Hopefully, the third point or this...,
-
In my case, getting dental work done but all is well!
-
Shep,
"Chevy ~ "What can I do to make your day better?"...... My answers to that daily question, if asked by FFH, would be waaay different. If I posted them, ya'll would be so sad for me - and sending out cartons of disinfectant and filtered breathing masks! 😨"
I am slow. I interpret it as you have some potent gas?
Sensi, Mitzy got her run today. I might walk her again tonight. Hopefully, it does not rain too hard the next seven days. The ground is quite saturated here. Is it time to build an ark?
Mom was not hurt in the car accident. Thank God! Not sure if the accident is her fault. She said 5 seconds after came the out of the suicide lane, another car side-swipe her from the right front side. The other person claimed that she merged into his lane. She thought it was clear when she looked before merging. She thinks that the other person came out from the shopping complex miscalculated the space, made a wide turn and hit her car. Who knows. There really is no proof. It's a headache trying to take care of the insurance, but grateful that no one was hurt. She has not been feeling well the last few days because of insomnia ( on going problem with mom) so I both parents are down. Again, I am grateful I don't live too far from them and have a younger sister to help them also.
Good to hear you finally get some energy. Bonus is always nice. Good for you.
Jazzy, how was your yoga retreat?
WildT, good to have friend to step in to help rescue you when someone was trying to hit on you. It's very awkward situation when the other person does not realize you have no interest and you are trying to be polite at the same time.
Junie, definitely the Honest Kitchen is causing Mitzy to drink a lot of water. We stopped and started back on it a few days and she is back to drinking more water than usual and had two accidents. It has not been raining so I can't blame it on the rain. It is too bad because the food did not bother her skin. I wonder if this is just a bad batch. Not sure what to do with the food. I guess we are sticking to Canine Caviar. Will try the lamb and see how she will do on it. I know to buy a small bag this time
Live and learn.
Ms.S, nice looking retreat. So are you refreshed?
Hope everyone is doing ok. Ta ta for now
-
Oh hi, Jazzy.
-
Loverly ~ You scared me! Aiiiii those teeth!
Chevy ~ Ain't nothin' up over here
Jazzy ~ eek! Don't text from the dentist chair - you don't want to bump the doctor's arm!
Smaarty ~ Gorgeous views! Is that a grill on the deck? If you are having a good time then you've accomplished all you need to do
Sensi ~ For some reason, we are all "programmed" to hate the sound of our own voice. I wouldn't say nice things about your voice if I didn't mean 'em! So awesome you are so appreciated at work. You care about your residents, they surely care about you......love it when good things happen for good people. Chance does not move like an old guy at all! I forgot he was a "senior" until you mentioned his upcoming 11th birthday. Yay Chance!
To the rest of y'all...........
-
Loverly ~ I type too slow! By the time I finished my post, you had posted.... FFH is a S-L-O-B! It's like he's picked up the slack and then some to make up for the messiness of the kids now that they are grown and on their own. Plus he is such a total fart face all the time. (no gas, thank dog) (sigh) He eats nothing but fast food and is very careless and prone to injuring himself. I never thought he would have lasted this long. (bigger sigh) I need to rethink my strategy......

Hi ladies- the yoga retreat was awesome. Great yoga, yummy vegetarian foods, some time out in nature. I was not able to snow shoe due to lack of snow in the caldera, but hope to try in the local mountains this weekend.
Went to get some dental work done today on a crowned tooth and ended up with a fix and new crown underway (temp in place). This was good news because I thought the tooth might need to get yanked. All the drilling gave me a bad headache so laying low this afternoon.
More soon. Hope everyone is doing okay with all the snow, ice and weather everywhere!

Shep, and here's where my mind went with the disinfectant and breathing masks...I envisioned you had enough with FFH and took matters into your own hands.
-
ShepK, love your cat-hat. Is that you?
I always wonder why a beautiful (inside and out), humorous, and compassionate girl like you will stay stuck with such FFH (as often depicted by you). Now I understand why you need disinfectant and breathing masks, there must be some gold under the piles of sh*t there.

