Thanks for your prayers, Nancy. I'm sorry you had a scare and you still don't have your MRI results. I pray you have peace and they are as good as possible.
-
Some of you have asked about what is going on with me. I was having balance, dizziness and bad headaches and my oncologist wanted me to have a brain MRI back in November. I found out at that time that I have a brain tumor in the base of the brain. The good news is it is small and benign. However my aunt had a golf ball size benign brain tumor removed when she was my age but when I asked her if she remembered what kind it was she didn't. She is still alive at 91. My Mom at almost 94 was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor many years ago but the doctor chose to do no further testing. Obviously for her it hasn't been an issue.
I have had three brain MRI's since Nov. The problem is that the past two came up with two different conclusions in the radiology report. I still do not have results from this one I had on Wed. I really thought I would hear something today and didn't. So that is the story.
Thank you all for your concern. I really appreciate it. Lisa, I love those flowers. April, I liked your ominous photo of the storm clouds.
I took these photos last night. I live in an area with street lights in the way so I am pretty limited on where I can shoot but not too thrilled about going some other place at dark so this is from my yard.
Hope this doesn't disappear this time.

Thanks Cathy. It just occurred to me today that as we enter our Fall season soon you must be entering Spring. I think that will hopefully be a healing time for you.

Thanks, Nancy. Yes, I'm really looking forward to the days getting warmer and longer.

Today it was the bug's life.
This is the lego version of a corn spider.
Unbelievably I got a photo of a real corn spider at this Arboretum which also housed the lego version. Not a great pic as it was under it's web. I wasn't getting too close!!
This tiger swallowtail is what I was actually hoping to find today and i did.

I realized that I forgot to tell you about my brain MRI results. I had to take a friend to her skin cancer surgery and was gone all day on Wed. and just forgot. It is never a good thing having a brain tumor in the base of the brain but mine is benign and it hasn't grown. They have now agreed with the first MRI I had in Nov that it is a Hamartoma. The second MRI said something different so that made me uneasy. It is unusual to have this type of tumor in the brain but I am confident that things are good for now. I don't have to repeat for a year so I have been out celebrating with my camera yesterday and will be today too.
Lisa, beautiful pic of Mt. Hood!!!!

A well deserved celebration. Lovely bugs.

Bandwoman, Hooray for benign and not growing!! Have fun with your camera.
