Lived through surgery

Kandy, how are you feeling? You have been through so much, your story is incredible, not walking since September. Hopefully walking is in your very near future. It's amazing how much joy just the thought of a grandchild can bring - even someone else's, thanks for letting us share in your joy! Mimi - I love it.

I will definitely post some pics of my little man. Still so excited to be a Mimi. I am still doing well. I am amazed myself at how well I feel considering I was sawed in half. Every day is a little better. I go next Wednesday to get my stitches out. I just can't wait for that. I still have an unbelievable amount of swelling, use ice all the time. None of my clothes fit yet but I do think my stomach and leg has came down some. Of course, I still am on narcotics. I hopefully can get off some of that soon. I think all of you are wonderful. Everyone amazes me at how excited they get for others milestones. Y'all are the only people that truly understands. I do wish all of you the best. I pray for each and everyone of you. Thank you all for caring.

Kandy,
I'm so happy to read that you're feeling a little better each day!!! That was no easy surgery, and that's a severe understatement I think. By August you should be ready to be Mimi:) Such a sweet relationship you have with your grandson already… can't wait to see the photos!
Sending love…
Rose.

Hi Kandy, I was thinking of you yesterday, wondering how you were healing, and was so happy to see your updates when I logged on today. Please be careful not to overdo, I'm sure that will be a temptation as you start feeling better. Just so happy to think of you up and about and in much less pain after all you have been through! Yea Mimi!

Kandy, I'm so happy to hear how well you're doing. Thinking back to when you were contemplating the surgery and how it seemed like there wasn't a good choice. Your healing and recovery is amazing and I'm so relieved for you. Good luck on Wednesday, I'm sure you're glad to be getting the stitches out.

happy Easter! I hope you had a blessed day with family

I had an awesome day. My family had a cookout. My daughter came of course with my little man to be. I had got him an Easter card and candy for his mom. Told him I hope he enjoyed it, lol. He's the greatest.
