ML, yes, most of the time it is powered. HINT: historically not powered.
-
14. A heater? I am not really thinking this through... made of wood is the problem with this one.
15. A lamp or some lighting fixture? Candles were used before electricity.
-
Good night everyone...I'll fin out tomorrow unless I wake up in the middle of the night and check it.
-
doesn't everybody have an electric step stool ??? Lol
I am not sure we are going to get this with 50 questions. Lol
And we use it every day??. I don't even use my brain every day....as apparent by my ineptness here...lol.
-
This is so weird, I submitted answers to ML's last two questions, but they never showed up even though I've refreshed my screen. I'll try again but sorry if this is a repeat.
14. Not a heater.
15. Not a lamp or light fixture, but (hint) could be lighted.
-
A clock???
-
17. A telephone? I like Susan's answer better! Can't fall asleep yet.
-
Yes, susan, a clock!!!!
-
Your turn Susan.
A clock can be inside or out (think clock tower), wood or metal, it's useful, can be entertaining if a glockenspiel or cuckoo clock, any size from tiny digital clocks to Big Ben, most people have one, wind up clocks or antique clocks are not powered by electric or battery, there are many different types and styles, we use them daily, they can be useful in the kitchen if we are timing something we are baking, and some have lighted faces. Sorry it seemed so hard. ML, you can sleep now!!!
-

Thing...............
-
Nope, not scared off!
1. Does it have moving parts? (more specifically, does it require moving parts to function in all its forms, should there be multiple forms--for example toothbrush and stepstool wouldn't count here)
2. Is it a unique thing? (e.g. Mount Everest, Big Ben)
-
1..yes.....Ok....it moves.....but stop thinking "moving parts"..it is not mechanical.
2.....No, not unique..common sighting.....And not a landmark,

5. larger than a breadbox?
-
3.Yes it can be used for entertainment,
4..No nothing at all to do with TV
5..No, it is very small forget breadbox
-
6. Is it something most people have in their house?
-
6...LMAO.......I certainly hope not.......No
-
7. Is it something you would see outside in a public place?
-
Ok Kay, what are you thinking?
8. Is it illegal to own??
-
LOL, I thought of the same question. It sounds like she talking about drugs or something from an adult shop. We have got to watch this Ducky....I am more of a June Cleaver type enjoying my mopping.
I also wonder if this a weapon of some sort, a gun? I just realized that it can't be drugs because she said that it has moving parts.
-
MusicLover: no, this thing moves, but it doesn't have moving parts as such--it isn't mechanical. So not any of the more interesting toys one might find at an adult shop. Or a gun. But this doesn't rule out (clears throat circumspectly) paraphernalia.
Though I admit nothing. I am innocent. No comment.
-
boy oh boy, you guys...I was thinking some kind of fireworks...where are your minds....lol
-
Queenie, Can you give an example of a thing that moves without moving parts? Like an air balloon?
