BARB>that heart looks like it may have been cross stitched on top of the crocheting.... am I correct Madison or was it part of the crochet stitches?
-
The heart squares are made by Boo/Sue. It is a single crochet stitch and the heart is cross stitched on top of the square.
-
Barb,
I really meant it if you want to get together and crochet I'll be up...
PM me...
and once again a beautiful hug being sent
and Neesie you look so comfortable and warm....

I finally tried striping a square to use up 2 smaller balls of yarn. I really like the way it came out, pink & white stripes. I'm going to start doing more of those.
I'll send a box out Friday or Saturday. Who's running short on squares?
-
I'm glad to see that squares are on their way to my house. I'm getting low and have 6 rows of this afghan done. Hopefully, I'll have enough to finish this one and get it in the mail this week. Depends on the "snow storm" they're calling to hit here. We shall see. LOL
I have been ask to make an afghan for our Relay For Life live auction. Some of the committee members (of which I'm one) have seen our afghans. So if anyone would prefer I NOT use their squares just PM me. It's not a problem. I don't want to use anyone's squares for this if they don't want me to. I'm planning on bidding on it myself so I can send it to someone anyway! Last year we had a "chemo bag" that went for over $300!
Again - thanks so much for everyone who helps out.
Hugs
Liz

Hey Liz-
I have a box of squares that I will get in the mail to you. Feel free to use some of them in your relay blanket. I have been seriously lazy on the square making. I'll get back to it...

I'll be mailing an afghan tomorrow or Saturday at the latest. I'm going to try to post the pic but if I can't, I'll have Madison do it for me. She's my picture poster since I keep getting that blasted red X all the time. I'm determined to figure this out. LOL
Thanks again to everyone who helps with the afghans. Without you guys, we couldn't send them out as quickly as we do.
Hugs

Nicki, I sent you a PM with information.

You girls are amazing. I'm too embarassed to send my squares. I may have to find the Knifty Knitter or learn to crochet. I feel like I'm struggling when I knit. I'll keep at it though.
-
Margaret- Send every square you make! They are all made with love, that is all that matters.
Liz - I sent the box today. Hope it gets to you OK.
Hugs too everyone

I'm working on squares too.............should be ready to ship them someones way by the end of the week................not a big color variation....decided to use my pastel stockpile............wish I could offer to border them for you all, but heck, I can't even weave!
