Dear sweet Rosevalley,
I bless you everyday when I drain from my belly...your very existence and your sage advice have so improved my life! Thank you!
Thanks too for sending more storm clouds south to us in parched California.
Here's our northern horizon this afternoon:
And our very full, very happy pond. So many critters drink there year-round. To know they won't thirst is a blessing too.
-
And the shrubs are blooming in joy:
Ceanothus, California lilac. I so wish I could waft the scent your way!
The apples and pears are happy in bloom too:
Okay, I'm not sure plants have human feelings, but I feel happy seeing them so lush and full of life.
Sending much loving kindness for you, dear Rosevalley...and extending it out to all, Stephanie

Happy Easter Rose, to you and all your family.

Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates it. Thank you for the kindness and pictures. We have started taking our DD3 to an all Deaf church and it has been an experience. Everything is signed we will go this morning too. She seems to connect with the community and needs the support. So Happy "Resurrection Day" as my daughter's old Russian violin teacher would say. Blessings this Hippity Hoppy day.. I feel resurrected after what I have been through.
My DD2 will drive down from college for a vegan Easter dinner. I need to make vegan vanilla cup cakes. I promised. She loves them and they are easy to make. I will have mock chicken, roasted sweet potatoes and chickpeas (roasted in maple pecan syrup) with vegies over brown rice. Then the rest of us will eat pulled pork which is in the crock pot stinking up the entire house. I love my crockpot. It makes life easy. Kind of a weird Easter dinner but everyone wanted Mexican... red rice and beans with pulled pork. Chase it with Easter candy. My DH and I have a new addiction Tropical flavored Jelly Beans.. we couldn't leave them alone. Sigh... no willpower. Kiwi and coconut flavored ones.. wow. Love to all.
-
Sounds wonderful and exciting. I love coconut flavored Jelly Beans. Have not tried Kiwi ones. Have a blessed Easter.
-
hahaha! Rose that made me laugh! What a wonderful dinner that will be! And such precious time with your family! Blessings
-
where are you.. Miss you
Love

Rosevalley- wishing you and your family a happy Easter. You have personally been resurrected, I believe.
I once had a Russian violin teacher too!
-
Rose, your Easter dinner sounds just perfect. Everyone's favorite foods.
How wonderful you found a church for DD3. I'm glad she's connecting with a community. And so nice that DD2 was able to spend the day with you.
And the most wonderful thing of all: your resurrection! Happy Easter to you and your family. 😍

Well ya'll the weather has turned sunny in our land of rain and (drum roll....ta da..) I am nearing the date of our 27th Anniversary!!! I wanted to reach this date. Thursday the 31st... we didn't want to get married on April fools day. Haha. I would have thrown in the towel New Years where I spent the day in the ER intractable vomiting and pain, unbearable misery, kidneys shutting down. Here I survived and plan to walk though a garden on a Sunny day! Enjoy the spring flowers and DH's company! Not many things last 27 years. Thanks be to Faslodex and my unexpected reprieve.... oh and prayers and lovingkindness of strangers. Lets not forget that!! I am excited there will be sunshine 70 degree temps and DH is taking a vacation day. Gratitude runneth over. Nothing is going to spoil our day. Blessings to you all!!
-
Happy Anniversary to you, Rose and your DH!! Enjoy your special day!!!
-
Happy Spring! Warmer weather, green plants peeking out of the dirt, and fresh air to comfort us. You are not alone.

Happy Anniversary Rose. My 37th is April 23rd.We have a trip planned to Napa with my "posse" who stand with me through everything. There are beautiful gardens of every flower imaginable and too many roses to count. Wonderful fruit trees.....and ours to enjoy as we stay on the winery grounds. I'll post picks so you can walk through the gardens with me! Love, Brenda
