a ball moves, skate board, those kind of things I think. But queenie is much much better than I:
-
Can anyone use this thing, or is it specific to adults vs children?
-
Susan, I am an analytical person by nature but Queenie is pretty amazing. I think skate board is no good, because it has moving parts? A ball can move if a person throws it, but I imagine that this thing can move on it's own - I think that is what she means. I just can't imagine something smaller than a breadbox that moves and is not mechanical. Maybe a balloon filled with helium fits the bill or a lava lamp? Hopefully Queenie will help us.
We also need to think about her comment that she hopes most people do not have it in their house?
-
yes, and really smaller than a bread box, and something we see often outside, that moves, and we don't want it in the house. Can't even come up with a quess.
-
Insects are animals correct? It can't be an insect, right? They are also mechanical, right?
-
Is it a swing??
-
I think that is too big, she said smaller than a bread box.
-
music..I googled insects...learned a lot of new words...lol
-
Oh my goodness, I had no idea. I just ask questions to try to get an idea. I was just trying to figure out how it was a common sighting, yet Ducky said she certainly hopes most people don't have it in their houses. I actually was think roaches or mice, but thought they were animals not things. Then I was thinking something you might see in a park, but not sure what that would be. Park bench came to mind, but that is too big. I think you're right ML, you have to watch Ducky, I think asking if it's illegal is a good question.
-
I was thinking roaches also but I don't think they fit the bill. I wish she would log back in and check out what is going on here....maybe she can point us in a better direction....
-
I got nuttin' just now, except that I'm assuming it's NOT a verminous pest, such as mouse or roach, because they're not things according to the rules of Twenty Questions. Still not quite sure how I got the reputation of being the incredibly intelligent one....
Just hoping for an answer to "Is it illegal?" though I'd hope for a variant of "Is this something I'd feel comfortable discussing with my twelve year old nephew?"
-
Hi everyone, you are having too much fun tonight and I missed it. Just checking in before an early to bedtime tonight.
In reading the clues, could it be something in sports like a baseball or tennis ball--something you wouldn't want thrown in the house as opposed to being in the house??? Now, ducky, I'm not asking those as a question, but as a possible point as queen, kay, ML, kayak, susan, and others discuss.
Good night and good luck.
-
Queenie, No thoughts on something that moves but is not mechanical? Are the examples I gave good?
OH, I just thought of something.....she is tricky!!!
How about.....SNOW!!!! Is it snow Ducky? Does that fit all of the criteria????
9. A snowflake?
-
This game really makes you think, I may not be correct but we'll see.
-
Music Lover, that is a brilliant suggestion. I think you have it! I have definitely seen enough snow for a while.
Good night all!
-
Possibly a ball, whether tennis or baseball or some such.
Snow and/or snowflake?
-

-

You sure did girlfriend.......now do we wait for the rest of the world to wake up................I was on my IPad last night, but for "shit" pertaining to this damn move on Saturday.........I have stuff I hve to get rid of, good things....and entire BR set, Breakfast room set, etc that no one can use...............and I am 2 hours away from the house, and that does not help......can't even be there if someone wanted to see it.....and a son that is surely losing his patience (with good reason) with regard to what is going where........and this friggin snow did not help...........so I was busy doing tht crap, trying to find places who will take the stuff......... -
No worries...we had fun at your expense (sorry) but you notice that no one would actually asked one of those questions we were teasing about. You sound like you have some stress going on, I am sorry to hear about that. Hopefully it will get worked out soon. Where is the house that has the stuff that you need to get rid of?
-
Cape May, ;NJ.......not sure you know, but it is being sold.......and is furnished completely, but being sold unfurnished......long story......kids took some, grandkids some, but so much remains......sad.......and it's a vacation home 2 hours always. Only makes it harder, plus winter, and snow.....not my idea to sell this time of the year, but had no other choice then to wait for later in the year....it went on the market at the end of August......got a bid (not what it is worth).....settlement on Feb 26th........but if I waited it meant opening the pool, etc......but I took the offer, and here I am.....snow and all, and a son who is losing his patience........

Wow that is nice! I wish I had some ideas for you. How about using Graig's list for selling those items?
-
-
oh Ducky that is beautiful! I would love to have a vacation home down the shore. Sorry you had to sell. I know there is a lot of work, expense and worry that goes along with the fun.
