I love this thread...it really makes me smile (deeply). Thanks for starting it.
-
messy looking passed out Binx
I call this one his glamour shot
-
Sometimes, and only sometimes, like when I stay out all night partying, I sleep in my mommy's arms. But let's not tell anyone.
-
Looks like Binx and Dusty been partying!
Lily likes her brandy on occasion...
But Nicademus was strictly a beer kinda guy...
Thank goodness in his later years Nicodemus became a teetotaler... or should I say "tea" totaller...
I miss you Nic buddy
-
I love the kitty on the stove. Oh my goodness, cats crack me up
-
We used to have a himalayan that curled up in a cast iron frying pan on the stove!
-
I love seeing all your kitties. This is my cat
He's either sleeping or getting into something.
-
Hahaha...great pictures. Love seeing everyone's babies! Here's a pic of Nitro from about 5 years ago. He still looks pretty much the same but he's starting to show is age a bit these days (he's 12).
-
God, you guys have beautiful cats! Those pictures of Binx are priceless! The one looks like he is plugged in to recharge his battery, and the tooth? O myyyy.
Nitro! What a great name for a cat, and what unusual coloring.
-
Oreo likes to help with the Christmas decorating!
-
Oh Ruth that's priceless!! Maybe this year's Christmas card?!? Lol!
-
Julie and KiwiCatMom, wow those are beauty cats!
-
Starkist owning her favorite person in the whole world (my daughter)
-
Oreo - perfect name! Starkist and her person...
-
love all the pictures and stories of the cats!! Here is my cat...well my sons cat that he picked out from the shelter for Christmas two and half hrs ago. He named him stripes. I call him kitty. He is so much fun! Keeps the kids laughing! When they are away, he is always laying on me.
I love that he is a lap kitty! I will have to dig out some more pictures to tell you an interesting story about my cat, punkin, when I was a little girl.
-
Mozie loves to play and hide in the curtains.
-
Oreo at Christmas reminds me to share story already known to some of the ladies on Warm Fuzzies.
We were adopted by Arthur May 2014, all our other cats having died at that point. Coming up to Christmas last year there was some discussion about cats and christmas trees. "OMG" I thought because I had completely forgotten about that problem. Anyway the kids got the tree up nice and early and Arthur showed no particular interest. "Great!" I thought and posted that all was well with cat and tree.
Very next morning I got up to find this:
However DS devised a plan that ensured this:
Observe the cunning anti cat device at the top of the tree:
Duct tape - the answer to many of life's little problems
-
Love the duct tape! Mozie in the curtains - too cute! And Stripes! Just love all the pictures.
I have a friend who hangs her tree upside down - she has clips in the ceiling to hold the tree holder (it's a fake tree) and it hangs about 4' off the ground.
She had seven cats and a dog at one point.
-
Novel solution to that age old cat and Christmas tree problem!
-
Just saw the Nicademus "tea" totaller - I missed it first time - so gorgeous.
-
So cute! I am going out of town for a few days but when I come back, I will have to try to find my angel kitty at the very top of the Christmas tree!!! (She was so little that she didn't even knock it down).
-
-
Kjones, Stripes looks quite content! Looking forward to hearing about Punkin
Monis, I think Mozie is wondering if you can see thru the curtain too, lol.
FeelingFeline, well that was quite the Christmas fiasco!! Had the same thing happen here. Like you, we were worried when we put the tree up for the first time, but felines were only mildly curious. Yeah right, they were waiting for the opportune moment. At 3am we heard the big bump in the night, and of course it was the tree. We just went back to bed and next morning husband anchored the tree to two walls.
Yes that was Nicademus on the stovetop. Honestly I was quite concerned because as you probably guessed the ceramic top element was still warm from boiling the kettle. I didn't want him to get in the habit of getting up there too soon after turning the element off. But as it turns out it was a one time thing. Glad I got the photo!Ruth, I really want to see a photo of that kitty Tree Topper if you can find it
CAMommy, that guy in the video had definite catitude lol!
-
What conversation do you hear going on in this lovely painting?
One thought... "Darling I'm going to town, be a dear and clean the litter boxes today, the odor now is absolutely horrid."
This guy even hand feeds or is sharing his bowl with one of the cats lol!!
-
Some older photos of Lily, she used to enjoy living on the edge...
-
Lily's baby pictures...
-
I love Lilly's baby pictures! What is sweeter than a baby kitty.
-
I love the photo with the teddy bear. She's so tiny.
-
Awww...Lily!
Kitten season is starting here; several pregnant cats at Kitten Inn (rescue group). So I'll have kitten pictures for the next few months. Not my kittens, but kittens!
-
Our Moxie would jump up on top of our medicine cabinet every night while we got ready for bed. It was a ritual for her. I loved the way she would just let her legs dangle over the edge. I miss her.
