I watched the head of Alley Cat Project manage to get a feral/scared cat from a shelter cage into a carrier without handling her. It was an art. She put a towel over the carrier to make it dark and inviting to hide in. She has a catio and can put the cat in there to decide if it's really feral or just terrified.
-
More KI cuteness. The second one is not distressed; she just puts her ears flat every time the camera comes out.

-
hey Smaarty, whaddya mean you are not insanely attractive? Surely that describes everyone on here.
-
I mean just look at my avatar, if that's not insanely attractive what is?
-
Kiwi, those blue eyed babies! Precious.
-
You could sell a KITTEN CALENDAR!

I am a very bad cat who peed on the bedding after my humans refused a very polite request to go outside at 6:00 in the morning.
-
Don't blame me. I was out in the living room sleeping on top of the couch!
-
Yes! I just found another great thread.....II WOULD LOVE A BLACK CAT WITH BLUE EYES!!! This is my kitty, Esmerelda
-
-
Kiwi, Do their eyes stay blue? I can't remember seeing an adult cat with blue eyes except for Siamese.
-
-
Redheaded!! Hi lovely to see you here. Hah should have known! Welcome to the beautiful Esmerelda too.
-
-
Their eyes usually don't stay blue. I have two with blue eyes; my Himmie and a mutt cat who has lovely blue crossed eyes (Romeo). He doesn't look Siamese, but obviously there's some in there somewhere.
Lots of new KI pics; will try to post tomorrow...too tired tonight.

Maybe no one will notice me here -
my ragdoll, Dusty, has blue eyes
-
Alyson, he blends with the carpet.
So Miss Starkist is believed to have an UTI. Had to bring her to the vet this morning after she pee'd on me, in bed. He couldn't get a urine sample out of her so he started her on antibiotics anyway. She's been peeing outside the litter box for about a week. I thought it was because she was mad at us. But I think peering on me says hey, I hurt! Make me better! She's not crazy about the make me better part, but she seems to be feeling better after starting the meds.

Hi! I've ran a rescue for several years, but had to cut back drastically with the BC diagnosis. Cool thing is tho, a lot of other people stepped up to help and it's helped us grow! I'm still housing quite a few, but most are with fosters. We average close to 400 placements a year😄 not bad for a small rescue with just 2 adoption centers!!

There is a product called pill pockets, formulated for dogs, or cats. They look like play doh, smell vile, but when my dogs need pills, they snarf them down. Find them at big box pet stores.

My daughter's cat
-
Well done Catfurr.
-
monax5 - adorable! And what a tolerant kitty :-)
I asked for liquid antibiotics. Much easier to give kitty than a pill in my opinion.
-
posting these from The Donkey Sanctuary Ireland's facebook page. They have recently taken in a couple of kittens. one is called Simba.
-
Love the pics........love kittys......If Esmerelda wasn't so timid, I'd consider adding another one, but she really seems to need to be an only kitty. I've had her since Novemember of last year --she was at a Feline Rescue place for 3 months (they were picky about placing her--wanted her with older couple, or quiet single adult) She goes ballistic if you try to pick her up......They say she is a Lynx color point Siamese--she is quite vocal, but soft most of the time. My other Siamese was a chocolate point and he had the biggest meow. Didn't use it often, but when he did, he meant whatever he was saying......

Wonderful description! i can almost hear those meows.
