So enjoy seeing everyone's new photos and stories! I hope this thread stays active for a looooong time
Ruth, lovely photos of Henry and Oreo enjoying the fall time.
KiwiCatMom, sorry to hear about Cleo's baby, wow so sudden, reading that post just stopped me in my tracks, but on the bright side so glad that Cleo has a forever home now.
FeelingFeline, great actions shots of Arthur, boy he is quite the character! Lol!
ScrunchTheCat, your photo of The Brown Cat watering in the loo just cracked me up, what a pose! Very agile aren't they lol.
CAMommy, hopefully this phase will pass soon... wonder if they are picking up on the adjustment feelings of you and your family. Mine are pretty in tune with us. When we are stressed, the pets are stressed too. I'm sure everyone will get into their routines and settled in soon
Wren44, How is Rusty's mobility doing? Guess a broken pelvis is going to be long-term rehab. Hope you are sleeping better with Squeakers lol!!
Bounce sorry I don't have any suggestions to add. Our one cat sweetpea is not such a playful one either. She is content to sit and watch out the window, she adventures away outside for hours and sometimes overnight. We have just one cat who likes to play... Lily loves catnip mice, big paper bags, tinfoil balls and boxes. She also enjoys the bathroom tap left on just a touch for a few minutes a day so she can catch and drink the water.
Been away and cat-sitting for a friend, here is a picture of Tux, such a handsome dude, he's very sweet and loves his bathroom window...
And below is Lily, yes, same name as my grey cat Lily
This is how she greeted me as I unlocked their front door this morning... very confidently lying on top of a 5ft tall box! There is a piano seat nearby so I'm thinking that's how she got up there lol! -

Can I have a kiss? (more KI kittens)
-
how do you keep from not bringing every kitten home from the Kitten Inn? I would be in serious danger of doing that
-
Because we have eight already and some degree of sense is kicking in. And at adoption day, when you see the kittens and momcats choose their families, it makes it easier. Still hard though
-
More cuteness

I really admire you Terre for your work at the Kitten Inn. I know I couldn't do it. I would be the crazy cat lady. If there were cats that no one else wanted, they would be home with me. DH has banned me from ever going to the SPCA. But I love looking at all the pics you post, glad they are half way around the world from me!
Cheers, Dee

love all the kitty pictures!
Here is dusty thinking he's incognito but he doesn't fool me
-
LOL@hidden dusty.
Brand new babies. I rescued their mom.
-
A beautiful little orange and white kitten was picked up for foster while I was at the shelter today. She hadn't learned how to eat from a bowl yet, so went with someone who knew about bottle babies. Very cute.
And 2 adults were adopted during my shift. Always exciting.

Kiwi: Precious kittens!
Wren: So happy when animals get adopted!
I've enjoyed looking at all the kitty pictures and reading about them. This is a picture of Spottish drinking from her water fountain. It has been wonderful in stopping both cats from pestering us for a drink at the bathroom sink.
-
Wonderland and Spottish - lovely picture!
Wren great news!
CAMommy - another lovely picture!
Kiwi - the kitten season is "fur real" at the Kitten Inn. I hope you and your wonderful colleagues can get homes for all those beautiful babies and their Moms.
-
Wonderland, I have the same fountain and my cat loves it. He no longer jumps up on the sink EVERY time I enter the bathroom

Here's a funny that appeared on my FB feed today. Reminds me of my siamese cat. There's a collection of funnies here: http://brightside.me/article/15-funny-comic-strips-every-cat-owner-will-understand-29105/.

Here is a fun picture. We are doing a landscaping project in the backyard (under the supervision of the cats). So we are working away, when what should appear from around the corner, but an awfully brave squirrel. The intruder and Oreo had quite the stare-down before up the tree it went, chattering all the way.
