Aunt Em...OHIO...snowing like crazy!
-
Sue, whatever you do, make sure you don't boil your wig!!
Take a nice hot bath, with a cuppa, and take some long, long, deep breaths and GO TO SLEEP!!!!
AE
-
Valerie , why does it say "ae" at the end of your posts? Lisa and I are in Ohio , and we are reallllllllllllllly gonna get blasted! By snow I mean...
-
Oh ae , auntie em , I'm sorry , chemo brain
-
Lisa , when do you get off work? Please be careful.xxxx
-
AE - short for Aunty Em - to lazy to type it!!
I think Jersey is in for a very interesting evening and day tomorrow. Glad I had nothing planned but football watching.
Aunty Em
-
Auntie Em , what team do you root for?
-
Just checked the weather - looks like by the time it gets here it will be rain - Thank Goodness.
AE
-
I leave here at 7:30pm
Thank God for 4 wheel drive!! I will be careful.
We are supposed to get more tomorrow, mix of rain and snow. But the temps are going to be low, so I bet more snow.
-
DH & I actually root for the Baltimore Ravens. We invested in season tickets a few years ago. We don't get down there much (its a 3 hour ride) but fortunately I usually can sell the tickets on ebay. DH also likes the Jets.
Are you a football fan??
AE
-
Lisa - where do you work?? Be careful out there.
-
I work at the airport. I will be careful..thanks!
Oh..my daughter and her friend are going to drive in from Toledo!! Crazy darn kids!!
-
Lisa - I just noticed your signature - Live, Laugh, Love - I have something similiar on my fireplace mantel. They are actually peel & stick letters. Mine reads Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much - great words to live by.
I can't believe i have the ceiling fan on in this room!!! I am Hot flashing like mad.
UGH!!!
-
Auntie Em , now as I tell you this , Lisa may no longer be my friend , I love , love , love , the Pitts. Steelers! Sorry Lisa , my Dad was from Pa. I was raised on the steelers. I still love you! Just in case your a Browns fan.
Lisa , I am not surprise. They probably think of it as an adventure! We would of too. Sending out prayers for them. God will watch over them. He knows all about them youngins'!
-
Lisa - my BIL & a good friend both work for Continental at Newark - oh, wait - Newark Liberty - BIL is a mechanic & my friend is a supervisor in baggage. If I had to do it all over again, I would love to work for an airline and travel.
-
Hate those hot flashes!!
Yes...that is the full saying. I love it too! My g/f started it by saying it to me allot when I was going through my tx's. They are great words to live by.
My other saying...worry is for shit..as our Sue knows...is from my dear Baba (grandmother). My mom said she would say that, she spoke very little English. She was Ukranian, and in her own way, wanted my mom to know that worry will get you nowhere! God love her!
-
OH, boy - 2 arch rivals of the Ravens - the Steelers & the Browns!! Look out, there's a smackdown brewing!!!
-
Travel is definately the perk for this job. I work for Airtran Airways. Right now I am in the baggage service office. So I deal with people and their lost bags! Haha..it has been a good place for me to work, during this cancer journey...because I was able to sit mostly.
I have been here 4 1/2 yrs. I do like it. Travel was always a passion of mine. I hope do do more of it soon!
-
Auntie Em , you just got "your cob on"! Believe me , it can't be as bad as my hfs. I have a portable fan I carry with me! I don't know what it is like to sleep without waking up soaking wet! I have to go buy a new pillow...
Oh , I was at my best friends house this afternoon , and she has the same saying hanging in her kitchen. I love that.
-
Melody...we are still friends!! haha...I am not a football fan...so root for the Steelers!! Actually, there are lots of people in my area who are Steelers fans! Isn't the coach for the ravens the old coach from the Browns? Not sure..since I don't follow football.
I do however love BASEBALL!! So, don't mess with my Indians!!
-
Gosh...I don't sweat that bad yet...I hope my meds are working for me!
-
My blasted "cob" is ALWAYS on!!! LOL. I was at the mall today and I was froever taking my coat off, putting it back on, taking it off. When I look at clothes to buy now the first thing I think about is how much my "cob" will be on if I buy it!!
And to think years ago I was always cold.................
-
Lisa - do tell, what med's are you on that you are not "cobbing"??
-
Yeah!! , we are still friends!lol Yes, you are right on about the ravens , they started out as the old browns team. Go Indians! Love'em!

The way the ravens are playing this year, I think they might be looking for a new coach - Billick might be on his way out.
I bet you miss Cower?sp don't you? I always liked him. Class act.
-
AE...I heard that about Bill.
Good night dear Sue! Sweet dreams to you!! Not sweaty..haha.

Oh Auntie Em , I can ssoooooooo relate. I was shopping today , and I gathered quite an arm full of stuff , thats all it took! I started sweating , I mean getting my cob on! I keep paper towel in my purse to sop it up. It is so embarassing. I actually wore make-up today , and I was so afraid I was gonna look like a raccoon! I must get some "waterproof" mascrera!
-
Get the waterproof stuff Mel!! haha...oh my...I worry now...why I don't cob like that. I get hot...flushed, and sometimes at night, my head and face sweat. Hmm...
