Shirley and Lorenzo are fabulous
-
JuniperCat ~ How could your other kitties resist that sweet face? I'm sure he had them at "Meow" ......All cats should have such lovely mittens
-
Saw this and and had to share:
-
I thought you'd enjoy this.
Nailed it.
-
lol!! I love it! we certainly are crazy cat ladies!
-
shepkitty, they are so territorial and finicky and stuck in their ways that introducing a new cat had me nervous....they took to Lorenzo because he isn't an alpha and they sensed he wasn't a threat. I have one very difficult cat, Ricky, who is impossible: he is a super Alpha. He's physically tiny but boy oh boy is he a bully. He's diabolically smart and highly territorial (he owns the kitchen).
-
Ricky ... the bad boy of the kitchen ... little bully
-
Oh! Another Toothless!
-
Well, I'll jump in here with a cute memory:
Sadly, this boy went missing a few years back....but he sure loved beer! LOL.
-
I'm loving all of the photos of the kitties!!!
This is Gus. He and his brother Django (who is living with a lovely couple in Santa Cruz) came into the San Jose Animal Care Center at the age of approximately 4 weeks. I help run the Save A Kitten San Jose Facebook page. I lobbied for a foster. Found one. They were delivered, but the foster freaked out because they were covered in fleas so she dropped them off at my house. I picked up Gus and he hissed at me. All .7 pounds of him.
He had to be bathed, and sprayed with flea spray and he was so miserable he wouldn't eat, so I had to force feed him with a syringe. On the 4th day he started eating on his own and then I picked him up and he purred. That was it. He has owned me ever since.
And as a kitten. He still sleeps with me every night and loves to sit in my lap. He's my heart cat. -
What a sweetheart!
-
He's gorgeous
-
Love them all, but I'm pretty sure that Gus stole my heart.....
-
He has such soulful eyes
-
Thanks everyone!! As I said - he's my heart cat. He's also a bit of a pervert - he's between the screen and the window in the photo - he does this all the time when I'm sitting at the table. Cracks me up. I call him creeper Gus. The "ear furnishings" are not as dramatic any longer, but he does still have them.
-
The boys feeling cozy on a rainy Saturday morning.
-
Such cute snuggle buddies!!
-
So many adorable pics to enjoy!
)
-
Such pretty kitties.....although Seachain's scares me!
Ohhh Gus, those tufty ears and giant paws
-
JuniperCat ~ Tell Ricky if he doesn't play nice the other kitties might gang up and end his kitchen "reign"!
-
Love all the pictures - CJ lovely to see you here. A great big welcome to you and Gus. What amazing ears, stunning.
Shep my DH bought me that mug for Christmas a couple of years ago. When it got broken so he bought me another . He got DS the "Everything tastes better with cat hair" one.

-
Loving the red shoes on the kitten under the counter.
-
feelingfeline ~ Look at what I found! Gone with the Wind with Cats! Susan Herbert just may be my new favorite artist
CJ ~ It's bad enough I may or may not have clothes for my cat; I want some ruby slippers too. Most importantly though..... We need more Gus!!!!
-
I LOVE the Gone with the Wind Cats! How cool!
Gus went through a really bratty phase when he liked to hid under the computer and attack my hands as I typed.
-
I love all of the kitties! I want to give them all hugs. Have any if you seen Fat Cat Art? It's a Russian woman who inserts her fat orange tabby into famous artwork. Google it. You won't regret it
-
I stayed with a housefull of kittens last weekend in Philly. Here is one trying to climb Mount Human!
-
Oooh Naughty Gus & sweet baby kitty!
jlstacey ~ Love the Fat Cat Art....I need a Mona Lisa !
-
Hi JlStacey (waving) Fat Cat Art artist is fantastic. ran across the art a couple of years ago but did not realise she was a female artist,
Love GWTW Cats!
Love Mount Human!
Goodness Gus what a place to hide!
-
I HAD to share this. Just because this little one is so absolutely adorable, and the way it poses (I don't know if it's a he or a she, the slimness looks more like a she but the countenance more like a he). No matter the gender, the star quality is definitely there.