Jazzy - Yoga retreat sounds like heaven. I just want a foot massage doesnt have to be a whole retreat, really need a pedicure too. Sometimes my neuropathy sneaks back a little bit.
Loverly - I know your parents are younger than mine were but it gets scary as they age and drive. You are so patient with your parents its very sweet, they are lucky to have you.
Smaarty - thats a great view! Are you back? Remind me when is the big day?
Sensi - I'm so glad your work appreciates you, they can see how much you care about the clients.
Junie - Wow you are really lucky then if a guy like him had an honest moment! I was referred to the SHIBA counselor and left them a message...days ago. Oh well its getting there, thanks again for the info
Chevyboy - Question please? Why Chevyboy? My DH and sons love Chevys so I'm curious. I have a Dodge, they tease me.
Lita - That reverse mohawk, I know just what you mean
I forget who, someone asked for a new picture of Gus. Here he is, my snuggly boy.
-
Poppy- I get my feet worked on regularly because of plantars and other issues. Work on the feet is divine.
That kitten is adorable!
-
There are a few bars in Seattle that rescue women who need it. In the restroom are posted what to order and what it means. It goes from distract the guy please all the way to call the cops. I think it's catching on other places. Great idea. Very nice of that woman to realize you needed help and step in.
-
Awake, but need to drive DD home from swim practice.
-
Chance and Lexi say good evening ladies.
-
Woo-Hoo! The gang's all here!
-
How was your day, MammaRay?
Shep, my DH can be messy too.
-
I'm back! Gah.... Marti and Pris are worse than little kids. I was all settled down with my tablet upstairs and the two of them started acting up. Pris was running up and down the stairs yowling, her little feet sounding like a herd of elephants, and Marti was at the bottom of the stairs woofing in her deep bossy voice. Brats! Marti can't do the stairs anymore and can't stand it if I am upstairs - especially if Pris is with me. If Marti is stressing, Pris will go stay with her.....unless she decides I need to go down too! Surprised FF didn't wake up 😬
MammaRay ~ What's so silly about the pic? We all ganstas! Ha!
-
Awww...Lexi is adorable too!
-
Poor Marti
Pris is a good sibling
FF must be in his REM sleep snoring away.
-
We are your "other siblings", Mamma. I hereby promise to listen and not give advise.
-
Heard about it, but have not seen it. I am movie illiterate.
-
I wouldn't mind having some ganstas in me. I looking for a wild night.
Shep looks like Sensi has better behaved pets, and I bet Loverly does too. I think your naughtiness has rubbed off on Marti and Pris.
Mamma we are here for you. Hope tomorrow is better for you.
Does anybody remember ratfink rings, I think most of you are younger then me. Let's post pictures of goofy things from our youth.
-
Ohh Loverly.....DH put his cloths NEXT to the laundry basket? That would be an improvement here! FF leaves his clothes, dishes, whatever, everywhere!
Remember How I needed a ramp at the front door to get my John Deere scooter out by myself? It took forever, but FF finally set one up last August. I had been on crutches for two months by then. He got mad at me 'cuz he went to alllll that trouble and here it was weeks later and I hadn't even bothered to use it. He just couldn't understand WHY. The 1st pic is the ramp....the next pic is my scooter parked in the rear corner of the dining room.............. (ssshhh, don't tell anyone, so embarassing 😳)
-
I can't keep up with you girls!
Lookie.......
What was a ratfink ring? I do still have my Official Monkees ring! It looks like this one:
Rememger when bubble gum machines had cool stuff?
-
hmmm. One of my post disappeared! Guess it wasn't ment to be. Here's one for you ladies with messy husbands 😉.
-
Sensi ~ Sad but true 😥
Here's another one for you Lookie - Remember Mystery Date? I inherited my Auntie's game, late 1950's maybe? My friends and I would play that if you got the "dud" you would automatically win 'cuz he looked more fun than the other guys!
-
No I don't know that game, but it looks interesting. I did wear hot pants.
