INSOMNIACS place to talk in the wee hours

Oh darn lost my post.
Patty, you can tell us anything your heart desires. It's just good having you back here with us keeping this crew in line.
Chevy, thank you for keeping us informed about Theresa. I was asking about her in my post that is now somewhere in cyberspace. Oh dear, this is not good news. I will keep her in my prayers.
Hope everyone in TX is ok.
Sas, take it easy with that med you are taking. It has such a nasty side effect on you.
Hope everyone is having a good day.

Kathy, this was just plain ole tramadol, a non opiod pain reliever. I have inherited abnormal liver genetics---rare, rare, rare. Anything that goes through 3A4(slow) & 3A5 (fast and super rare). pain started late and I finally gave in, I knew this would happen. Been there done that. I just deal with it. If I take a pain reliever that goes through those routes, basically, they last for plus or minus 24 hours. Normal people get 4-6 hours.
The one I posted about last week, Baclofen is not supposed to go through those routes. Just tells me I have another weird thingy. Thanks for caring though Hugs
How did your DGS do with his report for school about his visit?
Chevy posted awhile back about using the PREVIEW. It's reduced my lost post allot. It's a save thing. You save and are able to edit. Then when you hit final submit, it's all complete with the edit's and stuff. Mags posted recently that she lost a post even with using preview. Possibly it was in this time period that the sun is doing it's weird geomagnetic thing. It's messing with electronic/internet/communications world wide. I haven't checked to see if it's calmed down yet. Assuming it hasn't based on how many times my internet connection is being messed with.
-
Chevy so sorry about Theresa. You've been close for so long. You have been such great friends. I hate it when they put people in diapers. It's so wrong. It's not because she needs to be in diapers, they need to offer toileting either bedpan or bedside commode more often.
-
Patty, most generally, Friday night till Sunday afternoon or evening is slow here. You just sound so good. Love it when you are ChattyPatty.
So, what's up with DH and the Boys?
-
YOU HOOOOOOOOO LILGOAT'S DID YOU DROWN?
-
SAS - Preview isn't working right again since the last update. You can no longer save in 'preview' and check previous pages. I've sent a couple of messages to the MODS, so hopefully it will get fixed soon.
-
MT yay, you are here.
I never checked previous pages in preview. But I do open two browsers, read one and post in the other.
-
SAS - you know I have to check up on you occasionally!!! Glad the pain meds worked.
-
Yes, Ms. CHEVY, let the young man finish your painting next year. You don't want another pulled or inflamed muscle. I can see that DD1 resembles both you and DH. Cool pic.
I wonder if Ms. Theresa has congestive heart failure. I hope they can keep her comfortable.
ChattyPatty is back. Few days ago people were looking for you and this morning you were well enough to go look for the Insomniacs?? Haha. Did you know that they sleep in on the weekends.
Ms. Sas, can't win, huh? There got to be something out there that should work for you. Have you tried Lyrica?? Sorry you are cornered with limited choice. Oh,the trees you were inquiring about on Patty's thread are aspens.
-
BTW, preview didn't work for me even before the geomagnetic phenomenon.
-
Chevy, did your Grandma know you used Comet to clean her dentures? Oh my!
-
No, but I use Comet too! And I mix that with Clorox Clean-up and water, and clean them everyday with a denture brush!
Yes Loverly, I had been thinking of that... I looked it up, and it sounds pretty similar to all her symptoms... I'll ask Judy when she calls... And now we DO have our own HANDYMAN! Ha! What a relief....
I think so also Sass.... but I can't or won't tell them that... She could at least sit up on a wheel-around potty chair... But Judy said when they touch her legs, she just screams... so maybe that is why they won't.
Sometimes I hit something on here, and I lose EVERYthing! It's just ME, and a magical thing I do on this keyboard... Ha!
-
sas - thanks for asking about my family. Dh and dss are dealing best the can. They are all worried with these weird neurological things going on. Do you hear what chevy is saying?
Chevy - oh wait ,hold the press. What's the young, shirtless, muscled up , 6 packabs guy doing on your roof? Gutters you say??? Hmm need a pic of that.
Hootie hoo
-
Chevy, praying for you and your friend. Hope you have do more close moments. Hang in there..
-
I'm so sorry Chevy about your friend. I hope she gets better, take her a pic of my man's black socks! Might perk her up. Yes, Patty, we got a little wild while you were gone.
Thanks for asking Sass but the rain slowed when the hurricane lessened. DH had to drive toward TX A&M today and said 3 exits were shut down from flooding but he got there fine. I'm glad he's there! Need my alone time.
Everyone feel better! I feel super duper today....
-
Chevy, I can't imagine what Comet would make your dentures taste like, but I will take your word for it that it works! I'm so sorry Theresa is not doing better. I hope she is more comfortable soon.
Glad your hubby got there safely, mema.
Going to try to catch some zzzz's, we'll see if it works.
-
Hope you get some zzzzz's, Cubbie. It's only 9:30 here. No interesting show on TV. We don't have cables or satellites. I miss HGTV and TLC. Good rest.
Mema, sometimes it's nice to have time alone.
Found a show on PBS on Klansville....scary and sad at the same time
-
CUBBIE! You RINSE that out, before you put them back in! Ha! My Aunt used to scrub hers with Clorox, to keep them whiter... and that combination really works... I just have a little jar, mixed with this magic solution... you want to buy some? You can't use it on your REAL teeth, I might add!
And Peppermint...don't pay any attention to me, if I say things we don't understand... Ha! ALSO! He had his shirt off? And I missed it? DAMN! He was smoking, I know that.... so it must have been good, whatever it was... Ha! He DID take his jacket off though.... And I sat there clapping, and stomping my good foot! I ran in and got my boom-box, and put on the theme from Magic Mike, but he was finished by then.....
You see you guys? Peppermint is a little better... the little tart!
Theresa is no better... Have to move her today, because the Insurance don't want people to stay in the Hospital.... They are trying to take care of the fluid around her lungs and heart... Give her pain meds, and it wipes her out... I just want to go spring her! Take her back to the way things were! So Judy & Steve are moving her somewhere today.... MUCH against Theresa's wishes... She is also Italian, so you know what THAT means! All hell will break loose when this happens...........She has a piss-ant attitude about things she don't like.... probably what's kept her going for this long.... That attitude just makes me crack-up when she gets going! She has so many problems going on right now, that I don't ever see her getting well enough to go back to San Marino Assisted Living... Rehab first, and if no improvement, to a nursing home.... Judy said... Theresa will make SURE they know these are not her wishes!
She would just be happy laying there, and fussin' and telling people off.... Did I mention she was stubborn? I hope she doesn't lose her "fire" for living.... and telling people what she thinks...
-
Oh wait Peppermint! Did I ever tell you my favorite thing is having a nice cup of hot coffee, and stir it with a Peppermint stick? Or peppermint pieces? It is soooooooooo good!
Look at THIS!
With CHOCOLATE? Damn! Okay, let's all gather-round the camp-fire, and have coffee like this, and sing 99 bottles of beer on the wall....
-
mc heavy, my mother in law was off the boat Italian. We took care of her at our house when she had brain cancer. Even with brain cancer she never lost that fighting spirit. Difficult and a hoot at the same time.
My mom and brother decided to go to her sisters instead of here for thanksgiving. My brother is the driver, and he has dismissed me, so grandma doesn't get to see her only grandchild either.she has never gone to her sisters for thanksgiving. Quite a statement my brother is making.
Went to a wedding in Milwaukee Saturday then stayed the night and went to the zoo the next day. Such fun. I love animals.
Have a good day everyone. Pain free I h

