Sue, you...little stinker! haha....someone just came into my office...so I am going now..lol
-
aww...Karen...a 1st b'day party...those are soooo special...aww...takes me back! Have fun!
-
Oh Karen , Jay Leno bald!!!! I never pictured that , because he has such thick hair. That would be a sight huh?! But ya see Karen. I DO have a very round head and big eyes. And , I probably can look like a barrel after the holidays! My tastebuds are back full force and EVERYTHING taste good to me. Help!
-
I hear ya Melody...I am trying to shed 10lbs before my surgery...but with me going into menapause and having my tastebuds back...even though I eat really healthy..it's hard as heck to lose any weight! I even started to run again..GRRRRRRRRRRRR..fustrating!
-
Oh good luck lisa , you can do it! Running is such a good thing. But , if your anything like me , this is a hard time of the year to diet. I am really gonna try now though, maybe if I get the right mindset I can drop a few lbs. before Christmas.
-
Karen , you are so beautiful. Like I told Sue , she will never look like UF , and you could never look like Jay. You two will look more like Jamie Lee Curtis or Demi Moore. Ohio has harsh winters , we end up looking like UF!lol
-
Demi Moore..that is what my sweet daughter said to me when I shaved my head..she was being kind!!
Melody...running is great...but tough on my knees...I have done it for years! I have actually been watching my diet for over a month...with very little coming off. I am going to try to do some large muscle exercises and some light weights..need to be careful for LE...but I am so sick of how I feel. I am not used to any extra weight or feeling and looking so out of shape!
Bad thing is...with this work now..then I will be down for 4 -5 weeks again....oh my.
-
I feel for you Lisa. When you don't have as much to take off , it is harder to do. I think you can do it. You sound like you are "in the zone".
-
My age doesn't help either...lol...
I would love to be back "in the zone"....that is my goal. I have a g/f...who has put on a little weight due to stress and age..and we are both bound and determine to motivate each other and work out together when I am all healed from my surgery...and she has her soon to be ex out of the house...lol!! We walk 3 miles 4 times a week now...power walk..but I know that running works so much better for me.
Ill keep you updated later on these goals! haha...
-
I think Jay Leno is a hunk!!
lololololololol
-
I know what you mean Lisa. I was 49 before June 9th came along , see , I can't even say my age out loud! And I think I am literally afraid to try to lose weight because of my age and now taking tamox. If I get back on my "regiment" and I don't lose , I will be soooo depressed. Good luck to you and your girlfriend. She already lost alot of weight with her soon to be ex gone!lol
-
Sue! True cofessions: My "first" that I vodee-oh-doed with , looks like Jay Leno! ewwwwwww!

Hi Ulla. You are such a sweet sister posting good and positive web sites for Sue.
Yes , Lisa and I was having some "dark humor" about the way we see ourselves on chemo. I was gonna apoligize to Sue , who is going through chemo now , but she got me laughing so hard that I forgot to tell her.
Sue , I try to stay up as late as I can on my days off too. Light some candles , play some music. Talk to you sweet sisters here.
I ment to ask you how your boys are doing? I hope all is fine with them. I'm gonna get another cuppa....

Sue , lolololollol! You are one funny gal. I love youxxx
I work at a place , that was recently bought by a company in uh-hum ,England... It is electronics. We produce pc boards. That is , printed circuit boards. My "title" is specialist/trainer and material handler. I train people, and set up and tear down jobs. And check on part problems ie- shortages , wrong parts , etc... It is very multi-tasking and stressful at times. I've been there 9 years and in this bussiness for 18 years. When things are running smooth , I really enjoy it. But , it is stressful and when the boss is away , I fill in
I love my job, I love my job , I love my job...

Ulla...I hope you are doing well with your treatments as well!
My days off are Sun/Mon & Thurs...so Sue, we are off on the same days! Right now I work in the baggage service office for my airline. So, I get to handle all of the unhappy people who have lost their luggage!! We are crossed utilized here. We do it all, from loading the bags on the aircraft to taking your boarding pass at the gate. This position has been a godsend to me...since my dx!! I can actually sit at a desk. I am ok now to stand all day, but going through my tx's I dont think I could have survived standing for 10hrs!! Sue...I don't know how you do it at work.
Did I tell you Sue...my youngest works at our Subway here?
