Sounds like the "nurse kitty tortie", Elmo and "Old Lady" were great cats, loved and mourned. Nice to know I am not the only one so attached.
KCM- KI picture fix will have to wait a week. It sounds like a wonderful group of folks. Safe travels.

My son in law wants a Maine Coon. He says playfulness is a breed characteristic.
-
Maine Coons are wonderful cats---big and bouncy. We had a female when I was growing up and she was not at all affectionate until she was elderly.
-
My first cat was a short haired calico. She would play fetch for hours.
-
Ok..have internet for a bit! You remember Woody - the kitten on the log who was rescued from the river? Here he is today...
-
And you remember the momcat who was buried under the kittens? They're still growing! She looks like she's so over it.
-
Wow that momma has her paws full.
Woody is so FLUFFY!
Hopefully there will be a queue forming to offer homes to all these beauties - Mommas included.
-
Teka a maine coon is getting sappy with age! ;o)
-
this is Riley. She's doing 3 jobs this morning: lap warmer, iPad holder, and helping me play Words.
-
-
a multifunctional kitty!
-
Kiwi, Can that poor Mom cat escape? Those kittens look big enough to feed themselves with cat food. Our Mom cat would just walk off when her big kittens wanted to nurse.

Riley is beautiful!
Wren, momcat (Evie) can escape. They're being fostered. Their bed is in the crate, but the crate door is left open 99% of the time. I'm not sure if they're confined to a room or free range in the house (can't remember who's fostering them). So, she does get a break. I don't know why she's still nursing them, but the momcat I fostered nursed them until they were beyond weaned and ready to be desexed. In retrospect, I wish I'd kept her another week or so because one of the kittens (that I kept) still tries to suckle and I think she wasn't quite ready to be away from mom. This is Evie's third litter (sad, huh) so I'm guessing she knows what she's doing. But her kittens are huge! Wondering if dad is part Maine Coon or similar.
This isn't a KI photo, but too cute not to share. A rescue kitten after his first solid food. Love the bib.
-
Oh that is pictured kitten is ADORABLE - and what a great shot!
-
.More KI kitten porn. Three weeks old.
-
aaah.
That black kitten looks like she or he's giving a massage to the tabby kitten!
-
FF - or being a preacher announcing the tabby is healed.
-
Yup, he is definitely laying on paws...(hands)

Just found this thread. Love the pics of the cats! I'm a total crazy cat lady and here is a pic of my 16.5 year old cat, Pippy Girl Seamour. She's the love of my life and the reason I get up in the morning (because she's on a special diet).
-
What great cats!
-
She's beautiful!
-
Six days old and already knows how to pose. :
-
Piscean - welcome and what a beautiful lady in your life. Beautiful shot of her in the sunlight.

*WOW*
-
love the latte art!!
-
Yep definitely should be a "must take photo of this before drinking" rule for an artwork like that
-
Are there classes in coffee art? Amazing!
-
there must be classes, I've heard of competitions.
