    You guys are soooooo funny! "the face for short hair" I forgot that one!!!

    I don't think I need to worry about it anymore. At least not with those friends. I doubt anyone will ever bring up my hair again!!!

    Bugs, I don't have chemo hair really. I mean, it seems healthy and it's pretty even all over. I was real low maintenence before, wash and wear (curly) and I cut it myself. Never got it colored until chemo either. I don't even know a stylist plus.....there is no way I'm cutting any!!!

    Marin, Do you tan in a tanning booth????

    Y'all are just too sweet and I think hangin' out with you is a great idea!!

    Here's a sweet follow-up on the lingerie issue...I just got an email from J (architect guy). He had been straightening up and found my black satin & lace cami top. Said he had an immediate physical response (used the term "at full salute", if you get my meaning Wink).

    Niiiiiice!

    It's almost Friday, so I'll be planning this weekend's lingerie (and outerwear of course!) tonight. We're going to a live music club in downtown Raleigh (our version of "the city") and then, hopefully, directly home to bed! I can't wait to see him again. He says that he's aching so much to kiss me and that I'd better be prepared. Oh, I am!!!!!

    OH Marin, I totally feel like I read a sex novel, too.  

    Good lord, on the vanity and then he made you pancakes.  What a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man!!!!!!   

    He kind of sounds like Greg was when we first became intimate.  Greg is an engineer, and therefore very slow and detailed oriented when it comes to lovemaking.  I had never had anything like that before, so it was amazing.

    Wow, Deb, I hadn't thought of it before you said what you did about Greg being an engineer and linking that to his slow, attention-to-detailed lovemaking. That's exactly how it is with J...and he's an architect and very deliberate and detail-oriented. But he was also a race car driver SurprisedUndecided ....I'm glad he stuck with architecture!

    I wish there was an icon of a smiley rolling on the floor laughing his head off.    Yep, a race car driver certainly would be a huge difference to an architect's approach, wouldn't it? 

    We never had an early bedtime last night like I had planned.  We instead went to buy a new washing machine.  Bleech.  Frown

    So, I've been eyeing this litle babydoll nightgown for awhile now and am about to add it to my "Favorites." I'm on a severe financial diet, as some of you know, but this is haunting me! So I'm putting in a link and now only need come here to look at it Laughing!

     

    What do you all think? I'm not sure if I like the red or would prefer it in white (in my fantasy, of course!)?

    I also thought it would be fun if everyone who'd like to would post a pic or link to a pic of their "fantasy" nightwear or sexy outfit. We'd get to see each other's tastes and get some new ideas as well! How 'bout it, y'all? Let the fashion show begin!

    Those ARE nice, Beth! I've never been to that site before. I love the black & red number (where the model is wearing the long black gloves). And how 'bout the "Liquid Metal"? The "Street Wear" is interesting...and could get you arrested! The "crotchless" outfit reminded me of the Victoria's Secret catalog I received yesterday. VS is now making crotchless panties and open bras, but in the interests of staying discreet or more nice-than-naughty, I guess, they call the items "peek-a-boo" or open. Not a whisper of them being "crotchless" anywhere. Innocent

    I had a pair of crotchless panties back in the day.  They were really pretty on the hanger.  They were white, and the design was like a butterfly with some beaded work, then you've got the two elastic bands, where your ve jay jay goes inbetween.

    Honestly, I just couldn't get into them.  They look weird, and I think they feel weird.  I once had a boyfriend that went commando, and he encouraged me to do the same.  I was stupid and in college, so I figured what the hell I'll give it a try.  At that time in my life, even when I wore underwear, they were g strings, that looked like floss anyway...BUT, the idea of not having anything underneath my precious parts really skeeved me out.

    The crotchless panty thing just doesn't do it for me.  I went through that phase back then.  One time, I ordered a full black lace body stocking, with a "peek a boo" crotch.  That one was cool, because I had a dress over it, and people thought I was wearing pretty stockings.  Me and my guy snuck downstairs for a quickie on the dryer, when no one was looking.  Gosh, I almost forgot that I ever did that. 

    Now, I'm more into a crotch.  There's something really sexy, about keeping you panties on, and having your man slide them to the side or use them to tease you when he's going down on you.  Okay, a little TMI, that should probably be on the mojo thread... but I'm all about the crotches.

    I feel the same about crotchless panties as I do about the cutout bras.  Not that I wear bras anymore, anyway Foot in mouthUndecidedYell, but I just like the feeling of being "secure."  

    I really have been trying to be more creative since my mast., but I really want to shock the hell out of dh on our anniversary,and wear something WILD. 

    How 'bout you guys pick something for me.  Something totally vixen, sexy, something I will feel totally comfy in.....ok, I know that part won't happen.......

    Ok, I'm up for suggestions.   I'm a size 12 to give you an idea of my build.  Hopin' to be down to a 10 by April 13th (anniversary)!!  (Yay, Jenny Craig!  Way to help me with my enormous food addiction and giant weight gain since my tumultuous last 3 months!).

    What I've learned, is that I do not, and probably will never have a slammin body.  Right now, I'm not even close.

    I look way hot in a size 8.  I have a very broad build, and by no means am I petite.  Before cancer at my best weight and healthiest I wore an 8.

    Now, I am rockin a 12.  I know, its freaking terrible, but I'm also gonna do something about it- like getting my ass back into a gym, b/c I REFUSE to buy new clothes beyond what's absolutely necessary for work.

    But the thing about wearing lingerie, when your body is not in peak shape, is owning what you wear, adjusting the lighting of the room, and looking at how you work the outfit from different angles in the mirror.  Adding heels is not only so sexy, but will make you look thinner.  Even keeping the heels on, after the clothing comes off is way sexy.

