Jen~ Congrats on the stable. That is all we can ask for. Okay we can ask for a cure. You're always so sweet and positive... I adore you! ♥️🍾 as Yndorian said, we must take the losses right along with our losses. Lita is with her mother I am more than sure. Love to all of you lovelies.
Grannax~ glad to see you. I worry about my peeps ya know 💗
Lynnwood~ I am sending you a special hug for noticing how I try so hard to keep up with you special sisters. Each and everyone of you.
🌹
Mae~ the masked singer started last night. Do you watch it ? Pretty entertaining!!

That's great news Jen!
-
Mae and Jen, STABILITY! YEESSSSSS! Loving it!
Gutted by the loss of our Lita.
love to each, Mary Jane

Great news for you Jen!!!
-
Jens and Mae I am sooooo happy for you both!! What a relief!!! Always freaky going into the scans and then awaiting the results, especially when there’s odd symptoms and pains popping up.
😢 about Lit
-
Mae. Yay for stable. Moomalla My sister and I watched tons of Netflix, too lol funny story about you and your sister.
I’m going to post a few pics of my finished projects with my DS this week. By far the hardest one was reupholstered chairs in my farmhouse kitchen. They complete my kitchen. We did a fall craft, now if fall will just come to Texas. We decorated for fall in my house. She bought tons of staples to fill my pantry and freezer. We went to see Downton Abbey with my BFFs.
Lita is a huge loss for all of us. Man did she ever fight the fight.

My granddaughter after her Cross Country Competition. It was a sweltering day in Texas. CC is not a spectator sport. But grandmothers do anything needed. The hardest part was the hour it took to get out of the parking lot pasture!!! Then we were an hour late to pick up grandson at gymnastics. Ug

Jen,
Congrats on the good news!
-
Grannax~Can you come to my house next? Love your choices of decor. Always have ! I hope I can experience grandchildren someday. Loving that!
Still waiting to find out how mrs Divines porch is with this weather change. I so would be outside each afternoon/evening soaking up that air!

Jen, I am so happy you're stable.
-
Mae and Jen,
I, too, am happy for you both. Oh how I long to hear that word STABLE from my onc. But for now, I’m all set up to get radiation on both hips, and then on to the next drug. Not sure which one yet. I’ll find that out next week. But it is so inspiring to hear that others are doing well. It gives me hope.
Yesterday had a basal cell cancer cut out of my arm. Nothing much to worry about there, especially because I’ll be on a new chemo soon
Rest In Peace, Lita. You will be missed.
-
BooBoo~♥️ I adore you friend, I hope your new tx is mild for you. We all deserve less toxic treatments for sure!
-
Wonderful news Jen! 🎉
Great pics grannax 😀

I am so relieved and happy for your great stable news. It makes us feel better for you and hope for the rest of us.
So very sad for Lita but also relieved and grateful for her suffering to be over.

Here is my own update:
1. Dr Angel called me immediately after the liver tumor board met early this morning. She is so good to communicate with me.
2. The members of the tumor board do NOT know what is going on with my liver...but think it is resolving and healing.
3. Theory is I had an ischemic event in the liver with 2 vessels blocked. It caused liver enzymes to go really high and caused liver cell death in many places. Now they think we are looking at the remnants of this event about 2+ months ago.
4. Abraxane treatment will continue as planned.
5. We may do a contrast ultrasound and/or CT guided biopsy. She is checking on these now.
I feel a bit better that things seem to be settling down. It does not seem so frantic or critical right now. I can breathe again. For awhile. Thank you all for your support.

gum doctor ~ You really seem to have an exceptionally caring oncologist which I think is awesome I’m so glad things are calming down and you seem to be back on your direction with Abraxane. I’ve had it before as well. I always needed to eat during it. It helped absorb some toxins. And drank a lot of water. Took aleve before. Do you get pre meds? I’m allergic to steriods. That’s why I didn’t get taxol. Hugs to you!~M~

Mae & Jen congrats on the scan results!! You guys give hope and courage to so many.
Love to all,
Laine

Hello to all.
Illimae- Woohoo on the scans!!!!
Jensgotthis- Woohoo to you also for the good scans !!!!
Grannax- Love the pics. Love your decorating ability.
Gumdoctor- Happy things may be "settling down" for you. You need some chill time.
Sorry to hear about Lita. Rest in Peace.

Candy~Hello there!! Cloudy day here makes me want to nap now. My DD is coming over for lunch for her break at work so I can eat and then nap, much better combo I believe. I actually am hungry which is rare for me. I usually only eat once a day and that’s because I have too!
I am almost done Orange is the new Black. Geeze I’m a whimp. Id cry at the opening of a Kmart. I need to get a grip. Love to all!
-
Gumdoctor, I’m glad you are getting some answers and sounds like your onc is right on top of your treatment. Healing sounds like a positive thing. Missing your Facebook writings.
-
waving hello to Lanie!! Welcome back to you...your post must have snuck in there. Hope you’re having a good day. I slept too late again for my nap. Sooo I’m going to be up too late.
Hello Lynnwood~ 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 for you today friend.

Mae~Dont you find it odd that American Horror story doesn't have any heavy hitters in it this time. No Sarah Paulson ??? What???? No Evan Peters. Only one is Emma Roberts. Who I like. No chloe savengion (spelling) no Kathy Bates..... I am hoping we see more, but I didn't see anyone of them on the credits It would not be horror story without Sarah Paulson... Evan Peters. What is going on here ? Ugh!
(Not that it's really important. Just struck me funny and im still celebrating the stable women's results, while mourning Lita).
-
I'm still a little shy about posting here, but I'm glad that Gumdoctor's liver is healing!
Mel, I'm a big fan of AHS, but you are right, it is not the same without Sara Paulson or Evan Peters...
Do you like stand up comedy? I'm cracking up with JERRY BEFORE SEINFELD in Netflix.
Hugs to you all!❤❤❤
-
Yndorian ~ it's an open forum now sweetheart. No worries about posting here honestly. I've noticed a few who haven't been back since the change but you know what, that's ok. I try to make everyone feel welcome and loved Because you are. I am bad with names. I knew it was Peters or something like that. I'll fix it lol before Mae corrects me anyway lmao Yeah it's really a weird cast already. I don't recognize anyone honestly. The one witch From the coven. I'll keep watching !
Hell yeah about Gum Doctors liver. More healing !
