M0mmy: have you seen Rick Springfeld in Ricki and the Flash, the new movie with Meryl Streep? If you haven't,, I would definitely recommend it.Spooks: hoping Erica goes out to sea,, and away from us. Don't need any more rain.
-
Ah, you found my home thread!! Did Z tell you? This is where I mostly hang.
Yeah, Erica can go away.
Stick around, we can be crazy.
-
Yes Mom2! Glennie is right.... We saw that movie also, and LOVED the music....Rick Springfield is just as hot as he ever was....
Nettie..... It's always hard telling the Grand-kids good-bye, especially when they are little.... I thought I would cry my eyes out.... But a job transfer moved them all to Orlando, and that was many years ago.... They are all doing great.... It's just that when they are little, you always want them close......
-
I want to see that Meryl streep movie. One of her daughters is in it with her too!
-
yes, and her daughter is great in it. I definitely recommend it. And it has a great soundtrack. Meryl sings !! -
Nettie, Skype is wonderful for keeping in touch with the grandchildren when they live far away. Mine are in Japan and we get to see them quite often. No charge using the video component. I highly recommend it.
Jazzy, love the comeback for healthy living.
-
Waiting until the movie theater in town with the bargain pricing will have it. Not a fan of spending nearly $30 or more for two movie tickets, popcorn and a drink
-
OK I reserved Cape Breton for Rosie last night. First a map to orient ourselves - including me. Now I have never been to Cape Breton. I only rely on Google Images as to their authenticity lol.
-
Florida folks- be careful in the storm coming your way.
-
Thanks Jazzy. I'm worried for Frey.
-
you all have to keep me posted. I have no idea about weather or world events. Just stuck in my own merry go round and want off!
Progression confirmed. Trying to decide plan of attack. Also going ahead with divorce. Awake with joint pain.
26 miles! I'm so impressed.
I'll take any kind of cheesecake. May try the shortcut. If I can remember:)
Beautiful pix. Scared of bears too.
At our walmart they have a pedicure in a bucket. Enough for 4 I think. My six yr wants to camp so bad. I feel your pain. That round trip is outrageous. Too young to catch a bus?
Nettie. Gorgeous kids.
Has anyone seen minion tic tacs?
Going to go drink some iced sleepy time. Have two hours before time to get up. See if I can find some pain killers. 600 mg ibuprofen not cutting it.
Happy snoozing.
-
Enjoying my morning coffee so far.
-
-
Minion twinkies spotted here.
-
Oh my goodness Ms. CHEVY, thank you for the good laugh. Those videos were probably made by women. Hilarious!!!
-
I am still laughing....thank you for the ray of sun shine amidst the storms of our lives.
Z, life has given you more than lemons.Wish you could get off the merry-go-round too.
-
-
Hah! GOOD one Spookie! I'm NOT making fun, I'm just thinking.....DAMN!
-
From this to that.............
-
When my SIL inhales, she does this...
It's like a trout smoker for your nose.......
-
Hey Spookie did Sassy ever get hold of Frey? Looking at the track today seems more your way than Sassy's but Frey's either way. Still following my storm board. Arguing whether it will come out of Hispaniola/Cuba as a rain maker or something stronger. Later today will tell. Appears from what I saw on the last message it has made a slight NW turn to cross Hispaniola.
I did get some Sleepytime Vanilla. Have not needed it. I usually go right to sleep. Sometimes wake up 2-3 am restless. Neighbor's dogs back to barking. Dove season starts next week. Hunting dogs of some kind but thought they were hog hunters not bird dogs.
Chevy - hilarious video. Wish there was a Part 2.
Zills - Yup need a way off that merry-go-round. C**pola on the progression. Big hugs sister on the personal issues. Hoping you have support around you.
How can Johnny Depp look outrageous and hot at the same time?
Oh BTW the black currant tea makes divine iced tea. Actually seeing a bit of space in that cabinet.
-
Doesn't matter. One local guy said it will come up the middle. They don't hold together real well over land unless they are HUGE. Frey is probably in the fire line. Sas and I will get wet.
-
Maybe really wet if it stalls. Where is the SasMaster these days?
-
I do not want a repeat of 2004. That was a bad year.
-
LMG bed day yesterday. Didn't read the news. and didn't get dressed. Divine. Marathon Blue Bloods and SVU. Thanks for the storm update haven't looked at that either. Nice trip to great Breton.
Chevy, still giggling I agree wish we had more of those.
Zills, sorry, just sucks. Men can be assholes. Sorry, too about the progression. Susan's are expert on that. If you ever need a place to go off for a vaca , I'm open. Pool. 20 minutes from beach and 1 hr from Disney.
Pool pumps in 1225$ UGH. Pentair variable speed. Energy star rated. Now the only thing that hasn't been replaced is the AC. Thinking of doing it simply b/c DBF can do it. Would save 50%. Hate to replace something working, but it's 17 years old. That's old for Florida. Last unit lasted 12 years. So, this is way beyond that. DBF does uber maintenance. Plus, it's a TRANE. First unit was the builders choice.
Susan I'll do a search soon on Zometa and the others. I'm osteopenic, I have been putting off the search. Took Fosamax years ago but just was too concerned about s.e.'s, but need to do something too.
Gals you know that Chattie only posted the two times and logged in on the 24th. and not again. Strange.
Glennie, where are you in Florida?
-
Hootie Hoo Patty and Rosie, and Mags, and Loverly, and, nettie, and Mommy. and...............Mema, and G, HNS.
-
Glennie is in Gatorland.
-
Translation for us non Floridians - Gainesville.
-
hi all, we headed north this morning and now in Donegal. Took all day and rained most of the way. Funny to see so much rain. This is our new view from our bedroom.
Very rugged country here but beautiful. Don't know what we're doing next.
-
Lovely view. Is that the Travelocity gnome on the table?
