Watch the panda cuddling one of her babies. They are alternating time with mama. Giant pandas tend to let the smaller, weaker baby die. Hoping to outsmart mama. The alternate baby is in nursery being bottle fed when not with mama. Not the 1st time a zoo has done this, worked fine
Makes me want to take a nap
-
Awwww, pandacam! (penguincams for me) But now washing the idea of grape jelly-flavored tea away with some Sleepytime+.
-
-
This guy would not be enjoying your heat index Spookie

-
Poor guy. Makes me sweat just looking at him
-
Whoa! That is hot with the humidity! No wonder you can't think. Ok, have a cherry coke...no wait...that's Ms. Chevy's drink. Have an alkaline lemonade
-
hmmmmm looks cool.
-
Oh my dear Ms. Sas, You don't remember where you hid your $$$? Have you checked underneath the mattress or that special container (box, jar, or tin can)? One time I hid $20 bill in one of my old textbook. At the end of the year I sold the book for $25 dollars. Who ever bought that book got an instant $20 discount.
Ok I will continue with the roll call: Jazzy, Ms. Blondie, Jacfin, Boyd, Gypsie, 2nd, Tresjoli, Kathi, Tang, Debiann, and Eeyore.
Goats, that poor sheep makes me hot and itchy.
-
What's the minimum temperature for one of those alkaline lemonades? (following the China issue, and the gyrations of the various markets, with interest)
-
Following along, longing for one of those alkaline lemonades!
-
I am waiting for the explanation too regarding China's tactic of devaluing their currency. I have a chunk I foolishly took out and parked in money market in 2010. Waiting patiently for the opportunity to dump it back in the market. I am so glad hubby has been investing in real estates.....just hope we won't get a major earthquake here near Sacramento.
Ms. Chevy, is your neighborhood going through what they called gentrification? Did I correctly read that the corner cottage was converted to a 3000+ sqf million dollar house? It's a shame. They are destroying history.
-
It's not so much that they tore down the old house, it's that they built a McMansion in it's place. Some of those here only have 4 foot front yards. Imagine what it does to your taxes.
-
Yeah, investing long-term makes cancer treatment decision process look not so intimidating!
-
Scans back. New spot on spine since April. New MO wants Radiologist to look. Took blood to see if still making estrogen. Come back in three weeks.
Possibilities. Hysterectomy or Lupron, spinal biopsy, bone strengthening med, rads.
Pass the alkaline lemonade with an asparagus twist.
-
Ah Z! I'm sorry!
-
Zills: madam, it is yours. We've got a pitcher of it. A large one.
-
zills and a bottle of Patron.
loverly, it was 300.00. chit
-
Not loverly but $300? Chit indeed. Make mine a vodka, and we're on.
-
okay
-
Hi ladies- getting busier with work stuff so I may not be here as much, but don't want you to worry about me either.
Hugs to everyone here having tests, waiting on results, or figuring out what comes next with your medical care.
I thought everyone would enjoy this lighthearted thought for today.
-
I'll take that dx. I miss Ireland. When is smarty coming home?
-
Oh crap! So sorry Z. I want that dx too Jazzy. Figured you are busy with work. I get used to hearing from people. Even though I don't always respond to you ladies individually, I read everyone's post. It's kind of weird but I do miss you folks when you take a break.
-
Ha! I accidentally deleted this over the weekend, and wondered where everybody was.
-
So, a beach, a beer (or our choice of stiff drink), a moment of quiet for all of us?
-
IF I could, it would be scotch and soda, and a remote beach.
-
Mmmmm
-
-
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........
-
-
Chevy, love your analogy for the Ashley Madison hack. Now the "clients" want to sue. Really! Don't the idiots know, IMHO, that any program can eventually be hacked.
Now to catch up on the three pages I'm behind.
