us if/when you select a sexy bit 'o nuthin. And how bout a pic too?
So Beth, you make the pj's and wife beater/t-shirt sound so comfy and sexy. I actually get the sexy look, but don't think I could do the pants...I hate to sleep with even panties on. Maybe the outfit is for pre-bedtime and, if sexy enough, should end up on the floor anyway, huh?

Update on Janis' sex life: (beware, this is boring!)
Saw Mr. Wonderful last night as he picked me up from the airport.
Well, this was only his 2nd time at my house (the 1st was NYE/NYD) and it seems he's allergic to my dogs! He wasn't congested when he got here but developed stuffiness shortly thereafter, both times!
He tried to stay the night (yes, the sex was "incredible" as he puts it)
but by 5 a.m. after no real sleep he left. This will NOT work if I have to go to his house all the time because I just won't be able to. I like him a lot but, unfortunately, I just don't see this going anywhere...
On an up note, I seem to be 'noticing' men more lately. Actually, looking at them and not exactly having extreme sex thoughts but thinking how I might be 'interested' in them. Maybe that's the same thing??? Is it because I didn't see Mr. Wonderful for 3 weeks or is it because I really like the idea of "a man is every port?"
Just before our day ended Friday my class was mingling with a new-hire 'speaker' (language of destination) class and I had fun talking to (flirting with?) two nice Jewish men!
Unfortunately they'll both be based in Atlanta and I'll be in New York but the one said I needed to go to Tel Aviv and I said I'd try to! (been there once, a long time ago) They 'graduate' next Friday so I'm hoping I'll see them again before then!
So, I'll be back in Atlanta all next week and if I pass all my tests and re-qualification drills then I'll be in NYC March 2nd!
-
What's that you say? NYC 3-2-08? Hmmm, do I smell a get together for drinks?
-
Beth, I'll know my schedule on Feb 22nd. I'm going to spend as little time in NY as possible but there will be times when I'll have to be there, and not home, so a get-together is definitely possible! I'll PM you around then with info on where I'm staying.

Tee-hee, I'm a new member and getting quite a hoot out of Marin. I also laugh at your reference to POF. It's been a good site for me prior to the cancer - just diagnosed 12/30/07. Now I have absolute no desire for sex - Ovarian Cancer (should I be here?) But I did meet one guy and since we before cancer, I'm comfortable around him enough to allow him to see me bald (lost it all after 1st chemo) and I was even beginning to have feelings for him, as he for I. It's all changed now...I don't know why.
-
LondaLou....I'm glad I can make you smile! It sounds like the change in your relationship with this guy since your dx. has you feeling confused and sad? We see alot of guys react like this and sometimes they eventually come around. It helps if you have a strong sense of where you stand with your disease (not prognosis, but how you fit it all into your self-image, etc.) because the guys can then take their clues from how you treate yourself. At least that's the way it seems to me.
