OLLIE OLLIE OXENFREE! c'mon out, ladies, it's safe now! my turn's over.
Hmm. Tangible, but most wouldn't think of it so. We all have this X, male and female, this country and that.
8. Can it be measured, in a scientific sense? (has it weight, or scent, or length, or taste, or color, or temperature?)

Thinking of the researcher who claimed he measured the weight of the soul at 21 grams.
-
11. no Wow!, 21 grams.

RE the 20Q game, I'm still pondering...
-
Ponder on, my dear, but I have to sign off for supper now.

Happy Easter, or whatever you are celebrating.
moo
-
And a happy whatever-you-celebrate to you, OncoWarrior. I'll sign off and contemplate for the night.
Confess I was rather wondering about "soul" myself, which is why I'd asked about the scientifically measurable thing.
-
I'm logging off, too, have a good night all.
-
So I was not the only one who thought it was the soul either? Thinking hard here.,
-
12. Are you never fully dressed without it?
-
A quick check in while I make Easter dinner. Wishing you all a good day!!
Feelingfeline said the word but didn't put in a question. I'm wondering if:
13. Is it a smile?
-
-
-
12. not relevant to being dressed.
13. ceanna, you are a great detective. I was wondering if feline was dropping a suggestion or innocently making a comment earlier.
Yes, SMILE.
Here is a very nice little page about the song. Music composed by Charles Chaplin.
-
I like Charlie Chaplin. Didn't know he composed Smile.
Good job Ceanna.
-
Ha Ha! I was referring to the lines in the song You're never fully dressed without a smile" What a clever idea for the game.
-
I wouldn't have guessed smile without Feelingfeline saying the word and KayG's line about not being dressed without...
I am overbooked in the next couple of days and would really prefer, time wise, not to run a category. Would FF or Kay please run the next one since you both had the answer before I did? Thanks.
-
Smile was a great one Onco.
For any non-members of the Chaplin fan club - Charlie Chaplin came from one of the bleakest, direst childhoods you could imagine. He was also a genius. Unlike many a genius he managed to live a pretty balanced and happy life. He wrote soundtracks for nearly all his films, sometimes not credited. He is the only man to have written, directed, acted, and scored his own films. The Oscar (finally) given him in 1973 was for composition of the score of Limelight.
Ceanna I won a family ticket to see a cinema live screening of a London play "The Railway Children" (directed by Kenneth Brannagh) this afternoon (GMT) but will happily set a quiz and check in later. Apologies for gaps but anyone coming on just go ahead and leave me your questions....
