Thanks for the hike invitation, I just reached my daily goal of 6000 step after walking thru those scenic places.
-
Rose, so nice to hike with you! Hope you feel better after the hike!
-
Sorry Loverly, feeling grumpy tonite. Just checked Natl Hurricane Center forecast. Better get more naproxen.
🎶big storm comin soon?🎶.
-
Oh Rose, you do what you can. Don't feel bad. The girls are 14 right? They don't need adult entertainment (oh that sounds bad). They don't need an adult entertaining them. As long as they have food and maybe a good movie, board games, maybe?
-
How did you get above me ? Last I looked Eeyore was the last. Have you tried horse liniment??? Fibromyalgia or joint pain? Sorry you are hurting. No apology necessary We are human.
-
Eeyore, the pleasure is mine. Where would you like to go next
-
Eeyore, the pleasure is mine. Where would you like to go next? Oops, hiccup. Don't like blue line
-
Sassy, make sure this is not your problem.
-
Or this.
-
Just kidding.
-
AWHHH everyone is allowed to do something extra ditzy and stupid! Like plugging the power strip into itself, instead of the wall. When I was first learning to drive I sat just mystified as to why I couldn't start the car... looking around the dashboard for what was wrong. Helps to have it "park"... hmmm how scary is that? I did figure it out and started the car... good thing my brothers weren't there. The "blond" jokes would have gone flying... brothers can be sooo mean.
-
LOVERLY, that was so nice, we just had a new turn of events on toradol.
Rosie hugs, Patty, eyesore, beachside
Spookie thanks I'll look
-
I think most of you will be in bed. 9:30 here. So far it's beautiful here. So we are going to Kylemore Abbey today. We won't get to see Galway. We are so far out will just pass thru to the next place on Friday. We have 3 nights in Donegal and I'm pretty sure there's no wifi there.
Lovely, I'll hike as long as it looks like your pics without the baby bear.
Rose, nice to see you. Limit the number of girls, and have stuff to eat they can do. They should be able to handle simple cooking kind of things. Can you have them come right after your nap?
See ya guys later.
This is Kylemore Abbey. Was a home, then an Abbey with nuns and a boarding school. Nuns are still there.

hi ladies, just swooping in to add a link about caster sugar, brought to you by the Devine Nigella Lawson. I hope it helps with the cheesecake recipe.

Fall in the USA is on my bucket list so I am with the hikers. Gorgeous pics Loverley.
Rose, maybe a pizza party for the girls? Some supermarket beauty products like face masks, false eyelashes, lip glosses, plus a DVD movie. Low energy input for fab fun in my experience.
-
Howdy back to you Beachie. Wishing rain for all of you.
Loverly - the virtual hike was wonderful and refreshing. Glad we avoided Mama Bear.
Rosie - teens. Videos or what you have online. Plenty of food. Pillows. Blankets. Hide in your room. They don't care if the house is spotless. Quickie on the bathroom since they are girls. With leftover chips debris you (they family) will have to clean anyway. Emphasis on food. Maybe good frozen lasagna, salad, chips, dips. Easy peasy. How many does she want to have over? I think we only had 2 more but DD's room is postage stamp size. When she went to college, dorm room was only a bit smaller than her room. Counting the common kitchen area (2 shared) was quite a bit bigger. Ahh see Loverly concurs. Jacfin has some great ideas too. Maybe you can get a bargain on some trial size stuff.
Spookie, Sassy, Frey - I keep seeing stuff that says might be bigger than predictions.
Eeyore - I'm sure Sassy did not mean eyesore. Have no idea what her autocorrect is doing. Did you enjoy our hike too?
Smaarty - just set me up at the Abbey. I'll read, sip tea and nap all day long. I'll be sure to bring my woolies.
-
I think we need a stroll thru some beauteous yellow flowers. Be sure to take your allergy meds before we leave.
-
yesEeyore, auto correct is making me crazy. Tech buddy's have control of laptop. Kindle is only partially friendly. Auto correct is even screwing up auto correct.
Every time I am doing research with lots of browser's open this happens. The computer gets confused and goes into a to tissy.
There was New info on blood transfusions and I can' work on it. Fingers tied fooey.
-
Or maybe Italy?
-
I will take credit for the rain here. We will have all the family together this weekend and are/were planning a picnic. None of us have houses large enough to fit everyone in comfortably. Now I'm trying to think of fairly inexpensive restaurants where we might go. DH is being unrealistic, I think. Unless we can reserve a picnic shelter, which is unlikely so late, we will not have a place to cook. He wanted to cook a salmon and have others bring sides. I don't think that will work because there are only 2 kitchens involved and neither of us has a working oven. My idea was to have sandwiches and salad with time to talk to each other. We don't have a lot of time to be together and I hate to waste it cooking. There are 4 people at our house and 6 at DD's.
-
Italy for me. Pasta and art and Maseratis.
-
Goats, I think the recon plane is out there now. The NHC and local spaghetti models are showing coming in around Miami, then up the center of the state. If that holds, Sas and I will get wet, maybe a bit windier than usual. NBD. But if I were Frey in the Keys, I'd be planning on getting out. Forget which Key she's on. Marathon maybe
-
Spookie treachery is on marathon
Do you think I should call her?
-
Yup I think Marathon Key.
I need a giant bottle of wine today. Or some special coffee to drown myself in. Good thing DH is not home yet. He would make me turn the news off.
Sassy your autocorrect is hilarious. Treachery now. It does goes for strange words. Eyesore, treachery
-
I hate autocorrect
Mags Italy is lovely
-
and beachside becomes beachside
-
Couldn't hurt to call.
-
Why Goats? Cause of Erica?
One "nice" thing about hurricanes, you get a few days warning to watch and prepare. No so with earthquakes or tornados.
-
Thanks Spookie. Just the news today. Makes me wish I was not a news junkie - which I just turned off for the afternoon. Gots to get up and do something about this pigsty (which is not autocorrect).
Hurricanes - I understand Puerto Rico needed the rain badly. See Florida could use rain, well the southern part. New maps come out on Thursday.

-
Hi, back on line. Hours of trouble, but getting ready to go to a party
Hugs to everyone that needs them. See you later or in the morning
Loved Italy Mags. Up for lot's more. Easy on the eyes for sure.
Eeyore your not an eyesore, and Beachie you are not beachside, and Frenchfrye was not treachery, I was on kindle.
