Hi!! Sorry I have not posted for awhile!! Here is my weigh in lost 3 lbs!!
-
I am struggling with the weight I have put on - mostly by my own doings. I was so disciplined about a year or so ago - working out 4 times a week for at least and hour hard - really got into the total body workouts and started slightly with insanity (at my level). I got diagnosed with bc - and although they caught it early - I am having a double mastectomy in less than 3 wks - all of this has taken it's toll on me - I have let myself go - I'm 5'9 and look good at about 160 lbs - anything under 155 I start looking sickly - yet the scales went well beyond that yesterday - 20 lbs heavier - feeling my fat roll up on my back disqust me - yet instead of getting up to exercise I get up to find comfort food - so sad. I had the option to have the procedure where they take your belly fat to reconstruct- but the doctor performing my surgery doesn't do that - so I guess I have to lose this weight the old fashion way and work for it. I am really struggling with losing my breast - I feel like I will have something foreign on my body and I have been really down over it all - I would love to have someone to hold me accountable and push me to actually do something about this weight - but I will be down for a while - don't count me out though my friend- I would give it a go

Hi, tbrown!! Aww, don't be too hard on yourself, you have gone through a lot!! I opted out of reconstruction as well! I am 13 years out and always struggle with weight issues.welcome e !!!

Hi Kathy - I just found this forum over the weekend and posted in the other thread about my TM's on the rise and wondering how you are doing? I am scheduled for scans this Wednesday - nuclear bone scan and CT with contrast of chest, abdomen, and pelvis. Do you still post there? Hoping you can “talk me down" from my anxiety. My markers have always been between 27 and 35. Now 43 and a week later, up to 47. Thus the scans. Are yours still all over the place and your scans clear? Praying you are well as everyone on these threads. I am scared
