Always gave my kids a totally silly gift at Christmas. DD1 would watch the teletubbies when she was home from school in high school Gave her Po who turned out to say something offensive. Company said people were wrong about what they were hearing but we all definitely heard the controversial phrase. No mistake about it.

ha just reread what I wrote a bit ago. I'm not tinkly 😮. Dipsy or maybe ditzy fits. Back when I was a nanny, many years ago, the little girl I watched loved them. She dressed as dipsy for Halloween and was still wearing the costume when Christmas hit

Sensi ~ So it Is safe to make you laugh if you are not tinkly? 😋
We can get you some Big Girl Tinkly Tinker Bell pants just in case!

Leaving the store, I couldn't find my keys. They weren't in my pockets. Suddenly I realized I must have left them in the car. Frantically, I headed for the parking lot. My husband has scolded me many times for leaving my keys in the cars ignition. Hes afraid that the car could be stolen. As I looked around the parking lot, I realized he was right. The parking lot was empty. I immediately called the police. I have them my location, confessed that I had left my keys in the car and that it had been stolen. Then I made the most difficult call of all to my husband: "I left my keys in the car and its been stolen." There was a moment of silence. I thought the call had been disconnected, but then I heard his voice. "Are you kidding me?" he barked, "I dropped you off!" Now it was my turn to be silent. Embarrassed, I said, "well, come and get me" He retorted, "I will just as soon as I convince this cop that I didn't steal your damn car!" Welcome to the golden years….

Chevy! You poor dear!
Well today for me started off on a good note so far. It was the first day that I could either shower or take a sponge bath since the surgery the other day to remove the cysts. Feeling 100% better! Its the little things like this that I look forward to after surgeries.
-
Mom2.... I was just posting something from FB...Hah! Oh OWwwww! Cysts removed? Ekkkks! Take good care girl !
-
believe it, with a car THIS color, twice I've gone to the wrong car. I CANNOT imagine having a silver car. I'd be in jail or worse
-
good morning! He's what I had for my morning coffee.
Oops, he brought me coffee. 🙄
Mommy, glad you can get a shower. Hospital just called me to check on things. Nothing on the paperwork about a shower. So he's checking for me. (Maybe he looks like the guy above!). Last time it was only 2 days, so I'm hoping its not a week. Yes, he just called back, only 2 days. I'll probably wait until the weekend when I can get my DD to help wash my hair.
I'm doing good. Little pain, only a couple zaps last night. Now I just have to hope that the implants was what was causing the pain.
Hope everyone is doing well this morning/afternoon. Susan, where are you? How's Elena?
-
Hi, Just a quick pop in. It seems a quick note here and there is all I can handle these days. I keep intending to post longer, more personal notes to all of you, but it isn't happening.
I'm doing my reading typically when my kids are in therapies (like speech), but I don't like posting from my phone.
Shep/Loverly, I did sleep (sort of) at the sleep center with DS, but we didn't have school Monday because of end of term. My strategic appointment setting! He slept for them at least, and I napped Monday.
Speaking of my kids..times up..I'm off to pick them up.
Love and hugs to all of you!!
-
Yeah, they recently found that in the scar tissue there was cysts growing. So Monday they removed them.
-
Mommy- I am glad you are okay and only cysts. I never appreciated a shower more until going through major surgery. I hope you are on the mend and feeling better soon.
Chevy- I have two cars and sometimes when I drive the convertible, I go out of a location looking for my main car and think someone stole it. I am a creature of habit and usually park in the same area in places I frequent so then I will spot the other car and go "oh right." I hope no one will see me walking around dazed and confused.
Smarty- so how was that coffee?
Wildtulip- always nice to hear from you. How are your feet doing?
-
i KNOW! Isn't that funny to see someone ELSE wandering around the parking lots, looking for their car? I've done this... but usually with my newer car, I can hit the button to make the horn sound! THAT helps all the time... And the lights blink when I hit "un-lock".... But you are right.... we should always park in the same area....
Remember when we used to put a flower on the antennae? Hah!
That reminds me.... one time I was working down-town, and parked in a multi-layered garage, and when I got off, I had forgotten which floor I had parked on! OMG I was scared...! Dark out, and me wandering around in some 50,000 story garage! We didn't have cell phones in those days.... and no fob with a beeper on it either! I rode up and down I don't know how many floors, trying to find my car.... I just cried when I finally found it.
-
Chevy- that picture is funny!
I hate parking garages.

Kathyindc...is your DD's a fairly new Po? My DD got her Po years ago, and it doesn't say anything offensive. Over the years, DD managed to collect them all: La La, Dipsy, Tinky and Po. If it wasn't too offensive, could you tell us what Po said in Pig Latin?
(Ig-Pay Atin-Lay?) We wouldn't want to offend anyone ;0). Did you send the little delinquent Po back?
L

It was years ago, probably 20 years. Since she was in high school, she thought it was funny that she got one of the sabotaged ones and wanted to keep it. She had a locker room sense of humor back then. Let's just say it said a derogatory word twice that rhymed with a fly larva

