Card, I hope so, but depends on what, if anything, he said to the witness. I know they didn't talk one-on-one but, maybe, he left an incriminating message. All the pundits I hear on cable are saying Garland really has no option but to indict the POS. Evidence of wrong doing is overwhelming.
-
pupmom - It seems like Garland isn’t doing anything. I hope he’s running some secret grand jury investigations, preparing documents that are ironclad to nail Trump. Need to do something before Trump runs again in 2024. What a disaster if he’d win. Can you imagine what he’d do to his enemies?
-
Card, I try very hard not to go to that horrible place. I think Garland must resign if he's too timid to charge the Loon. That would be completely unacceptable.

Love it!

pupmom - was just reading that Beto has a good chance of beating Abbott in November. Just hope folks don’t forget how miserable they have been under Abbott’s lack of leadership.

I think they like the very rich, hate women and non-Christians, but mostly still accurate.

Emotions give life texture and depth, but there's an art to managing our moods. Once we cultivate inner balance we can immerse ourselves fully in every experience without fear of going overboard. When we're conversant with our emotions, we learn to nurture positive feelings and defuse disturbing ones.

Love all the memes and posts and nodding my head in agreement. I do love that last one on the AR 15. Seems anyplace there are Reps. things are not so hot in that state. They have it seems all lost whatever reasoning capacity they may have had. I'm sure there are still decent Reps. but I sure don't know where they are. I too, hope DOJ may be able to get an iron clad case going on Trump. I just worry that it will happen while he still has enough mentality to appreciate the UN-gold jail cell.
It is hard to believe so many people ( Reps ) seem to still be ready to hang in there with him, but they bet on him too long ago I think to give up now. They have nothing and I hope to heck it stays that way. Even more so as they do not pay much attention if any to what their constituents want or need. Many of them have been 'lied ' to for long enough they themselves just plod along. I'm am happy though that it seems a lot of them have made plenty of discoveries since the televised hearings. Hope that continues and that it stays un-forgettable for the election. But we are really going to need a blow-out. Praying it comes.

I do not agree with her politics at all , but boy has she been out front and gutsy in taking on the Loon for the right reasons.

Ah, coming from the guy who thought Cippolone was his lawyer:
Enraged And Fuming Trump Is Glued To The 1/6 Committee Hearings
Trump is described as always watching the 1/6 Committee hearings and angrily ranting about them behind closed doors.

Card, I so hope so! I have family in TX that are going to work their tails off for Beto!

Peace of mind just can't be bought. Trust me: Even if your conscience doesn't stop you from playing dirty to get what you want, once you get it, it will keep you from enjoying it.
As my mother used to say, "A good conscience is God's eye." Which is why I always prefer a loss to an underhanded gain; the one brings pain at the moment, the other for all time.

Sort of off topic right now but definitely something to poinder:

Why this person is free after what is known abour him, but it is typical it seems of the Reps.
I think I also read somewhere that he was trying to erase his diatrive about the 10 yr. old making things up. Too late now. I think he should ( if not prosecuted, be forced to resign. Not a high chance of that, but if he keeps it up -- and he was involved as well in the 1/6 fiasco. I hope SOMETHING of what he has been involved with is big enough to gobble him up.

I do believe this and it is something that still feels scary. We were likely fortunate that it was the Loon at the top. The scary part to me was finding out how many in our own government were willing paticipants ( like the ten mentioned in the last hearing ) and who helped encourage and support many of the others -- like Mike Lindell, Sidney Powell, Rudy Guiliani, Jim Jordan, and of all people Gini Thomas.
If all these people had been smarter but many of them are almost as 'mental' as the Loon with conspiracy theories and weird renderings of the laws. Frightening to think there are still people trying to tamper with laws and change things around so as to nullify not only the government but our Constitution. Hard to believe because I've thought a lot of things over time but never that our OWN government would be dismantled by U.S. citizens. It just didn't seem possible here and now it does. Makes you wonder -- just how well do you know your neighbor. I would like to think they would want me to survive on a reasonable level as much as I want them too but I'm not always sure about that.
