Rosie,
So glad to hear this great news! And that you are able to eat again!
*happy dance

Blakea gracilis- flowers are white with sweet scent. Not sure if the fruit is edible. This plant can be found in Central and South America (Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Brazil, and Peru).
So happy to hear you are making a turn. May the tumor markers continue to go down.
-
Rosevalley- blooms on the fruit trees here in NM this week.
-
It makes my heart sing to see all these lovely flowers. It is sunny here Daffodils and Camilia's are out and the Indian plum is white and in full flower. we have had so much rain and it makes me thrilled to enjoy the sun. Like that verse from Eccles: "Truly the light is sweet and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun!"
Blessings to you all. I hold you all in the light ( ) palms together in gratitude.
-
Thinking of you and hoping that you have some relief.

Two for you this evening, dear Rosevalley!
These are a couple of blooming euphorbias:
These beauties are thigh high, but I've seen euphorbias in every size from tiny cactus to small trees. Most folks know the poinsettias, but not their odder cousins.
Opening heart and mind to life...Stephanie

I love the photos. Thank you. Not feeling to great tonight. Never know what is safe to eat and got sick over dinner. I am sick (pardon the pun) of being sick. puked after over a week of no puking. It's better and I can eat a little, but no where near approaching normal. I see the oncologist tomorrow, Tumor marker results and more faslodex. Maybe the faslodex has stopped working. Can't tell. We have a play to go to tomorrow and are taking the kids. I need to pull it together all day 9-9pm... wish me luck.
-
Best wishes Rose. 12 hours is a long time! Wishing you stamina and favorable results tomorrow.

Beautiful flowers on our walk path:

sending strength your way! Much love

Rosevalley- I hope you are feeling better and that you were able to get to the kids play
-
Redbud in the yard. I love the beauty of the fresh, rosy flowers with the beauty of the aged seed pods. Don't we carry the beauty of youth and age within our souls? Our bodies too.
love for you every single day, dear Rosevalley!

Well I have to hand it to you folks.. your prayers and well wishes are mighty powerful! My tumor markers went from 1081 to 929 in 2 weeks! Despite my minor set back yesterday, breaking my no puking record for 1.5 weeks - things are looking up. I am able to keep fluids down and drink Boost and eat a little light low roughage food to survive. Life is sweet. Thank you for your kindness and caring it lifts my spirits on this long rough road!
-
Rosevalley- I am glad to hear you are doing better and the tumor markers are down
-
Rosevalley, I am so happy and relieved to hear that you are feeling better, eating better, and your tumor markers are down. All great, positive signs! I'm hoping and praying you continue to improve
-
Good Morning Rosie! Let's just hang it all up, and forget all the awful stuff for a day, and go for a nice peaceful walk!
That was good news from your appointment, right? Thinking of you always.... xoxoxo

(((ROSE))) So happy to hear that your TM dropped!! **happy dance**

Such sweet news, sweet Rosevalley!
I was told that faslodex usually takes 3-6 months to act, so yours is a particularly fast-acting situation.
Hurray!
You so need relief from N&V and a steadier, more expansive life.
To think, you were able to write to us after your 12 hour day.
Hope you enjoyed the play and time with your beloved family.
Beautiful sunrise in N. California. Thanks for sending some rain storms our way. After 4 years of drought, possible flooding predicted this weekend.
Here's a hound's tongue bloom. They're relatives of forget-me-nots, a common and often invasive garden flower.
I will forget-you-not, dear Rosevalley!

Yes to have the markers drop so in such a short time is unusual. I think my 15 year old prayers were answered. She needs a Mom. The play yesterday was terrific. The kids enjoyed it. The story of Anne Frank and her spirit lives on. Powerful story of the will of the human spirit under punishing odds. Kind of like cancer patients... against the cancer we still cultivate a fierce will to live. Life is sweet like the incredible blue in the flower above - delicate and exquisite and fleeting. Enjoy and marvel while you can!
Thank you for your support. It means so much.
-
Rose, thank you for sharing the wonderful news and for showering us all with happiness for you!
-
Rosevalley, so very happy for you! Please continue improving! Looking forward to more good news !

Fantastic news, Rose! I am so happy for you!
I just took a trip to Seattle and went out to Orcas Island. Here are a few photos for you!
This is a pano of Puget Sound from the tower

and a close up of some of the beautiful moss

yay to the good news!
-
I love the photos of Seattle forests... beautiful. Doesn't the moss look like a mini forest? We have a magnolia tree in out back yard and it is just thinking about opening! Can't wait to see it's sunny creamy pink petals. Blessings to you all. I wish you well - happy days and pain free nights.