Hello to everyone. I am WAY behind!
So far so that I truthfully have only scanned over the last 5-6 pages, so I am sorry if I don't get all of it.
I have been quite busy with the Kirbmeister, volunteering and the usual stuff. Kirby is giving me a run for my money, but I love it. I am usually in bed early or at least dosing on the couch in the evenings. With Kirby needing to be walked and played with, I am getting more exercise than I have in a long time. He is growing like a weed. and improving on his potty training and socialization. I had 3 doctor's appts. yesterday and Kirby went with me. He got a bath & his teeth were brushed before going though.
Of course everyone was excited to see/pet him. One of the lab techs held him while another one took my blood. Kirby even got on/off 3 elevators without even flinching. Plus he laid on the floor quietly during my appt. with Palliative Care. I'm not sure where this puppy came from, but he is showing signs of having the makings of a good therapy dog. We even had a bicycle & 2 skateboards pass us on the walk back to the transit center and he didn't react at all. He zonked out once we got home though, then at 11:00 p.m. he was ready to play again.
Here he is at 14 weeks. Just over 7 lbs.
Sensi - I loved the pics of Chance after his romp in the mud. He looked like he was totally elated.
How is your energy doing. Is your stamina getting any better?
Loverly - So glad you are getting help from The Honest Kitchen. They have other versions of their food. The one I got is the "Embark" Grainfree Turkey/vegetable.
There is also a food by Stella & Chewy's. I give Kirby their crunchy treats in Beef and have Chicken, plus Duck as well. I use them for his training.
Spookie - Cute little green car you have. A woman that lives in my complex drives an old meter maid car. It is cute as can be too. I think it would be fun to have one.
As for the fracture in my T12, apparently my MO misread the report. I do have a mild wedge compression of the T12, but there is no fracture. Thankfully. My Palliative Care provider looked back at the reports from the last couple years and printed a copy of the CT report from Dec. 25th, 2016. The CT is the first place this comment shows up and the Palliative provider underlined each sentence showing me what was actually said. I feel much better about that now. However, I am having some increased pain in my mid-back and have gone back to wearing my brace during the daytime. It gives a lot of support.
How did your pup get so muddy? Did she have fun though. Kirby loves leaves and chases any he can, plus will potty on top of any leaves he can find on the ground. Weird habit of his.
Chevy -Funny you mention how your DH scolds you about forgetting your keys in the car ignition. I went to get pizza tonight and right in front of me a man parks his SUV and leaves it running while he goes in to pick up his pizza. I comment how trusting he must be to do that and he tells me that not only did he leave the car running, but left his baby in the car as well. Can you imagine what his wife would say if she knew? Idiot! It only takes a second for some unscrupulous individual to jump in and take off.
The man in the pic. about losing ones car in a parking lot is sooooooo handsome. Didn't he used to do beer or tequila commercials?
Is that pic of all the snow, your yard?
Hey there Sheppers! How you doin?
Okay, I know I haven't addressed everyone, but my eyes are drooping, so I'll bid you all a Goodnight & sleep well.
-
JunieB ~ What a blessing Kirby is! There was a reason you had to wait so long for a puppy - your little guy was being custom created just for you! I am sooooo happy for you 😊
(love the snoozing doggie!)
Tomorrow is Vet Day. DS and I will pack up Marti and Pris Kitty to go for their annual shots and check-up. I hope this time we'll have an easier time getting Marti in and out of the vehicle!
good Morning Feline!
Good Night Everyone Else!
-
Chevy that was beautiful!! Though I can imagine it felt anything but beautiful at the time!
Reminds me very much of a tale by one of my favourite American raconteurs (have seen him perform twice in Ireland)
-
Smaarty. Glad to hear you have had your surgery and are on to healing. XXX
-
M0mmy best wishes to you for post surgery healing also.
-
Feeling good today. No soreness or pain at all. Hubby was shocked to hear last night that I had been able to sponge bathe and wash my hair. He told me he would have helped me when he had gotten home from work.
-
me relaxing!
This is where I sleep also. DH did get the recliner part fixed. Yeah!! Not much coming out of the drains which means they should come out next week. Another yeah! stopped the pain pills today, just took some Tylenol and I'll see how that works. Looked at the site, looks pretty good, going to be nice and flat, not concave. Stupid things to hope for😝 My head is still a little fuzzy, I think that's the antibiotics I'm on. Otherwise doing really good.
Tulip, when are you going back in?
Hi everyone else. JunieB, Kirby is so cute. If we ever got another dog, it would be something like him.
-
Smaarty, cute picture of you! I'm glad you are happy with your surgery and doing well. My next one (FG) isn't until 4/11. I'm waiting to do it during our spring break to minimize time off from work.
Jazzy, Yes..my feet feel better thank you! They have slowly gotten better since being off aramasin. Although my MO wonders if the Zolodex shot I get with AI is cause and I just started new AI/shot so we'll see.
Kirby make me smile, Junie.
I got a call today that sleep study for DS was fine..no obstruction. We meet with a different Dr in a month to get opinion on if tonsils need to come out. I came down with a cold yesterday, and it's really sucking my energy. I have a really intense schedule with several commitments in the next three days, so I'm off to bed.
Love and hugs to all of you!!
-
Smaarty- glad you are doing well and resting
hey gang, we have a new sister that needs anyone that is up right now

Smaarty - I am so glad you are doing well after your surgery, and that you're happy with the result. You look quite comfortable there on your couch all bundled up. Hope you heal quickly so you can get back to your sewing.
Hey Sheps - I hope Marti & Pris take it easy on you and DS going to the Vet.
WildT -Sorry you have that yucky cold. Lets pray for the quick passing of it. Kirby makes me laugh & smile too. Even my palliative care doctor said she noticed a difference in me now that I have Kirby.
Goodnight! to everyone in this hemisphere, and Goodmorning! to you Feline.