    Candle lit rooms, or very dim lighting will also help to camoflauge trouble spots.

    Also, I just finished reading this article in cosmo (omg, so cheesy I know. but i was on the plane and needed something) they said that when your man is hard and gets going, that the endorphins and what ever else kick in and his mind is fascinated with your body-- that its VERY UNLIKELY he would be thinking oh, she's got a fat roll over there. 

    So once you get going, DO NOT let your mind wander into thinking, what do I look like in this position, b/c that will ruin it for you, and he's not concerned... so go with it.

    I think another element of surprise-- if you're worried about lingerie, is the coverup-- I know some people like boa's... thats not my thing. But a long black or red silk robe (I swear they have them at Target!) will conceal whats going on underneath, and give your guy a big tease.  Plus, silk feels sooooo good.  Then you could give him a little flash of the goods.

    OR, you could lay the outfit out on the bed, and take a picture of it, and email it to him, and then tell him this is what he has to look fwd to when he gets home...

    that way you dont risk your naked pics being on the net... and it's still super sexy

    That blue thing is super hot.

    I can't do thigh highs, b/c it always makes the top of my thigh look like a muffin b/c the bands on the thigh highs are usually so tight to keep them up.  Okay, maybe not a muffin top-- but fat never the less.

    In spirit of the superbowl, I was thinking tonight about wearing just a jersey...I guess we'll have to wait to see who wins.

    Again, my "foobs" (fake boobs) won't hold that kind of thing up!   I feel so restricted in my sexy wear.  I like the jersey idea-super cute!

    Go for it, Beth!  I came up with that term when my boobs were first "put in," and I was a bit loopy from the drugs.  Instead of saying "fake boobs," like I intended, I slipped up my words. 

    It totally stuck, and I refer to my foobs as such all the time!

    Wow, Lisa, that teddy is definitely hot! And the high thighs are slimming too...well, as long as the hips have room or you will have overflow, as Beth points out.

    Deb, I'm not getting why your "foobs" won't hold anything up...can you explain? How would you look in a non-sculpted bodice, like the one in that strappy thing in the pic I posted? There must be something sexy that would work for you....we'll have to put on our thinking caps...or thinking boas or something Wink!

    I have my V Day lingerie selected and will be wearing a bright red satin corset with straps and lace and tiny hooks & eyes....and certainly garters! Black stockings and black heels, of course! Now I have to decide what to wear over this stuff because I'd like to unveil it from regular garb. How about a trench coat? Is that too sleazy?

    I love the trenchcoat idea, Marin!   How totally vixen-ish of you.  

    My surrogate Mom told me once that I needed to greet Greg at the door after he comes home from work wearing an apron and holding a spatula.  I was like, "Oh, that's cute...." and she goes, "Well, it gets a little chilly, but doesn't stay that way for long!"  Ha!  She was nude underneath that apron, and failed to mention that detail!  

    Ok, so my foobs don't hold up a cute teddy/nightie because they are so small in comparison to my frame size now.  I wear a L/XL top (usually XL unless it is a knit top), and my foobs are a size medium at best.   Therefore, I have a lot of unused material bunching up with those little teddies.  

    Actually, I think that red number is the right kind of fit for me-but I agree with Beth, I'd also be one to rip that thing right in half!  

    I want to try on a sexy little corset before I get one-where could I try one on?

    you can try on a corsette at any victorias secret.  They have ones with padding in the bottom cup of the bra, so it'll help you fill out the cups.

    I like the scene from pretty woman, where julia roberts is just wearing heels and a men's tie... I always thought that was so hot.  Matt loved it when I put on one of his work shirts one morning, when I hopped out of bed.  We were dating for about 2 months, and we were house sitting for a friend of his, so all I had near me to put on was his business shirt.  He thought it was so sexy.  We ended up having sex five times that morning, and he didn't make it into work until the afternoon.

    Marin- the trench coat is not sleazy-- it just has to be the right environment.  When I was in college I dated this bartender, and my roomate dated a bar back from the same bar.  The bar closed at 2 am, but they wouldnt get home till like 4 am.  she decided to put on boots and a trench coat, and have this huge surprise for her play date (as she would call it) when he got home.  She pulled this big green chair right near the door and she sat in it, with her leg swung over to the side, wearing thigh high patent leather boots...

    long story short, they didn't get out of the bar till 5am that night, and she fell asleep in the chair.  He walked in to her place, and found her laying in that outfit, snoring and drooling...

    hilarious, right?  She would probably kill me if she knew I told this story. LOL.

    I love the "sleazy" stories, because they give me such insight on being creative!   I am a naughty girl at heart, but am so reserved at times when it comes to sex. 

    That will always be one of the bizarre "blessings" of cancer.  It helped me overcome a LOT of inhibitions when it comes to sex, and just my body in general.  

    I carry my body with pride now.  Every scar and lump beneath my clothes carries a HUGE piece of history!  

     I have some naughty and embarrassing stories from college (when I was really exploring my wild side).  There was the time I stayed up all night with a guy doing everything we could imagine possible in bed, and fell asleep only to wake up to his roomate and girlfriend coming in.  My DD bra was hanging gloriously over the guy's alarm clock as some sort of trophy.  

    There was the time I was about to have sex with my boyfriend at his Dad's house, and his Dad walks in to offer us a snack.  I was stark naked laying across the bed.   I was instantly escorted to the guest room.   Oh man.......I forgot about that!!!  

    Ha ha ha ha....sex stories are the best ones.   I have to tell you guys about our honeymoon night when I have more time!   Greg just walked in and gave me that "are you on bc.org AGAIN?!?!" look!