I hate spell check. That first word was supposed to be Chevy...noteven close

patty p, I love the felines. They move so effortlessly and are so beautiful. I also don't understand why my dog takes so much grooming, but all the tigers and other big cats always look beautiful with no groomers every 6 weeks. What's up with that. I also have a thing for alligators crocs and iguanas. I have a great pic of me and a iguana from Mexico. Gave to find it and post it. Hope you are feeling better Patty
Is it beauties birthday??pics are for beauty?.. Don't know how to space them bette
-
Yup Loverly's BIRTHDAY. Actually, it was two days ago, but she didn't tell us. A little songbird told me
-
Patty went to sleep at the normal time a normal Person(except Chevy) goes to bed had a great sleep. You are skinny kid. I haven't seen 100 since I was 21. Oh, those were the days. Even if I lost a hundred I wouldn't see a hundred.............
Cubbie, how'd you do with your surgery? When did you land on BCO? How did you find it? What's your plan? Monday's are quiet around here.
Susan, your brother is a cockroach. Did you ever have a clue before it all started coming out with the change in your mom's condition? Seems to me I asked that before, but (no pun) memory issues.
DBF is being a busy bee. 18 rolls of insulation in the attic and putting up a ceiling fan. I should think of some more honey do stuff while he's on a roll.
LILGOATS DO WE NEED TO GET A BOAT?
Mema you still in solitude? Does Dh work there during the week and home on weekends?
MT you coming back? Wasn't that a bit strange on the C thread with that poster? it was like she was looking for a fight? Or was it my imagination?
Spookie, you been quiet. What up?
