Madison, you deserve it and more. What you do is an amazing act of love and service. I'm glad to have had a part in contributing toward your beautiful gift.

Oh Madison,
I'm so happy we could do something special to show you how much all you do means to us. You do deserve the afghan and much more. You and Vickie have embraced this project and made so many happy. I am so proud to be part of the circle girl afghan project.
We have all been biting our nails waiting for you to find that box!!!

YES, pictures of you wrapped in the hugs that are in the afghan are a MUST...

OH MY GOSH!!!!
I AM SO SO SO SHOCKED!!!
I got home from the hospital (suffice to say, it's been a rough week)and there is a box on my front porch. My sister was with me and she carried it in and I said...yup...more squares and told her to wait while I opened it so she could see the wonderful thing that all of you do and YOU SENT ME AN AFGHAN!!! OK...SAT RIGHT DOWN AND CRIED!!! Sis went home...read the wonderful sweet caring cards and notes you included and cried again!!!! Sweet happy tears. Oh ladies...I love you so! I can't even express a thank you that will even begin to cover how wonderful you made me feel.
If receiving an afghan makes someone feel the way that I feel right this minute then it will be my lifetime mission to send out as many as I possibly can because you made me feel so very special.
Thank you so very much,
Love
Vickie -
MADISON GOT ONE TOO...OH YIPPEE!!! I was just checking back to see if my post worked and started reading!!! Madison...aren't these girls just the very best of the best!!
I promise to take pictures too...you deserve far more than that! -
Vickie and Madison: So glad you both have received our gift of love and hugs!!! You are two of the most giving people I have ever met. The planning, doing and sending had us all excited! You both deserve the afghans more than I can even say! Love you both!
Thanks to all of the girls that helped us make this gift possible. Everyone is sooooooo special! And a extra, huge, special thanks to Nicki and Boo/Sue for assembling all the square hugs into one big hug!!!!
Hugs,
Denise -
Vickie....so glad you got the afghan....(I didnt contribute to this project for you) but I want you to know that all my love and thoughts were with these ladies as they so SNEAKILY got this together........
Your wonderful Vickie....enjoy all those hugs when you wrap in the afghan cause they are for real!!!!!!

Jule -
Vickie and Madison,
I'm so happy your hugs arrived. So happy we could surprise you both also. Denise, Cheri, and Susan planned and worked hard to make this happen! So many ladies contributed wonderful squares. No 2 ladies are more deserving!
Hugs,
Sue -
The anxiety is gone. The smile is from ear to ear. Im so glad that Madison and Vickie got their afghans. This was such a fun project to work on. Just so you know, Denise came up with the idea and then coordinated it all.
Nicki -
Vickie and Madison, enjoy. I would write more but I think my brain is fried, it is SOOOO hot in VA today!!!! Turn the A/C way down and wrap up!! -- Donna
-
All of you were so very sneaky.....and I thought that Vickie and I were the ones who were keeping all the secrets....you are all awesome and wonderful and beautiful and thoughtful and kind and giving and.....
DonnaR....the heat index hit 103 today...summer is upon us
Hugs to all, Madison -
I'm looking for pictures of our two ladies with their afghans!
I can take credit for all the coordinating and contacts, but can't take credit for the idea. Great minds think alike....and Cheri contacted me first with the idea! However, it couldn't have been possible without everyones contributions!!
My biggest fear throughout, was that when I was "mass emailing" all you girls with requests, updates and etc. , I would "accidently or automatically" send it to Vicki and Madison too!!!!
Hugs,
Denise -
Yes, please pics of the afgans. I understand if you don't want to post a personal pic of yourself but could you please take a pic of the afgans and post them? Purty pleeze! <with Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey on top >
-
Madison and Vicki,
I'm so happy the afghans arrived. It was a great pleasure and honor to do this for you, after all you have done for so many in our litltle (!) community.
love,
Cherryl -
I am having trouble with the website to upload pictures of the afghan:
These are close-up pictures -
I'm sooooooo excited and happy to see that Madison and Vickie got afghans (hugs) and that it was a well kept secret and such a wonderful surprise to both of them. It's wonderful that you've recognized the work, support and love that these two have been providing to so many!! Such a wonderful tribute... I don't knit or crochet (or have time... work keeps me way too busy these days) but I follow this project and get go excited to see photos of each of the quilts and see the recepients surprise and reaction when they receive on. You guys are such an inspiration ... this is such a lovely project!!
Love to all of you who are participating in this project!
Doreen -
Oh my, sorry I am so late posting the pictures, but the website to upload pictures was having "glitches".....
Hugs, Madison -
Your afghan is beautiful, Madison! I love seeing the finished product, and it is fun to pick out my squares. Thanks again Boo and Nicki for putting these afghans together and thanks to Denise, Susan and Cheri for being the masterminds of the surprise!
Madison, I'm so thrilled that you and Vickie experienced first hand the support and love that these afghans bring. You both continue to amaze me with your devotion to this project!
Much love,
Sue -
This idea has been bouncing around for a while but neither Cheri or I can crochet. LOL so we were getting nowhere fast!!! Cheri started contacting people to see who cold help with this and it just took off. I did very little but encourage Cheri. She found Boo and Denise and Denise found Nicki and they did all the work. I'm so happy this all worked out. The two of you deserve something really special from all of us.
hugs to you two and thanks for bringing such a wonder gift to us.
susan -

Hugs,
Denise
