I see a new ebay business for you Cheri!!
-
Hello,
We need your help.
Vickie and I have received some wonderful suggestions for afghan recipients...our only problem is we don't have the real names and addresses for many of these individuals.
If you have suggestions, real names and addresses, please PM Vickie or myself.
I will finish an afghan this evening and it should be ready to mail tomorrow. I know Vickie has three ready to be mailed.
Thank you all so much
Hugs, Madison -
Okay, I know that Cheri has the triangle perfected..and Susan and Myself have come close...........but if there is gonna be a large profit down the road...I want in on it!
Hugs,
Denise -
Hey Madison and Vickie,
I've got more squares....squares not triangles....than I thought. I know you both have been receiving quite a few lately...WHO WANTS MORE!!
Let me know and I'll mail them off!
Hugs,
Denise -
Cheri I want in on the triangle business. I need some money.
-
Humm, I don't know girls. I seem to recall there was some snickers and giggles made over my little triangles. I tell you what, I'll throw the idea out to Amber and see if she can make a triangle bikini and try to talk her into modeling it for a pic. Actually, I can make the triangle part of it teehee Big money, big money.
cheri -
HI ladies...well I have two afghans boxed and ready to go...got to the post office on my way home...couldn't get in...power lines down and blocking the stinkin driveway. I will mail them tomorrow and post a pic too. geez.
I have quite a few squares...Madison...how many do you have. I have another afghan half done...snow days are great for crocheting!!!
Love and hugs to all
Vickie

Hello, hello, I had trouble getting to the post office today...because it is TAX day. Didn't go to post office Monday (doctor appointment)
I'll send my afghan out express mail tomorrow for delivery on Thursday.
I also will finish an afghan tonight.
I also have quite a few squares....
Send them on because I border them on my lunch hour
I do need some addresses. I will PM Deb with some screen names...I think she may be able to help...
Love and hugs to all -
Vickie and Madison, thanks for all your hard work. We love it when you post pics and we can see our own rectangles. It's quite satisfying.

I'll be ready to mail more squares in the next day or two. Let me know if you want me to split them like I have or if one needs more than the other.
Hugs -
I have 8 rectangles and 1 triangle. Should I wait till I have more to mail.
-
Liz, I like when they are split....it gives Vickie and I an opportunity to incorporate everyone's work in afghans we both work on...
Susan, it is okay if you want to wait until you have a few more to mail...
Finished an afghan a few minutes ago...looks good...I'll post a picture tomorrow morning.
Time for bed for this sleepyhead....(fell asleep with the crochet hook a few times tonight....but I checked the afghan and didn't miss a stitch!!!)
You are all the greatest!!!! -
I picked up some yarn called "Sassy Stripes" It says that stripes and patterns appear as you knit or chrochet. thought it would be interesting to see what it does!looks like whoever bought it originally paid $4.99 a skein, I got thre for that price. Check out the second hand stores for yarn you can get some pretty good deals on them!
-
Just finished this afghan last night:
You are all the GREATEST!!!!
Hugs Madison -
Oh my, made the page BIG....sorry
-
Simply beautiful, Madison. Nice job. Thanks for posting the pics of them girls.

Okay, bear with me a minute here...I am going to get mushy, sentimental, etc.
Everytime I am packing these afghans I feel like I am sending a friend to hug our afghan recipients .I work on the squares, put them together, put a border and say WOW arent our ladies the greatest for making all these squares .I can feel the love and caring in each and every square that you made and I stitch together. It is like sending a part of us to each person that receives these gifts.
I absolutely love you all!!!! -
I did a lot of crocheting while DS was home. I hope to get a box of 20 or so each to Vickie and Madison this weekend. I tried to UPS them earlier in the week, but they wanted what seemed like a lot of money to me. I'd rather spend it on yarn, so I'm going to visit the Post Office on Saturday.
Is it me, or does it seem like we have very little green in our creations? I guess we all just like reds, purples and blues best!
Anne -
Looks great ladies. You all are wonderful.
Amy~community afghan cheerleader! -
Madison
mush away.....
MB -
Madison,
BEAUTIFUL! And very thoughtful words!
I have a bunch of squares....are we sending to many to you ladies? I don't want you and Vickie to be wading waist high in squares or feeling pressure to make beauties for us.
Anne: I've been sending my squares in the Priority Mail boxes..free at PO. I can get about 15 in one and it cost $4.80 to mail to Vickie and $5.15 to mail to Madison. We're pretty close so it should be about the same for you.
Hugs,
Denise -
beautiful madison. I'm gonna crochet tonite during the ballgame and then send out what I got. It's only a few but I so want to see one of them in an afghan. wow.
