RIP, Errol (age 12

Memes, my 4th cat. Found at the park starving to death....she's probably the best behaved and loving cat of all.
Max, the manx. Spoiled snob.
Toph (semi feral siamese rescue) & Max sharing the bed
Salem, another Manx
All of them rescued....
-
Juniper, Sorry for your loss. It's always too soon for us. Hugs.
-
Juniper, I am so sorry you had to put one of your special one's down today. (((((HUGS)))))))
I swear that there is a special kind of grief that goes with having to send a furry one on ahead. I know that, at least for me, that is true. The grief is so very different. Maybe it's because they are so less complicated that humans, and perhaps more "pure" or something.
My avatar is my Blues. I had to put her down almost 4 years ago. And 10 weeks later, I had to put down her sister, Rhythm. The pain was excruciating. And if I think about it too much today, I end up in a puddle of tears all over again.
-
juniper, so sorry to hear about your kitty.
Marie, you said it beautifully about losing one of our furry friends.
-
thank you for your kind words... only people who have cats understand this .... I love the photos of your kitties ... keep posting!!!
-
So sorry, Juniper.
-
CJ ~ Jamie is posed picture perfect! If his eyes were blue, he'd look like a little Siberian Tiger. Love his "grey". How sweet Arya has found her "true love".....there's something special about a man who loves cats! Please do tell us that Tyrion is wee
Everyone has such lovely kitties!
-
Juniper ~ So sorry you had to say goodbye to your Errol. What a regal looking gentleman he was; such gorgeous eyes. (((hugs)))
-
thank you so much...how lovely
-
so sorry for your loss Juniper. As someone else said it's a special kind of sadness.... GG
-
PERSIAN ANGEL...........oh that face!
-
-
Juniper - so sorry to hear about Errol. My thoughts are with you today. That is so hard.
Seachain - Seamus and Conner are just adorable!! I love their ginger coloring and Irish names!!
Lessharp - I think the rescued ones (cats or dogs) truly appreciate a good home. Memes is beautiful. Max deserves to be a snob - he's a manx and look at that face! Toph is beautiful as well, and I have a soft spot for Torties.
Shepkitty - nah, Tyrion is regular sized, but he was the least attractive of this litter (and he's not ugly - just a normal tabby). The litter is gorgeous, too bad they became a victim of the system - they were in temp foster with a very busy woman, but who ended up keeping them for 3 months in her bathroom because we had no other place for them. They are all very skittish. Jamie will approach me for pets, and Snow will sleep on the bed, but Tyrion will sit near me but he won't let me pet him.
Snow is below. He's a gorgeous Russian Blue
Tyrion is a tough one to capture on camera but here he is enjoying a kitten pile.
-
Juniper sincere condolences.
RIP sweet Errol.

thank you for your kind thoughts...I'm loving loving loving these beautiful cats your posting photos of

lessharp ~ How do you say Memes name? Meeems like the internet or Meh-may like the French word for grandma? Please post pictures of those Manx tails! Are they climbers? My little bob tail does't have much of a "rudder" to keep her balanced. She is almost 2 and just discovered tree "climbing". She runs like heck, jumps as high as she can and then splats herself onto the tree trunk. She then carefully sits in the "V" of the branches untol she decides to leap down. She is silly
CJ ~ Tyrion looks like a serious guy; those eyes are so penetrating. He is lovely! Though I am disappointed he isn't a Munchkin Cat..... My heart kitty was the same shade of grey as your pretty Snow. Such a sad beginning your crew had. Amazing they accept anyone at all after being isolated so long. They most know how much you love them
And they get to pile on GUS! Lucky cats.
Juniper ~ thinking of you today and sending more ((hugs))

Pris the "tree splatterer"
-
brilliant photo!!!!
-
I LOVE that photo of the glorious Pris!!
-
I have one more kitty to share. This is my first foster, Dolce (now Maggie) and 2 of her 3 her kittens (Allegro and Zorro) who have all found good homes. Maggie rules my daughter's household and scolds her if she's late.
She's a friendly sweet funny cat. She will not be adding to the kitten population and more. And yeah, we have a thing for Maine Coons with little white paws...

-
beautiful fluffy momma and kittens!!!
-
There is a happy ending in sight and also an amazing mew at the end of the video
-
FeelingFeline - I really wonder about people who would do such things. We had one come into the San Jose Animal Care Center who was called Smurf. I haven't looked but he's probably on this somewhere. Nine Lives took him in and he's turn into a beautiful gray kitty who is happy and healthy. http://metro.co.uk/2016/01/11/rescued-purple-smurf-kitten-finds-new-home-5615303/
-
Wow, poor mite, but thank God he ended up with the angels at your rescue centre!
-
I'm going to get a little silly here, but I'm so thankful for my Gus. Last night I was laying wide awake, unable to sleep, and Gus curled up into my arms, and started purring. I swear, I was sound asleep in 10 minutes.
-
Cj - lovely. Sounds purrfect. My Arthur wouldn't be caught dead doing that (sadly for me). He is one of those cats that people who don't have cats think all cats are like. He doesn't do laps. First thought begins and ends with himself. And we love him. We're only human.
